At what time period would you say TNA stopped being an "indy"? When they got a national TV deal?

I would never have really classed them as an indy due to being on PPV weekly and having a star studded roster.

Yeah I plan to get on starting that Westerns thread today if nobody objects. Will start with a brief overview and a few recommendations. Let's hope it's not just me in there!

Dogs are immense, if you've had a shit day or are in a bad mood their great company and don't talk absolute shite. My mother has a little girly dog at the minute and even she's a good laugh. Can't wait to get one my own after I leave Uni.

Watched Rio Bravo for the first time yesterday, was such a fantastic film, everyone played their part well, Wayne has unbelievable charisma and presence he's just fantastic to watch, Martin and Nelson were both great as was 3 time academy award winner Stumpy John Wayne is marmite to alot of people but it really a fantastic film, I reckon you'd love it richie lad if you haven't already seen it.

Anyone got any good tips for tomorrow? Fancy a flutter.

Having picked myself up from last week's dissapointment i'm wondering if anyone sees any value this week? For anyone doing accys the Northern Irish PL might be worth a look as the favourites seem to win those matches a very large amount, iv'e noticed few draws over the last number of weeks.

I'm really enjoying it. Very easy to watch and some likeable characters. It also helps that there are some gorgeous girls dressed as stewardesses for 95% of the show. The other 5% they seem to be in their underwear. It's a tough watch

Watched The Good, The Bad and The Ugly last night. It was my first foray into Western territory, and I thought it was fucking brilliant. The story was absolutely fantastic.

 

The version I watched was a re worked, extended version (just under 3 hours) but at no point was I checking the clock to see how long was left, it kept me relatively excited for the duration. The only slight distraction was that a lot of the sound had obviously been re dubbed from the original, probably due to the original film no being in the best of condition when they came to re work it. Eastwood himself actually re voiced bits an pieces for his character.

 

On the whole, I was well impressed with the style and presentation. I

Went for Celtic, Zenit, Marseille, Madrid, United, Inter, Valencia and Shaktar in the end. Stuck down 5 to win about 165

I'm thinking of sticking a fiver on Inter. Man U, Valencia, Madrid and Zenit and Lyon Returns about 75 quid
