Prince Nana Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 MORTIS VS GLACIER!!!!!!!!!!!!! wcw - Slamboree 97 Glacier - coming soon promo - Mortal Kombat/Stargate Themed ? you know even that math was horrible Slamboree 97 as a whole was actually very good and had some really good matches on it, but it did fade towards the end. Also it was so short it kinda didn't matter.

dopper Posted November 16, 2008 Posted November 16, 2008 Mike Adamle - Leave the memories alone Though I've read about them I had never seen/heard most of those clips before. Truly amazing, in every sense of the word.

LOL @ Terry Funk entering the ring as #2 with the chainsaw. Followed by chair shots to the head which was still relatively fresh for WWF in 1998.

freaky Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Oh, and the entire Mickie James/Trish Stratus feud.
dopper Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I was wondering who the "Terry" was that did commentary so looked at the comments. But all that showed was 5 pages of people talking about how they never knew Daivari was in the WWF all that time ago. So who was it? The only guess I have is Terry Taylor, but my chronology of WWF commentators are all over the shop. It was not long after Taylor infamously brought Public Enemy to the WWF so it's possible.
Mab Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 When was Angle's first apperance after this? Was it known he was going to be a wrestler with WWF at the time of this video? I liked the way Vince made Angle a heel when he came in, it went against the obvious all american hero. In this appearance though Angle is a face (I presume this may have been in Pittsburgh?)
dopper Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 The build-up vignettes, talking about what a great REAL athlete he was, started around a month before his debut at Survivor Series 1999. I'm pretty sure that video shows his only in-ring appearance until that match with Stasiak.
Smegma Cake Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 That site ^^ will be shut down in no time! I'll abuse it before that happens though. Great find.
