Paid Members Supremo Posted January 24, 2006 Paid Members Share Posted January 24, 2006 I came very close to voting for Eddie. As you said, he was a heel for most of the year. A truly evil heel, too. Yet the "Eddie" chants continued. It takes a very special person to be so loveable even when portraying a character doing despicable things. The award isn't, "most likeable bloke playing heel," though. If it was Eddie would win hands down but face of the year? He hardly did anything to deserve that. A great talent that left a huge gaping hole on the Smckdown roster, yes, but his death in my opinion is the only thing getting him the votes.
