Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted January 6, 2015 Awards Moderator Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) LAST YEAR'S WINNER: Daniel Bryan vs. The Authority The nominations have been counted, now it's time to vote for your anti-climax of the year for 2014! What should have been great but turned out to be a bit of a shitty disappointment? Feel free to give reasons for your choice below. The shortlist is: CESARO POST-WRESTLEMANIA DANIEL BRYAN AS CHAMPION ADAM ROSE THE WWE NETWORK THE WWE NETWORK'S NON-LAUNCH IN THE UK THE ROYAL RUMBLE (PARTICULARLY BATISTA'S WIN) DEAN AMBROSE'S EXPLODING TV BROCK LESNAR VS. JOHN CENA AT NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS BROCK LESNAR AS CHAMPION Edited January 6, 2015 by HarmonicGenerator
Shane O' Mac Version 2 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I considered Cesaro, the Rumble and Lesnar as champion very strongly, but in the end, they were minor things compared to not having Bryan post-Wrestlemania, whether he was the champ for a long time or not. Bryan was the MVP and centerpiece of Wrestlemania, and I think the WWE product suffered greatly in 2014 without him, particularly when you consider the rise of Rollins, Ambrose and Wyatt, and the potential for matches and feuds there.
