They have a new album out soon, The Seer. It's being compared to Soundtracks For The Blind and Gira is calling it the culmination of his entire life's work, in and out of Swans. Wanted to see them at I'll be your mirror with Portishead and Grinderman amongst others but couldn't afford it. The Soundcontrol gig more than makes up for it! Registration_Form Posted July 15, 2012 Share Posted July 15, 2012 I may be a bit of in ingrate but I love early, industrial uncompromising Swans and saw them last year and they didn't play a whole lot of that stuff (I guess it would be a bit weird throwing that into a set of their more recent tuns though..)
