Paid Members Pro Wrestling Elite Posted March 27, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 27, 2012 ***SPEED STAR ANNOUNCED FOR SPEED vs WIT CHALLENGE*** Â Â In a normal world it is said that opposites attract... On July 14th in the world of Elite, opposites will clash... In a match where one competitor is notoriously known for his character, charisma, and somewhat sarcastic wit... his opponent is known to be one of the single fastest rising stars in British Wrestling, and has been for some time... Â Â With an arsenal of quickfire strikes and almost perfect aerialistic offence, JOEY HAYES truly is one of the Elite and is a key member of our roster... With multiple championship success in both singles and tag team competition... Can he be matched in this contest? Will speed overcome wit? July 14th will give us the answer! cobystag
Didn't see Joey Hayes in the role of "speed" but the man is a fantastic wrestler and has proven me wrong before.
Paid Members Pro Wrestling Elite Posted March 27, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 27, 2012 Didn't see Joey Hayes in the role of "speed" but the man is a fantastic wrestler and has proven me wrong before. Â Initially we did have Joey booked in a different match for this show... Our initial choice for the "speed" bracket was one El Ligero... However due to commitments with All Star for the Summer season it was not feasible to have Ligero on the show... Looking at our regular roster and how we could move things around, we felt Joey Hayes was a man who fit the slot perfectly and we are confident in his ability to deliver
sentinel618
Based on absolutely nothing in particular, I shall say 'Abyss'
The Cum Doctor
Joey Hayes actually hung in there quite well with the Dragon Gate guys in the three way tag, so he's probably not a bad choice for the speed slot.
Paid Members Pro Wrestling Elite Posted March 29, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted March 29, 2012 ***TAG TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR TAG TEAM CHALLENGE*** Â Â On July 14th, two Scottish Stars will come together in a rare teaming to face the challenge of one of the most successful and prolific tag teams in British Wrestling today. The Superstars in this team have individually ensured their spot in Pro Wrestling Elites future with two superb showings in 4 way elimination matches... Now appearing in perhaps the role they are best known, they are the self proclaimed, "elite" tag team in british Wrestling... Â Â One of the longest running and most successful tag teams in recent memory, PROJECT EGO are unquestionably a match for any opponents... the team of Kris Travis and Martin Kirby are no strangers to Pro Wrestling Elite fans and the Scottish scene in general... On July 14th, the challenge has been set and someone must answer... Find out who already on July 14th...
cobystag
Ego vs Fight Club? They had a belter in 1PW that was really underrated and doesn't get much love. Admittedly this was the last show in the Dome with RVD and all the stuff that kicked off so that would probably be why. Â Interesting that the 4-way will not contain any of Kirby/Travis/Hayes/Ligero! Project Ego will face two top singles Stars teaming together for one night only... Although they have teamed in Scotland before...  The 4-way will be very different to the style we have promoted previously
cobystag
Whoops yeah should have remembered that match against Lion Kid! Â And you'd already announced Moss in the 4-way earlier....... Wow I really am sucky today.

The Cum Doctor
I'm SURE Wolfgang and BT Gunn have teamed up somewhere down the line. I'm also certain James Scott has had some belting Scottish partners, but nothing is coming to mind.
cobystag
Didn't Darkside and Wolfgang team up way back in the day, or was that 06 1PW only?
The Cum Doctor
They're back together now. This is apparently a one-off and a rarity. So that rules out T2K.
cobystag
Ah. Shit. Â With the two new debuts, I'm assuming their heavyweights due to the write up of the match in Moss' announcement, I can see T-Bone and/or Dave Mastiff as at least one of the two. T-Bone is getting everywhere these days it seems and I will never say no to more Big Bad Dave.
