Great show, one of the best this year from Welsh Wrestling.

1) Stevie Starr beat Matt Vaughn via pinfall in a red-hot opener. The finish was a big uranage slam, Starr catching Vaughn who had come off the top for an axe handle.

2) Flash Morgan upset Wild Boar after a 450 splash in a return match. The excellent crowd loved this one too. Some crazy suplexes from Boar and a standout performance for Morgan, in his first win for the promotion.

3) Kade Callous defeated James Mason to retain the Welsh Heavyweight Championship via roll-up, after interference from Matt Vaughn. Stevie Starr ran in for the save, setting up the main event tag team match.

4) Big Dog beat Mean Tommy Dean in the best match of their series, via running crossbody. Big near-falls in this, as Dog kicked out of Dean's top-rope fist drop, and Dean got a foot on the bottom rope after Dog's legdrop finisher. 25-stone Dog also missed a diving headbutt from the top.

5) The Artiste pinned Pollyanna via chicanery. Another women's bout was announced for the return to Welshpool, for which a number of tickets were sold on the night.

6) James Mason and Stevie Starr beat Kade Callous and Matt Vaughn in a tag team match, when Mason pinned Vaughn. Wild finish to the show.

A cracking show in Welspool in front of a sold out 300 people.

Also, after announcing that the return show on April 13th 2012 will feature a 'King of the Ring' tournament, we sold over 100 tickets on the night for it, which proves that the general wrestling public don't give a damn about over the top extravagant storylines, they just want to be entertained with a good wrestling show.

They certainly got that. There was some lovely feedback afterwards from an American gentleman in attendance, who used to watch Andre and the Sheik in the late-1970s. When someone like that is complimentary about the professionalism and enetertainment value of the show, you know you're doing something right.
