I thought I was done with wrestling. I hadn't watched a show in over a year, and every time I tried I just couldn't stick.

 

Turns out, I just hadn't watched NXT.

 

Ignorantly, I thought it was some indie cobblers that wouldn't interest me but fucking hell, it's a proper wrestling show.

 

Abysmally late to the party, but I'm enjoying wrestling again. It's a beautiful feeling.

 

Also, it's really strange watching a show full of over wrestlers.

The Wyatts standing strong at the end was the only thing I liked about the show. Even the in-ring sucked this week, to such an extent that Brie Bella versus Natalya was the best match on the show. Onwards, eh?

The friends I tend to socialise most with are [female] F1 nerds so when we do go out in a bigger group it'll probably be to watch a race with 100 other people. Again, not ideal for starting conversations otherwise it'd end up with "Shhh! I'm trying to watch the race!" - and that'd probably be from me.

Find a local pub that needs some custom. Talk them into showing the race live. Put up a poster. Talk to the boys that come. (Oh, and tape the race at home so you can watch it uninterrupted).

Nah I refused to watch any of her stuff. I think she got dropped to NXT then I stopped seeing her thank fuck. But yeh I will refuse forever and a day to watch another segment or match involving her. Simply out of spite coz shes a dumbass. changed or unchanged. Same as Del Rio really. Won't watch his matches or promos, I despise the guy and just will simply not give him chance. Just cant do it

The reason being that it takes such a longer amount of time to summon the referee, unlock the padlock, unthread the chain, pull the bolt, and open the door that only a heel would be cocky enough to think he's incapacitated his opponent enough to try it. JR mentioned on his latest podcast that him and King didn't usually know the finish of a match they were calling, as they preferred calling it that way. Surprised me that, I always thought that was one thing Vince would've made sure they knew.

It gives an air of spontaneity that way. When I was doing the FWA stuff, I never watched the matches before I commentated on them. I was at the event and was vaguely aware of what was going on, but would be working gorilla or the merch table. Even when I had the pencil, I tried not to know too much about how things actually turned out.

I'd vote for Damo because I want the other two to make it to NXT one day and the less TNA-stink on them the better

The beauty of TNM7 was leaving your (non-squash) matches to random result, and booking around that. Also letting the computer pick your surprise guests and the chaos that would bring.
