  1. That was RollerJam, a crappy roller blading TV show.Rollerball is something completely different.

To confuse things even more though, Paul Heyman was in Rollerball, as was Shane McMahon. In all honesty i've never seen it with my own eyes, so they might've been cut from the movie. And they featured some useless skit with the "stars" of Rollerball, having a chat with the APA on Smackdown, I believe.
  2. I remember him doing on a trip somewhere and getting so drunk he almost died. That was at least 18 months ago and I haven't heard of him returning to wrestling since.

Someone asked Kevin Nash how Scott Hall was and he said he had no idea and hadn't heard anything about him in months. His number will be up sometime.
  3. Gold-Dusty v. Bradshaw Surprised this didn't make it on the Dusty DVD. Bruce Pritchard does the Dusty voice-over at the beginning.

~Was this from the same period when he was impersonating all sorts? Dressing up as Dude Love against Dude Love, a jiiiive-turkey against Flash Funk, a baby and all sorts of other things? Only, i don't recall seeing this one and loved this period of Goldys career. Goldust's a fucking riot. I miss him already.
Yep, it must've been around early 1998, i'm assuming this was during the time the New Blackjacks split up and Bradshaw feuded with the 'NWA'.The Brain at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice 1989 Awards.Seeing 'The Brain' dancing to 'Right Stuff' is surreal. Awesome, but surreal.
  4. Saw Poseidon today, haven't seen the original so can't compare them, I'm a big fan of disaster movies, so it would have to be really bad for me to slate it lol. However, this was a fun film, the whole cast were good, especially Kurt Russell and Richard Dreyfuss.

Nothing really bad to say about this film, favourite parts of the film were the CGI of the ship getting fucked up at the beginning, (I loved Titanic for this reason, everyone hate's that film for the tedious love story, but skip that and see the ship breaking up at the end, awesome. Anyway, I've always had an interest in Titanic, so may just be me) and the awesome kid, whoever he was, he was a damn good little actor.

If you're a fan of disaster type movies, you'll love this.

  5. Broken Flowers

I wasn't expecting much (I didn't like Lost in Translation, this seemed to be along the same lines), found it to be a pretty decent film. Bill Murray is absolutely amazing in this as he plays a laid-back character who couldn't give a shit, but in the last few scenes you see the facade drop and he appears so utterly pathetic and desperate.

His journey throughout America, really should drag and I thought it would, but I was so intrigued as to what he'd find on each visit (the Lolita reference I enjoyed, as am a big fan of that film)

I have come to the conclusion that, although i've always loved his comedy films, Bill Murray is a fucking good actor.

  6. Genuinely saddened by all this, I spoke to him via e-mail a few times over the past few years, to try and offer him some little encouragment (as have a lot of history of Cancer in my family). He genuinely had a concern for his families financial welfare when he passed away and it's really a tragedy. I know that's an overused term as regards to wrestler's deaths, but this really hit's home, compared to all those who fuck about with pills etc...RIP John.

  7. Also watched Waiting... and really enjoyed it, good cast, shame the trailer ruined a lot of the good gags. I really like a load of Ryan Reynolds movies and I was called Gay because of this. :(

Also, watching oiled men in pants pretending to fight each other, never helps my "I'm not Gay!" argument.

    Boooo!

  8. I saw Slither Saturday night, I was shocked as I thought I'd really dislike it, but ending up really enjoying it. Initially found the film a little slow to start, but about a quarter of the way through, I was enjoying it all. Plus, the initial scenes made me actually feel sorry for Grant Grant at the end. Plus he managed to look cool and grotesque at the same time!

    Thumbs up!

  9. Man, this is a thread I haven't visited for a while...Finally got a decent media player (TCPMP) for my PDA. This means I can watch whole movies in DivX format at the proper framerate. Fuck WMP10 Mobile and its pathetic 12 frames a second!Anyway, the point here is:-I finally watched Team America! I know, I'm only two years out of the loop.Pretty funny, but nowhere near as good as the South Park movie. The sex scene made me laugh a little too loudly on the coach."Derka derka..."In an attempt to be a little more hip and with it, the next two on my list are Jarhead and Corpse Bride.

I saw Team America for the first time last night, it was nowhere near as good as South Park, it was alright.Gary constantly being sick made me laugh the most. (I have terrible sense of humour)Plus gotta love "MATT DAMON"
