  1. So let me see. Kevin forced an overdose down Sherri's throat (we don't know she died of OD, but let's just say for arguments sake) went to the Benoit's and staked them out for a week, killed nancy, killed daniel while chris was at the house and then hanged chris from his weights machine. Then left locking all the doors, feeding the dogs and sending messages from Chris B's phone.Case closed.

There's probably a few people on here that are clinging onto that possibility. Now that it's not possible for Nancy or Daniel to be the murderer.
  2. To be honest, it came off as pure speculation, like someone's gone away and read up on some wrestling history. They said along the lines of:There may be another twist to come, weeks ago Sherri Martel died. The police don't suspect foul play, but confirmed that she didn't die of natural causes. She was friends with Kevin Sullivan, who caused Benoit to leave WCW..It was left at that with the usual, "more to come.."

Wait until they view some of Sullivan's Florida days, with his satan-worshipping cult.
  3. Just watching Fox news..I dont know if this is the first time it's been mentioned but fox have just mentioned 'possible' links to the death of Sherri Martel.Saying they do not suspect foul play, but that she didnt die from natural causes, the link?....she was friends with Kevin Sullivan.

That really makes little to no sense at all.
  4. This may be completely unrelated to this particular situation, but does anybody ever see a time where wrestling will be able to have some form of a union behind them? So they don't have to work ungodly dates and/or compete with injuries through peer pressure, thus the need for painpills/steroids.

  5. Does this mean there will now be a shortage of chops outside Flair matches? I know if I was wrestling then I would be cautious about throwing a chop for what it could be assoicated with, same as the diving headbutt, sharpshooter, rolling germans and the crossface.

I think the crowd going "Wooo!" whenever anybody hits a chop makes people think of Flair more than Benoit. For me, whenever i see the three germans I just think of Angle and the diving headbutt makes me think of Dynamite. But certainly for the latter two moves, I doubt we'll be seeing them for a long time. Chris Benoits legacy is a child murderer, not a wrestler. I find myself stunned at even typing that.
  6. Just really heard about all this, just stunned, it's absolutely tragic and I just really can't get my head around anybody killing their 7 year old child. Benoit must've been in a real dark place and it's just awful, really awful. I don't know what else to say.

  7. Saw Fracture in the flicks today, didn't really know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Stars Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling (who i'd never even heard of) and to avoid the risk of giving away large chunks of the film, it's a game of 'cat and mouse' as Hopkins is jailed for shooting his wife and Gosling (the lawyer) has to try and prove Hopkins guilt (and avoid losing everything, including his own sense of what's right and wrong). I loved the face-offs between Hopkins and Gosling and any scene which didn't feature Hopkins, to me was lacking, he was that enjoyable here.

A really original script which had a lot of twists and turns and Hopkins seemed to relish the character he was given (which certainly had glimpses of Hannibal Lecter). The inital court scene is surprisingly, really funny, which was unexpected from the tone of the film.

    Would highly recommend this film.

  8. Saw Sunshine today and was really blown away with it. I'd heard so much criticism about the last quarter of the film being ridiculous, that I was somewhat not looking forward to it.

I must've missed the part where the film turned crap, because I absolutely loved every minute of it. It was easy to make a connection with the characters and as Seven said people have been callling it 'unoriginal' what do they want? Fucking Star Wars or something equally ridiculous. The film was centred about a possibilty which made the entire film seem real, this is one of Boyle's strengths as a director, that wonderful realism that makes what you're seeing so plausible, because it's directed so well and the characters are believable. 28 Days Later was the same.

I was also impressed with Chris Evans who i'd seen in some form of blah rom-com and it was dreadful, but he proved himself here. Just loved the film and hoping to see it again over the weekend. As was said before the visual effects were really stunning. And I (although admittedly i'm a big wuss these days) found the last few scenes quite emotional.

SPOILER - Highlight the black box to read
Especially the part where Cillian Murphy is seconds away from being totally fried and time stops.

I'd agree with Mr. Seven and say without doubt, the best film i've seen this year.

I also need to watch The Beach, the only films of Dany Boyle i've seen were Trainspotting and 28 Days Later. Love the combination of Boyle/Garland so far.

  9. Sorry if these have already been posted.

Ted DiBiase v. Ric Flair - Mid-South. This is the awesome angle and subsequent match, where Ted DiBiase is turned face via an attack by 'Dirty' Dick Murdoch.

  10. I remember watching that on DSF :( And they followed it up with dual atomic drops. Christ, I hate that move.I searched for the DSF channel online the other day, just out of curiousity to see if they had any wrestling still on. I remember watching that channel from 1993 onwards and over the years they showed, WCW PPV's, Clashes, Nitro's, WCW Saturday Night and others.Today they just get SmackDown. The wrestling world is indeed a poorer place today.
