  1. Someone please correct when if I am wrong. Benoit wrestled a match from his home town during Backlash 2004. When he won the match and retained the world championship he went over to his family. I am sure he had two sons. Why is nobody talking about his second son?

Benoit had two other children (a boy and a girl IIRC) from a previous marriage. I believe they both reside in Canada with their mother.Edit: David (born 1993) and Megan (born 1997).
  2. Can anyone enlighten me on the circumstances surrounding the departure of 911 from ECW in early 1996?

He got choked out by Taz as one of the first "big" victims of the Path of Rage. Unfortunately, 911 didn't quite understand the rules of the game, and popped right back up. Heyman was FURIOUS and fired him on the spot.I know he came back briefly (to get properly choked out) and was briefly in WCW as well, but I have no idea where he is now. More than likely he's running or bouncing at a bar somewhere in Jersey.
Wrestling under the name of Tombstone. Think he appeared on a couple of episodes of Saturday Night and that was him done.
Didn't he also appear on the Philadelphia Nitro the night after ECW Barely Legal?
He was also known as Big Al in WCW.Just found the Philadelphia Nitro results mentioned above -

April 14, 1997: Chris Benoit pinned The Barbarian...United States Champion, Dean Malenko, defeated Hector Guerrero...Rey Misterio Jr. pinned Juventud Guerrera...World Television Champion, Ultimo Dragon, pinned Lane Carleson...World Cruiserweight Champion, Syxx, defeated Prince Iaukea...Public Enemy defeated High Voltage in a street fight...The Giant pinned Big Al...Diamond Dallas Page pinned Konnan...Jeff Jarrett and Steve McMichael defeated Harlem Heat by Disqualification...Lex Luger defeated Kevin Nash by Disqualification.

Not the same Big Al that Tank Abbott threatened with a knife? Or do I have my names wrong?
I'm sure there were two Big Al's (and who needed one?). The Giant's squashing of 911 (Al Poling) was meant as pot shot at ECW.

1PW: Officially NOT In LiquidationPosted by Phil JonesBritWres.com has learnt that Steven Gauntley's 1 Pro Wrestling promotion is NOT in liquidation. 1PW's insolvency practitioner has given Steven Gauntly a grace period to procure the necessary funds to save the promotion. If Gauntley fails to find a backer, 1PW would then officially enter liquidation. However, 1UpGames, Gauntley's merchandise company, is in a state of liquidation.

  6. Because when I e-mailed him - he has the same IP address as Mrs Sprules had a year or so ago.

Funnily enough, I e-mailed "Big Sister" from 'Britwres' 2 weeks ago, claiming to have a really shocking news story. When they replied saying they were interested, I ran their IP accross TWCF and I got a mod to run it here too, for a member match....PWNED! ;) You know who you are (and so do I)!
Hmmm... I post on BritWres.com and I don't know who 'Big Sister' is. Interesting...
  7. Other than the touring WWE is there any promotion in Britain that draws in the thousands?

Only Pippa L'Vinn shows ;) Seriously, All Star drew over a 1,000 on Sunday in Croydon. ROH drew over a 1,000 in Liverpool last year whilst 1PW did the figure at the Doncaster Dome.
