Oh goodee, let's crack open the biscuits.Seriously though, I heard abot this this morning, a bit crazy but as was with all wrestling deaths I remain slightly indifferent as i don't know these people to feel loss. Obviously feel sympathy for the wife and the kid, especially if they are the innocents in all of this.not all his family are dead he has another son and doughter that weren't there at the time

Loki, that wouldn't be Aaron 'The Idol' Stevens and KC James as Michelle McCool 'teachers pets' would it?!
On August 4, 2006, Stevens made his SmackDown debut when he was introduced (along with KC James) by Michelle McCool as one of her favorite "Teachers Pets." The two went on to defeat Funaki and Scotty 2 Hotty with the help of McCool. The following week Stevens and James defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick in a non-title match. On the August 18, 2006 show, Stevens and James ambushed the Tag Team Champions. Stevens and James got their WWE Tag Team Championship shot against the tandem at No Mercy on October 8, but failed to win the titles. On March 1, both Stevens and James's profile were removed from the WWE website, and they were demoted to OVW.

Does Paul Heyman have any contractual ties left with the WWE?!Or, is he just choosing not to work anywhere else at the moment? ...I'd have thought he'd have been a dead cert for, at least, an on-air role in TNA.

Â
I have got this song in MP3 if anyone wants it.
Â
It just sounds so much better when you can see his insane slap/downstrum acoustic guitar technique. He's a blind, African-American singer songwriter who's music fits somewhere between Jazz/soul/r 'n' b...but in a good way.
Â
Check it.

Max Avery Lichtenstein - Tarnation
Â
Just found this.
Â
Been looking for it since i heard a clip of it on the latest 'Impule' advert. It's an absolutly gorgeous acoustic instrumental track, with the most adorable piano melody over the top. At one point i thought it'd be better off for some lyrics, but after listening to it a few times makes me realise that they'd only ruin it.
Â
Beautiful.

Hadn't heard the Corsten remix before. It's very good but i still prefer Tiesto's. If anyone has 'He's a pirate' on their cpu upload it NOW.

I think my favourite track is In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth; 3.Only because when i first heard it, and it stopped i thought 'wow! that was a good song'. But, little did i know that it infact had a lot left to offer, and the song broke back in with a DUMMMM DU DU DUM... and i think what followed was the first time i've ever marked out for a song.Anywho, todays options; The Spill Canvas - The TideUnderoath - Everyone Looks So Good From HereRadiohead - Life In A Glass HouseIf you're put off by the fact that Underoath's first album was soppy emo gash, then i recomend you take a listen. It's an awful lot heavier and frankly, an awful lot better. Much more of a crazy, metal song. The two singles were the only ones I enjoyed but they weren't anything special when compared to classic Co&Ca tunes like 'A Favour House Atlantic' and 'Delirium Trigger'. The fact that they re-released special versions of all three albums shortly after the release of album three (I'm not typing that again) pissed me off no end as I'm a total sucker for limited edition things.

The Prize Fighter Inferno is Claudio's 'eclectic' solo album. I'm convinced that 75% of the time 'eclectic' is a nice way of saying 'shite'.As for (deep breath) Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness, it was terribly disapointing. It promised such great things, the imagery and the agrresive streak of the single ('Welcome Home') suggested they were going to fulfill their prog dreams. Instead, it was an album mostly filled with singles. Absolutely terrible. And as for repeating a song twice on the same album ('The Willing Well III: Apollo II; The Telling Truth and Apollo I; The Writing Writer) what was the point? The same song, on the same album..twice? The only difference being they added a bit to the end of the second version. Whoop-di-doo.I did like 'Welcome Home' and 'The Final Cut', though. After the diabolical (deep breath) Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness I haven't paid much attention to Co&Co, their first two album were really enjoyable and I love the concept but there was literally one good song out of eighteen on that record and even that song wasn't great.

I got into Dredg when it was announced they were supporting glassJAw.
Â
Unfortunately, as always, glassJAw pulled out. I know it's not their fault, but ever since their tour with soulfly (which i missed) i've had tickets for every tour and every time they've cancelled. Even the tours where they've managed to fulfill dates, they've never gotten to the shows i have tickets too. It's a shame, at one time i thought they were the best thing since sliced bread but i can take them or leave them now. Everything you ever wanted to know about silence still has some great tracks on it.
Â
Speaking of Coheed, what did you think of The Prize Fighter Inferno CD? Besides the quirky Run, Gunnar, Recall... i thought it was absolutely terrible. Really was the sound of a once great man nestling up his own bottom.
-
Aye, yes it's fantastic. The follow up Crimes was very good, too if not a little 'hip' for it's own good. New album 'Young Machetes' is probably my favourite. It's got a nice blend of the complete spazzyness of the first album and the swagger of the second album. Brilliant live band too.Though i imagine if you haven't heard them before seeing them, they'd sound a mess.

Dashboard Confessional - Age Six Racer
Â
Â
Bloc Party - Hunting For Witches
Â
Â
Angels And Airwaves - A Little's Enough
Â
Â
Â
Thought i'd make my debut with a bang. Of sorts.
Â
I'm sure you've all heard most of them, but they're my favourite songs of today.
Â
Blood Brothers are possibly my favourite at the minute. They bounce between genres without any regard for anything, all the while maintaining a 'hook' or two. Laser Life is probably their most accesible track, but also one of their best. They're kind of like the marmite of music, you either love them or hate them. The same for critics too, one mag will describe them as 'the most important underground band ever' and another will declare them the worst thing ever. But, it's hard not to like them with lyrics like "I'm a pound of flesh in a drum machine dream".
Â
Matisyahu is just brilliant. Jewish reggae from New York.
Â
Angels and Airwaves are an odd one. I've only today realised they're not as shit as people make out...
Â
...They're still nowhere near as great as Tom DeLonge would have you believe, either.

I give you a fantastic nickname and all i get is grief......plus, all this uploading stuff is beyond me. I really have no clue. I think it may be safer if i stick to calling people cunts, obviously entering threads with an objective is above my station
-
pfft......searching is for losers.
-
I probably shouldn't, but i really like that new song by Dan le Sac vs. ...Someone with a silly name.
Â
It's called 'Thou Shalt Always Kill', and some of the lyrics are fantastic.
Â
"Thou shalt not judge a book by it's cover,
...Thou shalt not judge Lethal Weapon by Danny Glover!"

As regards Schultz, how anyone can justify it as:
...Is beyond me? Digby, is that seriously your opinion? Your suggesting that it was okay to hit a guy down, not once but twice because he declared a notoriously fixed/fake (whatever) business to be just that on a news program which probably airs to people already of that opinion anyway, so Schultz attack probably did nothing then turn more people off the product. Even if we are living in a fairytale world where people still believed, the reporter did only say "I thought it was fake", surely he could have retorted in a way that didn't resort to mindless violence?Nevermind the fac the guy was probably doing his job and just being told what to say.I'm amazed people can be agreeing with belting a guy half his size without any form of confrontation. I assume you agree with all mindless violence? ..or is it just because it's wrestling?Or a man passionate about his business, and is greatly offended by some little guy with an ego declaring what he does as fake on camera.
-
To eb fair, as much as that is slightly amusing it still makes Schultz come across as a complete wanker.

A History Of Violence
Â
Man, what a disapointment. Ever since seeing the trailer i was well up for this, i mean ED HARRIS~! I'll admit to having never read the graphic novels, so maybe that's why this didn't live up to expectations...I just expected something completely different.
Â
I was expecting a PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER~! with the mobsters using all sorts of creepy, dstarsdly tricks to get at Joey/Tom leading to the climax where there is a funky ending. Which leaves your head all fucked up because of it's complexity and awesomeness. Instead it goes down complete shits street, into a pseudo gangster flick which throws away what could have been an awesome ending in a passing comment and it's actual ending is the worst in cinematic history. Truly shit.
Â
V For Vendetta
Â
Loads of my friends told me going into this that it was awful. Terrible.
Â
Boy, were they wrong. It was absolutely amazing. Superbly shot and superbly acted (yes, even Portman passed). V's dialogue was seriously amazing (and i imagine my friend's dislike of this film came from a lack of understanding) and the progression of evolution of Portman's character was so well done. Loved it all. Just such an awesome film.

A lifetime of internet love for the person who can unearth a clip of Bubble getting owned by a table in one of the earlier Big Brothers. Big Brother 2 i think.
-
Machete is just a local talent they fast tracked in because Apollo got some heat backstage.IIRC he trained at Orlando's FXE wrestling academy. I think before the 'machete' monikor he worked in and around the Florida area as Rick Vega.
