I wish we could have seen it. His final match went unrecorded. No spectators cheering him on, no flashbulbs, no theme music. Just his love to perform... wasted on two people who can't even tell us about how awesome it was.

Apter was just scary. He completely dimissed the idea that steroids are commonplace among major stars and implied Benoit just liked working out a lot. How anyone can with his experience in the business can call themselves a journalist and then say something like that is baffling.

Another update on Benoit murder/suicideby Dave MeltzerSources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy several days ago, then killed himself and his son, before taking his own life.Benoit was found dead in his weight room.

This is just an absolute crazy situation. Not only the news that Benoit's dead, but that he could be a murderer. Its just an insane time.I hope that this murder-suicide stuff turns out to be wrong, because if this ends up pointing to Benoit I think a lot of people are simply going to give up on wrestling. This could shake a lot of peoples foundations to collapse.

The potential fallout of this could be huge. Its scary.

I think people are being a bit harsh on Chris. I certainly wouldn't put him in the same context as the others on the list, but I do understand where people are coming from, as this summer I distinctly remember numerous circular arguments where it appeared he was purposely missing the points you were making, and it was infuriating (discussions on show shills especially). I think he's improved on that front recently though.I am amazed CULT OF PERSONALITY has no votes.
