We don't do Superstars
-
No Kaitlyn this week
Â
Still a poor show but NEWM's write ups make this must see for me.
-
Probably my new favourite thread. I shall watch last weeks tonight at midnight.
-
Having Chikara guys on the tv show might make it a bit more watchable. It's too generic currently and i can't get through a whole episode.
-
Episode 8 featured some watchable undercard action with Daizee Haze and Delirious vs MsChif and Jimmy Jacobs, a nicely focused squash for the American Wolves, and Bryan Danielson vs Tyler Black in a World Title contenders match which wasn't up there with the New Horizons PPV match but came across well as a TV main.
Â
This was also a rematch from week 6's (25th April) TV main event between the two which was fucking awesome. I'd check that one out if I were you.

I think it's best you stop trying to defend yourself. I would have thought it's fairly obvious no one from here will take you seriously or ever attend one your (reportedly) crappy shows so just stop posting and focus your attention on getting the locals and casuals in instead of the members of this forum. I'd advise you put on something decent though otherwise they will never come back either.______________

I was listening to that shoot the other day. Fucking hilarious, especially the Homicide impressions. It's aminly all funny stories instead of wrestling stuff which is exactly the way I like it.
-
Cheers for the help. Hopefully my ISA interest will be of such gigantic value I'll just get them all anyway.
-
So there's nothing good particularly from Reborn Again (11/5), Fight @ The Roxbury (8/6), United We Stand (22/6) or Caged Rage (24/8)?
-
Ok, opinions people please.I haven't seen a ROH show since Cabana's farewell on 28/4/07. I'm a long way behind and I don't think I can ever catch up. Assume I have access to the PPV's, is there anything else I'm really missing over the remainder of '07? Any unmissable matches (that don't appear on the PPV's remember?)Cheers.
-
All those guys were Hulkamania Fan weren't they so it'd be pretty pointless.
-
What did remlap do to get on this list? If he's the guy with Bob Barker or whomever in his avvy I only remember him making posts regarding satellite TV stuff or something. Of course that could be someone else in which case I have no idea what he's posted. No offence.
-
Guess there's a first time for everything then. Maybe i'm just not the kind of guy who gets emotional over an internet nomination that i'm sadly never going to win as long as the Mab's and strangely Mo Chatra's of this world exist. Must try harder this year. I'd be sure to have some classic defences if god forbid Jeff Hardy passed.....or Ashley
No-one ever says this unless they're genuinely bothered by it.I wanted to win this
-
Damn, I wanted to win this but predictably, no one gave a toss about my 'hilarious' comment except the obvious person and his cronies. The feud continues~
-
Jesus, THOSE are the options?
-
I'm going for Kennedy because he's easily the biggest disapointment out of that list. Look at the others, what did you expect? Hardly going to sell out MSG are they......
-
Cheers for clearing that up. They all blend into one you see. Both were fucking shite.Judgement Day & Vengeance joint.
I remembered Benoit missed the Vengeance ppv, so I checked Wikipedia.Benoit no-showed and the 5 man main event were both at 'Vengeance: Night of Champions' in June.Judgment Day a month earlier had Cena vs Khali & Edge vs Undertaker.I'm going to go with WWE Judgement Day. I don't actually remember the specifics of the card apart from the 5 man WWE Title main event that went 9 minutes (!!!), and it was the one Benoit no showed but it was the PPV that made me say I wouldn't be paying for this shit anymore unless it's Rumblus/Mania.
-
I'm glad i'm not alone in the WSX love. Watching the boxset in one go proves it as the best wrestling promotion of all time. A perfect example of how to produce simple un-over the top booking, well defined characters and numerous relatively short TV matches that seem like MOTY contenders. WWE and TNA would kill for these writers. Bring that shit back!
-
BFG was most likely the best of the year.I'm going to go with WWE Judgement Day. I don't actually remember the specifics of the card apart from the 5 man WWE Title main event that went 9 minutes (!!!), and it was the one Benoit no showed but it was the PPV that made me say I wouldn't be paying for this shit anymore unless it's Rumblus/Mania.

I'm guessing not many people saw the classic that was KENTA & Ishimori Vs Marufuji & Kota Ibushi from July 15th. That's the real winner (but only because I haven't watched THE Kobashi match yet).Yuji Nagata Vs Hiroshi Tanahashi NJPW April 13thKatsuhiko Nakajima Vs Shuji Kondo AJPW February 18th
-
Agreed. Only because I can't remember what else has happened, but it was a fucking great show.TUF 6 Finale
-
That Rave/Nigel match is my ROH MOTY up until the end of April. But the Briscoes' one isn't far behind, if not right behind.
-
I still can't believe grown men chant at wrestlers. You're all sad. Applause as a sign of respect and thanks for the entertainment you're watching is about the only acceptable behaviour of an adult.

Which weekend of shows was better: 13/14th April (Morishima Tag/Morishima-McGuinness 1) or 27/28th April (Cabana Farewell Shows)? I only ask because I just completed the first one and found them to be a bit lacklustre meanwhile the second weekend is the last batch of DVD's I have to watch.

The Uso's double dive to the outside was pretty good especially the one over the top where it looked like it had the potential to kill Titus and we'd be rid of him for good.
