Which UK promotions regularly run more than 10 different towns?
Â
I'm thinking All Star, LDN, Ravenhill... any others?

Happens a lot in this country. Some guys have used it to their advantage. I know one who stresses the mantra that it isn't what you earn in a night, but in a year that matters. I'm not endorsing that viewpoint, but you can see where they're coming from if it pays off.

Hogan wouldn't be pissing around with Power Rangers as champ. Silly Spider.

'Mike Check' broke me, haha! Amazing post. CM Punk IS Spider Nugent!

I'd love to do 1996, a fun forgotten one!

But, who gets the rub? You've gotta surely put them in with big guys like a Johnny Moss or someone for that, otherwise it'll look stupid.

Scott Steiner should also have sex in the middle of the ring with all of the female workers, because he's The Big Bad Booty Daddy while Rick runs around barking.
This proper creased me!
-
Apparently Goldust's on this show too - surely this calls for a return of 'The Natural' Dustin Rhodes!
-
Man, put them in the Rumble to finish as well, could you imagine?!
-
Can he get three guys in the Steiner Recliner again? That'd be ace.

It's interesting you mention the soap opera market. When they were doing that triangle with Bryan/Punk/Kane and AJ in the summer, I had people I had no idea watched bringing it up to me. Reminded me of the same thing happening in 2000 when it was HHH/Kurt/Stephanie.

Parents will take their kids to any old shit, regardless of their interest/lack thereof. Mine did. I still remember being confused as to why my old man would go to the bar rather than watch The Smoking Gunns vs Shawn Michaels' Knights (great show in fairness!).

I think what Ebb meant was that we are selfish for wanting more outta wrestling, as adults, when clearly WWE isn't aimed at us directly as much now.
They are doing storylines about people having heart attacks and their two of their biggest attractions are an action film star and the former UFC champion. They want to attract kids, but this product isn't aimed at kids at all. Like always, kids will watch. Kids watched Stone Cold and DX, and they will watch this. The majority of the audience is adults. They are the ones paying the money to buy the PPVs. Its a myth that WWE has the huge audience of children. People over 30 are their strongest audience. And what kid would be into what WWE is currently putting out.
Looking at the audiences at the house shows last week, there's more kids there than at any time since the mid-90s.

A new guy is in charge in the wildlife "WWF" organisation and was more fairer to deal with than the previous guy. Vince McMahon supposedly just gave him a ton of money and the new guy agreed to no more editing.
Common sense triumphs at last.

Some of those early retrospective DVDs are near-unwatchable.

WWE in 2012 is for kids. If you're an adult and you're still watching, you're still likely to watch anyway. Especially if you care enough to write on a fan forum about it.

He cashed it in on the 1,000 Raw though, didn't he? And that ended in a schmozz.
-
He became the first man to fail when cashing in Money In The Bank
Has that been mentioned at all since it happened? I thought there were legs in that, in terms of character development.
