"Future Preston City Wrestling Regulars" would be a fitting name.
Â
"The Fludder Muckers"

*claps*

Say what you like, the man was OVER!
-
I forget sometimes how massive a bloke Undertaker is. That's actually Brian Kendrick in the photo with him.
-
Tanahashi vs Suzuki from 'King of Pro Wrestling 2012' and Tanahashi vs Anderson from 'New Beginning 2013' are my favourites.
-
I have it on DVD, I'm sure, I bought it drunk at Dragongate years ago!
-
Episode Four of Interesting People Talking Wrestling is with football journalist and broadcaster Gabriele Marcotti chatting a lot of old school ECW.
Â
Wow, I didn't expect to read that. Will be downloading this tonight!
-
It was really well done, wasn't it? Very good.

Hogan Knows Best!

At what point should the DJ go to his Grade A material? You know, Black Lace, 'Tell Me Ma' by Sham Rock, and Hillbilly Rock Hillbilly Roll?
Â
That proper broke me, hahaha!

Time to play the game!....

Just do some more Gut Checks around the country. Sorted!
-
Nice little factoid from the Observer - Bo Dallas was the first entrant in a Royal Rumble match not to have been born at the time of the first Royal Rumble in 1988.
-
Hearing Matthew Kelly reference Papa Shango has made my night.
-
Am I correct in thinking all these guys will have paid to get in this? TNA is on to a good little earner if so!
-
Off topic, but can we have a heel, right-wing British tag team called the National Express please? Cheers. They obviously charge less if you book them in advance.
-
The Impact Wrestling tapings I went to were roughly 9 million times more enjoyable than the Raw one I attended. I think if TNA takes that live experience around North America, they'll make a lot of fans along the way. Draw them in with the names, it worked here.

Fun WCW top 100 list HERE
Â
That Johnny B. Badd vs Brian Pillman from Fall Brawl '95 match must be one of the most under-rated US PPV matches ever. I've never heard anyone speak highly of it, and it's bloody brilliant.
-
I have a lot of time for Ric Flair v Vader from Starrcade though, probably my favourite ever WCW match.
Â
Agreed, one of the best examples of them doing a big, emotional match really well. WWF were usually a lot better at that.
-
I'd have had War Games 1991 in there as well. Not a bad list really though.
-
Also I quite enjoyed some bloke in the crowd yelling "SUPER DRAGON!" during a quiet moment in a backstage bit on the 20th anniversary show.
Â
It made me feel uncomfortable, and ashamed I understood the reference.
Ditto, cringe central!
-
Well, Hogan dropped the title to Undertaker TWICE, so he does owe him one! ;-)
-
Guy posted this on the WrestlingClassics.com board. A WWF microphone was spotted when WCW announced that NWA tag-team title tournament in 1992.
Â
Anymore to this story?
Â
Tony took it for giggles. JR returned it, rewarded with a toga.
-
Yeah, Michaels had a good reason to be in the HHH/Undertaker match, which played into the story leading up to and during the bout. Austin obviously doesn't. Unless he's still pissed about the Ministry.
-
Taylor allegedly put his bag in Matador's locker (ooh!), leading to words and and ensuing challenge! Sean Mooney was your man.

What a picture! Watched Doom vs Sting and Luger from the Clash the other night - they really had the most ill-fitting music, didn't they?!
