  1. Sky Sports just had an update, pretty much saying the same strangulation/smothering/hanging allegation.Similar to people not believing the deaths until they came from more than one source, I think it's best to wait until multiple sources confirm the same thing.

  2. I'm going to cheat twice here by not using Sendspace or an actual song, more of an instrumental:

    Die Hard Trilogy.

It was used for two levels on DHT, only recently found out that Michael Kamen was responsible for it. I think it's quite a waste for a game level of a now-dated console.

  3. The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

"A suburban American family is being stalked by a group of psychotic people who live in the desert, far away from civilization."

I haven't seen the original so I can't compare the two.

After an eventful first two minutes the film took a more character-focussed direction for the next 40 minutes. It felt like it was dragging a tad, but ultimately it meant more when the family came under attack. Some decent make-up, a few nasty deaths and a rather protective dog make for a decent little film.

  4. Can anyone fill me in on the background to Austin's "What?" catchphrase? I recall it having something to do with Christian...

I don't remember Christian being involved, just that it was during the invasion. Austin just kept saying it all of a sudden on an episode of either Smackdown or Raw. The show ended with Austin throwing Angle's medals into a canal and saying "What?" one more time.
  5. 2001 Maniacs.

A group of people wind up in the Southern town of Pleasant Valley, greeted by Mayor Buckman (Robert Englund) and the fellow residents, who are just about to celebrate their annual 'Guts & Glory' festival. Initially treated as guests for the event, it becomes apparent that the residents have alternate, death-related motives for the guests.

I'm usually skeptical about horror films with Robert Englund playing someone other than Freddy, but this didn't disappoint. Some inventive deaths, barely any filler and a few laugh out loud moments too. I'd recommend it.
