  1. Perfume: The Story Of A Murderer

I've just finished watching this on Sky Premiere, after remembering a

for it in the cinema and being intrigued by what little was shown. You pretty much know what to expect after reading the title, with the addition of a unique story and some dark humour/odd twists. I'd definitely say it's worth watching and would probably watch it again, just curious as to what other people make of it.
  2. I was pointing out that most of what was written about me by this foul-fingered newbie was weak, uninspired pap.

Newbie - Yip the greatest argument of them all. I know nothing because you have been here for years and post whored your way in the thousands yet it's not included one nugget of gold. 2 posts well technically 3 now and i'm already a UKFF treasure.
Newbie is merely a description given to a new person, nothing insulting should be taken from being called one. It's not initially a bad thing, it's just the majority of them give the name a bad reputation due to being total gormsters.

The big Ulsterman seems ok from what i've heard well thats what Leicester Lantern's 'MA' [as Dave might say] told me.

Going OT, but where has Leicester Lantern got to?
  3. Can we try and work out which poster it is...?

It was you, wasn't it. Cretin. :(

would I recommend the UKFF to others? No.

Well they're more than likely going to pop by now, what with the attention that's just been drawn to it. Whoever wrote this can consider 'Operation Backfire' a success.
  4. I can't remember the most basic details for the life of me, so kudos to anyone who can answer this:In the Attitude era, Prince Albert won a match against Mideon(?), after which Mideon said something on the lines of "I like [blank] too". A few questions:1. Was it Mideon who said this?2. What did he say?3. Can anyone confirm if this went anywhere? I'm sure it just got forgotten about by the next week.

    Anybody? :/
  5. Does anybody know what the 8 different fighting style are on SD V Raw 2008 ? thanks.

The CraneThe StagThe BatThe RatThe HorseThe TigerThe MonkeyThe Beatlep.s. I will take you, old man!

  6. I agree with CoreyVandal on Fantastic Four. I thought it was a vast improvement on the first one, although one part of the dialogue really done my nut in:SPOILER - Highlight the black box to read
When Galactus is destroyed, one of the 4 says "We did it".No you didn't you glory-hogging gimp. You just stood there like plums as Silver Surfer risked his life destroying Galactus by himself :angry:Edit: What's up with the other spoilers not showing?

  7. Up until the other week I can't recall ever thinking about favourite directors, and I've come to the conclusion that it's got to be Carpenter. Big Trouble in Little China and Halloween are two of my favourite films, with good mentions for They Live and Christine. I've been thinking about getting some more of his stuff, particularly buying The Thing since it's got ace reviews and it's rarely on TV (that, and the mighty Kurt). Any suggestions?

    Hatchet:

In a film that's enjoyed good reviews from the festival circuit for the last year, Kane Hodder, much like in his role as Jason Voorhees, plays a disfigured, once presumed dead man who preys on a group of stranded tour boat punters.

Nowt special or original there, although the story of how he came to be is a decent touch, and the deaths are quite decent. Apart from Mercedes McNab and cameos from Robert Englund and Tony Todd, all the actors are pretty much unknown, but they pull it off well. Definitely one of the best horrors this side of the year 2000.

  8. Sometimes a recording of a gig from the crowd makes the band sound bad...and sometimes it's the band's fault.

(I actually liked their album btw. This is their new song from their soon to be released 2nd album)
Crikey he still sounds horrid, although somwehat
    .
  9. Anyone seen 1408 yet?I'm thinking of going to see it, but don't want to if the storyline is "man goes mental in a hotel room". Is there anything more to it?

Oh yes, there's more to it. It's a goodie.

Death SentenceMy girl ended up chosing this one over 1408 (surprisingly!). It was OK. Not as bad as some of the reviews its been getting.. but not that great either. Most of it was an exact rewrite of Taxi Driver... especially the last 15 minutes or so! I dont know if thats what was intended.. but some of the scenes looked like an identical copy.Kevin Bacon was pretty good.. but I dont think I'd ever be able to see him in the same way since he starred in The Woodsman!

I agree with the Taxi Driver comparisons, however I found out that Death Sentence was based on a novel of the same name, whch was released a year before Taxi Driver. Still, I thought it was a decent film, and Kevin Bacon was pretty damn sick in it.
  10. http://youtube.com/watch?v=IwEJa_p5W5QI was there live on Sunday. You should all be jealous.

Awesome live band..awesome band full stop.Saw them in Dublin last weekPlus the word "shit" is the main difference between that and the johnny cash version
I know, it just sounded horrid when the crowd said it. I know it's an ace excuse to yell an obscenity, but that sounded painful. Could be down to the recording though.Harold & Kumar 2 trailer.
