  1. Marquez should just ride off into the sunset. He's got the biggest win of his career finally and did it in emphatic fashion. I know nothing about his finances but I'd like to think he has more than enough to live comfortably.

I watched Gatti/Ward a few months back after it was linked on here (probably by wandshogun) but I'd have the Marquez/Pacquiao series above that due to the caliber of fighters.

  2. Absolutely incredible fight! Must be a contender for greatest fight series of all time? I'm not as clued up on boxing from before the 90's but I'd have Pacquiao/Marquez above the Gatti/Ward series as my favourite. Mostly due to the fact that Manny and Marquez have been in the top 3 P4P rankings for the last few years in a lot of places.

Not watched the other 3 fights since the 3rd fight happened but plan on watching all four together and scoring the entire 42 rounds! (For what it's worth I think I have Marquez up a couple of rounds.) My ranking would be:

    1. First fight

    2. 4th fight

    3. 2nd fight

    4. 3rd fight.

  3. That's an interesting thread. Was amazed to read Mandy Flores talking about her 'Lipstick Slave'.

And that...is exactly right! He buys me a MAC lipstick every time I make him a custom video. He pays roughly $80 per video, and I just made him his 50th! That's $1500 just in lipstick ($6,000 for both) and he "gifts" me quite often from my wishlist, and pays me a "cum Tax" of $250 every time he cums while masturbating without permission. He's one of a kind, I never get random messages from him telling me how he wants to fuck my eye sockets or something. I have a couple others, but he is a true financial submissive, that is why I allowed him to meet with me. Good times :)

Some people really have more money than sense. But if I could be anyones Lipstick Slave I'd be Paige Turnahs.

  4. I'll raise you and say that on the right night, Wlad would knock Haye out cold. Vitali would do even worse to him.

Dunno why people continue to doubt the Klitschkos, especially when a joke like David Haye is concerned.

I think Hayes only chance at beating a Klitschko would be to take on Vitali now. He's 40 and has slowed down a lot in recent years so I'd probably favor Haye if that fight ever happened.

  5. Well done Kimi!!! Absolutely great race from start to finish and is up there with the race at Valencia with my favorite this year.

How good is Fernando Alonso? The car is probably the 3rd/4th fastest on the grid but he is always there or there abouts fighting for podium places. But unfortunately it just all seems to be falling into place for Vettel.

Quick comment on Lewis. I've never been a fan of him and always found him annoying but he's been driving really well this season and he seems to have lightened up and seems less "manufactured" since his move to Mercedes.

  6. Wasn't there talk of Shogun bulking up to heavyweight after the Coleman fight to eventually take on Fedor? If so that would have been an amazing fight. I don't doubt Fedor would have dominated and won but I could see Shogun having a few moments, landing some kicks and generally making it a fun fight before Fedor finished him on the ground.

  7. Do we think Lewis would have beaten Tyson if Mike had kept on the straight and narrow during the early 90s? Personally, I'd take Lewis 9 times out of 10 whenever they fought. Defensively he is too good, added to his reach advantage and his use of the jab I can't see any way for Iron Mike to have beaten him.

I'd even go as far to rank the Klitschko brothers above both and say they'd be top 5 all time. Dodgy to say due to who they've fought but I think they'd beat most of the top heavyweights of any era.

  8. For me, Alonso needs a couple more titles and I'll probably consider him on par with Prost and Schumi and above Senna.

I'm assuming everyone has seen the Senna documentary? If so what did you all think of it? I enjoyed it but the biased, one sided nature of it grated on me a bit. Schumacher is vilified for the crash at 60mph with Villeneuve (Telemetry shows Jacques probably wouldn't have made the corner with his banzai move) but Sennas 180mph crash is just brushed off as "Ayrton didn't enjoy winning the title like that".

  9. For me, Schumacher is the greatest F1 driver of all time. His comeback obviously hasn't been successful but it's been good watching a 40+ year old doing something he obviously loves for the joy rather than the statistics. I think he actually gained more fans in his second career than he did in his first, showing a more human side probably endeared him more than the "win at all costs" man of yesteryear.

Read an absolute nonsense column in the Daily Mirror which says he's only the 11th greatest driver of all time (behind Giles Villeneuve, Alonso and LEWIS HAMILTON amongst others.)

Michael Schumacher is hailed as a legend who won a staggering 91 Grands Prix.

The statistics, they say, speak volumes for his talent, speed, commitment and raw genius.

    Rubbish.

How many of those wins started from grid positions outside the top three rows?

    I

  10. Ricardo%20Arona_01.jpg

Arona would have been incredible in the UFC around 2006. His style was so suited to the cage and elbows I really believe he would have held the title at some point. Look at how he held Wanderlei, Henderson, Ninja, Lister and Sakuraba down on the mat almost effortlessly. I'm not exactly certain how the scoring of ADCC works but he's never had a point against him so, to quote Joe Rogan "His Jui Jitsu is top of the food chain".

For me, Sergei Kharitonov is a massive underachiever. When he came into PRIDE he massacred Ninja and Semmy Schilt then had an amazing fight with Big Nog which could have gone either way. Since then he seemed to just lose something, very lacklustre against Werdum then losing to Aleks and disappearing to fight journeymen. Came to America, beat Arlovski then lost quite easily to Barnett.

He was being billed as a threat to Fedor and, if he'd have continued to improve from around 2005, it would have been a great fight with a decent backstory (teaming together at Russian Top Team before Fedor left to form the Red Devil Fight Club).

  11. A thing that bugs me about the TV coverage of Button and Hamilton is the amount of screen time their dads get. If it's not Lewis' F1 expert dad being interviewed about everything it's constant shots of Jenson's dad with about 5 buttons undone on his shirt.

  12. I wouldn't exactly call him 'chinny' as he got hit with bombs in the 4th round and was still standing. His defence just isn't good enough. Whats the point in being so quick and not using it correctly? He just seems to want to prove to people that he can take a shot which he'd already proved in the Maidana and Peterson fights.

    No Mayweather fight then!

  13. Watched Seven for the first time in a long time and still absolutely love everything about it. Before I first saw this film I always had Brad Pitt down as just a pretty boy but this was the first time I was really impressed by his acting. Morgan Freeman was his usual great self. Loved how the whole film, bar the end, seemed to be set in the pissing rain, it gave the film a gritty, 'real' feel I think.

Of course, the ending is phenomenal and

it is reenacted with stuffed animals.

Then I finally got round to watching Taken. It's been on my 'To view' list for a good while and I regret not watching it ages ago. Starts off quite slow for the first 20 minutes and then really kicks into life for the next 50 minutes once Neeson gets that phonecall. From then he's just in complete John Matrix arse kicking mode and it's beautiful to watch.

Saw the trailer for the sequel and was quite disappointed that the dialogue, which I thought was great in the first film, seems to be exactly the same for the sequel. But I'll definitely be going to the cinema for that one.

  14. Is there a Mission:Impossible code? Watched all for of them lately and, for the most part, they're really good, fun movies. I have a hard-on for Tom Cruise so I'm probably a little bit biased though.

The first movie has the best storyline and the best scene (the bit where he has to hang down and use the computer). Jon Voight is in it which bumps it up slightly. I did laugh at the toy helicopter being used for the end scene though.

The second was apparently a mess to film with various walk outs and most of John Woos script ending up on the cutting room floor and it shows. Typical John Woo American movie though. Not much else to say.

I'm going to lump 3 and 4 together as they're both kind of the same. Basic plot with great scenes and stunts. I think I prefer 3 to 4 but will have to re-watch to know for sure. I know Cruise did the Dubai stunt in real life but did he do the Shanghai one for 3 as well?

    My M:I code is: 1,3,4,2

  15. Sorry I have to totally disagree with Big Nogs legacy staying the same. He's looked old and slow in every fight in the UFC barring the Couture fight. Herring should have beaten him, Sylvia was winning the stand up for 2 rounds (The same Sylvia used to discredit Fedor I may add),

Wanderlei knew he was on the way out so instead of acting like a lunatic, or "crazy man" as Cro Cop called him, like he did in Pride he's now mr. nice guy who gets embarrassed 3/4 of the time he fights now.

Dan Henderson would have beaten Sylvia and Arlovski :p

  16. Saw this on a Boxing forum recently, the name of the game is to list controversial opinions you have from the past in MMA. I will start.

    - If Cro Cop would have fought Fedor in late 2006, he would have beaten him

    - Fedor's prime was 2002-2005, his last great performance was against Cro Cop. Him vs Couture if it would have happened in 2007/2008 could have got either way. Lesnar would have beaten him in 2009.

No chance. Cro Cop in 2006 was no better than 2005. Fedor had his number. Hell, Josh Barnett was always better than Cro Cop and just didn't get the luck in 2 of his 3 fights.

Also, I think the Fedor that smashed Sylvia in 2008(?) was the last time we'd see him in his prime. I've only seen JDS throw as many punches as quickly as Fedor did that day. He looked trim, fast and embarrassed Sylvia long before Big Tim started to embarrass himself.

    Mine would be:

Shogun circa. 2005 beats Liddell/W.Silva/Rampage and any other LHW in their primes.

Gomi in 2005 beats BJ Penn.

Brock beats Mir if they ever have a 3rd match.

Rich Franklin and Forrest Griffin are nothing more than middle of the road fighters who will be forever over rated by the UFC.

If they fought around 2002-3 Sakuraba beats Matt Hughes.

Ricardo Arona would have been a beast at 205 if he'd have gone straight over and would have beaten most of the conteders.

Fedor would beat Henderson and Werdum in rematches if he would fight a bit cleverer. He wouldn't beat Big Foot though.

The PRIDE HW division is still better than the UFC could ever hope for.

    Alistair Overeem is a cheat.

    Chael Sonnen is a cheat.

I'd love to have Brittany Palmers babies.
