  1. Someone bought me a coffee.  Whaaaaa.

I’ll have to get off my Arse and do a 15 minute walk.  Whaaaaa.

I’ve got to get dressed.  Whaaaaaaa.

  2. This has saddened me.  One of my earliest happy memories is me and my dad sat watching the wrestling on a Saturday afternoon in hysterics as Adrian pranced round the ring, kissed the ref then pinched the arse of his opponent.  Only I. The later years did I discover what an incredible wrestler he was behind the act.  His match with Randy Savage was just vicious.  Great Wrestler, Great Character, rest in peace and thank you.

Just noticed the match that Lister bloke has posted above.  Thanks, that’s perfect.

Bought Horrified (American Monsters) on Prime Day and so had fun with that last weekend - a cooperative monster hunting game.

Received Barenpark as a present from one of my colleagues so we'll crack that out tomorrow.

I’ve got the Universal Monsters version and love it.  Fancy getting the American Monsters version as well.  I know it’s the same games, but Mothman looks cracking.

  4. Some of the best breakfasts I ever has were when I used to go out with my dad when he was a truck driver at the greasy spoon transport cafes.   Brought back a happy memory that.

He liked it so he put an onion ring on it.

Well in, Raiders. Made up for you.

Christ on a bike Frankie!  Snorted in the middle of Tesco reading this!

My friend is being 2 new games to us  tonight that I'm looking forward to trying.

In the footsteps of Darwin & Epic Tiny Dinosaurs

Tiny Epic Dinosaurs is great, but fucking awful solo which is why I’m trying to flog it on EBay.

Not sure whether this belongs here or in the Autism thread, but when I was out at the Geek Retreat with the Autistic socials group yesterday we spotted a game called Cortex Challenge. Lots of little puzzles to play against your friends, and some sensory cards as well with textures on to identify. Unfortunately they didn't have an open copy to play. I found it on Amazon for less than it was there, so we'll have it there for next time. Looks like it'll be ideal for us all.

We had a game of Scattergories as well, but started getting into arguments about the semantics of the categories.

I’d say probably both.  Here more about the game, but on the Autism thread more about how it’s helped or entertained you.

  7. Played Reign of Cthulhu, which is the Lovecraft themed Pandemic this morning.  Loved it.  Big fan of Pandemic anyway and this changes the system slightly but logically to fit the Mythos theme.  The board is gorgeous and really puts the theme forward, and the minis are great too.  Highly recommend this.
