  1. Hi all,

The following tracks are from my new projet/band 'Christopher Oranges' and will be featured on our future EP/album 'Absolutely Good'. Just so you know, we are a live group who record (me = bass) with Keys, guitars and obviously samplers and computer wizardness. Its a bit Electro Funk, Disco House, errmm, aye.

Firstly, i am sharing these for those who like creating remixes (as well as general promotion), we have several people messing around with them at the moment but the more ideas the better really. So if you fancy a crack, let me know.

    Anyway, heres the tracks:

  2. I wonder what he really said?

Considering the statement has clearly been edited to fuck, as i dont believe for one second that Haye can string so many words together in a single sitting, let alone in the correct order, with meaning.

    He is a tit.

  3. This whole thing is canny mental really, as mentioned above, the wrestling fan in me is also screaming 'work', probs because im an idiot, but you know, it smells of shit.. a bit.

10 points to them if it is a conconcted script as its created a massive buzz.

As soon as i have said the above out loud, i've realised that i sound like a fucking clown. Which makes the whole thing even more interesting.

  4. Morrison has almost never had his moments on the mic. The only time he has ever been slightly bearable when talking was during that short backstage skit with Laurinaitis on the first night he became Raw GM. He is utterly awful on the mic.

That time he ripped the piss out of Animal for Hawk being dead was pretty memorable.

Who'd have though at the break up of Miz/Morrison that Johnny would be the Marty Jannetty.

    Brilliant.

    The Bart Gunn

  5. Maybe you should tell the government where they can find it. Maybe down the back of settee, or under the car seats.

Or the 5th house they had antiques sent to.

    sorry, couldn't help it

  6. When all of this broke out, i never saw it as a politics game. It wasn't long before certain things started being thrown around though, mainly the ammount of insane racial comments posted quite openly accross the net.

Once that started, it became an open book for people to explain their points which obviously led to political discussion. What i hate and despise, is that this will casue so much political bullshit spin in the upcoming weeks from all sides of the political See Saw, politicians using it for party gain and favour. I think Cameron has been pretty cak during this and IMO has proved he does not have what it takes to run a country (just my opinion), but i dont need other party members trying to convince me that they could have done it better, using this horrible situation to their gain.

Which will clearly happen. It always does.

  7. you mean like Hazel Blears and Gerald Kaufman?

:) And the Ecclestone, Blunkett, Grange, Hewitt, Hoon, Byers, Mandelson and cash-for-access comments were all Labour related. I think the Tories got off lightly.

100% agree, he flogged everyone in fairness.

  8. Councils now threatening to evict people found to have been taking part in the riots, not much point really considering they will just be housed on some other sink estate.

How is this going to help anything?

"Lets kick them on the street, that will anger them"

  9. I don't wish to discuss the sociological/political side of this any further to be honest, because as bobbins said, although there are some on here who can engage in constructive discussion there are also a number who fail to be able to. I will stand by the fact that to ignore the factors leading up to this situation is incredibly short-sighted and will only do more harm than good in the long term. Also, I think that most of you are aware of where I am coming from on this issue - even if you don't agree with me.

As far as short-term solutions, which I have been asked about several times, I did post more than one suggestion. My main suggestion was to increase police numbers, which was done in London last night (not directly from my personal recommendation, I should add) and seemed to significantly quell the trouble there. Unfortunately other cities also experienced trouble - including Nottingham, where I live, where I witnessed hostility and vandalism from a number of youths. Again I will stress that I do not condone violence towards others or damage to others property and I was personally very angry at what I saw, and such blatant disregard for the safety of others. I understand that others are extremely angry also and that this anger will manifest in different ways and there will be many suggested solutions to quelling the trouble.

I also mentioned water cannons, however given the changing nature of the riots and the fact that few fires were set in London last night (which can be the dual purpose of a water cannon), and the fact that these are not large groups of people confined to one area, I now believe that this would not be of any help. I also strongly disagree with the use of baton rounds which can cause great injury and even fatalities, especially considering the young age of those involved.

I think you have spoken more sense than the majority on here, i'm not saying what your opposition said was always wrong, but i think that your points are completely valid and have struggled to disagree with the vast of your comments.

Your underlined comment is 100% correct, its the next question the government must fully tackle (i think the answer is fairly obvious, and generally ignored), to understand how to avoid this happening again. Problem is, when the cuts start to really take hold, the pondering of reasons could be too little too late.

  10. Thinking about other solutions what could help with the younger ones anyway.

What about having victims of crime come into school to give a talk about how crime ruined their life plus maybe even school trip to a prison and have some of the prisoners talk to them and show them their future if they decide to take up a life of crime even if it only discourages a small percentage of the ones who may of been heading that way it would be worth it.

Why not, i didn't realise that didn't already happpen.

  11. Why the hell i have waited until now to voice my daft opinion, i dont know. Feel free to ignore, its only pointing out the obvious and my arse hurts from sitting on this big spikey fence

To be honest, in terms of 'Scum or Poor', i didn't realise it wasn't 'a bit of both'.

From the footage i have seen on TV, there seem's to be a mixture of 'people sick of being at the bottom of society' and simply 'Lets go and smash some shite up'. From what i have read on here, it seem's that some people are trying to say that it's one way or the other. "They are all scum".. or.. "No, they are just poor".

I think smashing up peoples homes and businesses is pretty pathetic and the rest of society have the right to label you as 'scum'. At the same time, there is blatently an issue with the reasoning for taking to the streets in anger in the first place. Its clear that the majority of people causing problems are from deprived areas, its an uprising that has been allowed to happen. On top of that, its clealy obvious that there is a large selection of opportunistic people wanting some free stuff and want to kick off because, who's going to stop them.

The thing with David Cameron. Yes he was away, why the fuck was Clegg not available to make decissions then? (i know the humorous obvious answer) but seriously, whay the hell is a back up plan not in place for this kind of thing? especially when you have a vice PM!

Hypothetically, if these riots, were in fact some form of 'terrorist attack', would it be acceptable that measures wern't in order for such a situation? If Cameron was on holiday, would everyone be happy if fuck all happened and neither he, nor Clegg commented on the situation until 3-4 days later?

Reality is, this could have been sorted on night one, the vast majority of users on here seem to have agreed with that point earlier in the thread. Its the Governments fault that it didn't get sorted quickly, simple as that. Im not saying 'shoot everyone', because that is fucking mental, what i am saying is the clear point that there was clearly not enough coppers... the ARMY, NAVY, ANYONE who could add numbers to the police force SHOULD have been drafted in on night one not when its too late.

I have no idea why they wern't drafted in on night one, if that has been explained, sorry, i missed it. The only thing i could think of is that either, the government didn't want to make the call as they thought that the rioting would be over after the first night, or, they didn't want to make the call and decided to wait for Cameron to do so, after all, it would be on his head.

That last line is the main problem in my opinion, the government are too scared to make the call because they know they will be accountable in the aftermath. So they should be, but if you can't handle that kind of pressue, you should not be 'IN CHARGE OF A COUNTRY'. End of Rant.

Anyway, yeah completlely agree with the above posts, bar one or two complete bell ends who just love their fishing, its been a brilliant thread with some amazing info and debates. Its a shame its because of something as horrible as the riots. If only wrestling was as popular as riots.. ah well!

  12. Very odd night as i have been emailing a friend in croyden and it is much more a feeling of anger rather than fear. I can't see this lasting too long however

i wish i could agree, but then i think, if other cities start up, it will feed each city in to doing more harm.

Its either all gonna be over tomorrow, or it will go on for fucking yonks, it depends how its tackled i suppose. At the moment, yobs are getting 'free stuff', in their mind, why should the stop?

  13. If it's been going on since Saturday night, are they doing shifts or have the little fuckers not slept?

pro plus and lucozade from boots im guessing.
