  1. Yeah I noticed that but Rick mentioned they were MP3 versions of the shoots whereas I'm after the old editions of the videos which included matches.

I can't find them anywhere online even though a lot of the ones upto 98/99 included a bunch of matches interwoven into the interview.

    Cheers though

Probs worth making a classifieds post mate, if you already haven't, I'm sure you'll get a couple of replies. Nic Jackson might have some

  2. Does anyone know where you can get the old RF shoot videos which included matches in them as well? I remember buying a Vader one back in about 1998 which was on 2 videos and lasted about 8 hours

A certain poster above mentions he has a lot of shoots that he needs to dig out and will construct a list, I'd say that person is very trust worthy based on my last transactions. Read his post!

Edit- sorry mate, he's got mp3s, I'm guessing you want vids

  3. To be fair, your defo being pointlessly petty!

No, I'm being pointedly petty because you're talking wet, as is your wont. Saying "I've never seen any backstage info apart from shoot interviews, which I never heard about until I just searched wrestler names on Youtube" is bollocks when Youtube took off in about 2006 and you were a member here three years before that. I'd be very surprised if the 2003 version of the UKFF didn't have oodles of discussion about the latest newzsite and dirtsheet rumours. It probably had lads telling silly lies as well, and dickheads like me being petty and mocking the lies.

Your main point is sound. It's hypocritical of wrestlers to moan about dirtsheet gossip whilst doing gossip videos that will be promoted pretty much exclusively through the dirtsheets and bought only by the dirtsheet-reading fans. But there was no need at all to pretend you've been on wrestling forums since 2003 but somehow never encountered any backstage gossip until stumbling across shoot interviews on Youtube years later.

All in all, your still wrong mate. I did find about shoot interviews from google and YouTube, not from dirt sheets, i dont read them, and I do know for a fact that most of what I know is from shoot interviews, its far more rememberable, i choose to remember it as its straight from the horses mouth so to speak, not from reading dirt sheets, again I don't read them.

As pointed out in my last post, of course I have seen topics on here, as you pointed out in your highly professional investigation, I've been on here since 2003, check the post count too, not a massive poster/reader considering. I've never pretended I haven't read topics on here and pointed that out in the post before your last ramble.

Not all of us lie about trivial shite you know. Anyway, what the fuck, why am I even bothering to convince you? I don't really give that much of a shit, im just not fond of a random calling me a liar. It's like me claiming to know for a fact that you definatly force cakes up dogs, having never met you, your dogs or your cakes.

Now stop being daft, appreciate you at least agree with my point.

  4. I thought Big Vis came off really well in that PWD shoot. Love the guy and would welcome a comeback.

Agreed mate, loved the story he mentioned about vince wanting him to wear so a trunks only attire before he became big V. Won't give more away but found it really funny with good stories in general

  5. Yes, I'm sure all backstage info and rumours you've ever heard were from shoot interviews on Youtube when you signed up here in September 2003.

What is the point in this petty sarcasm on this forum?

The point of that petty sarcasm was to question why the lad was telling such a silly lie.

What's there to lie about you mentalist? I brought up the point due to me not reading dirt sheets, yes, I know what they are and choose not to bother with them, no I'm not a wrestling fountain of knowledge and would never claim to be, but any little bits of trivia I do know of come from shoot interviews or some of the bits I scan on here (which probs do come from sheets, granted) I don't however go looking for dirt in sheets, not really arsed if you believe it or not, most of what I think i know, or at least care to remember is from shoots vids and mp3's, and still stand by my point that they are just as much to blame for stories etc as Internet writers.

To be fair, your defo being pointlessly petty!

  6. I don't read any writers dirt sheets etc, the only 'back stage' info I know of is what I hear from shoot interviews.

How did you find out about shoot interviews in the first place? They don't advertise them on Raw usually.

Google and YouTube, typed a wrestlers name in to YouTube and saw a snippet of a shoot. Typed shoot interview with a name in to google and they are pretty easy to find.

  7. Massive shoot fan, last one I listened to was big vis, some cool info throughout.

One thing I have always thought about, when people in the biz have a dig at 'marks' and fans who think they are 'in the know', they tend to blame it on Internet writers and emags, strange how they never blame it on themselves, considering a large amount of them sell stories and info to shoot production teams.

I don't read any writers dirt sheets etc, the only 'back stage' info I know of is what I hear from shoot interviews.

Anyway, yeah shoots are cool, get the odd dud now and again

  8. I love Stewart Lee. The best stand up without a doubt.. So good he's kinda put me off other stand ups. I just feel like no one else is trying or thinking hard enough compared to him.

    ditto chest!

  9. Any love for the Galactic Cowboys in here?

I found these lot because of the film Airheads, they are playing a gig and in the film use the name of "Sons of Thunder"... they start playing a song with the lyrics "Dont Hate me", from a song called "dont hate me because i am beautiful". I was trying to find that particular song for bloody ages only to find out that it has never been released and that 8 second clip of the song (on airheads) is the only actual recording of the song, nothing else.

No idea how true that is as its a wiki statement, but it would make sense seeing as i cant find the bugger any where.

A couple of other things ive heard in the past, apparently back in the day when they were signed up, the lable had a choice to push METALLICA or Galactic Cowboys, they went with Metallica and the rest is history.

Apparently the lads in the band are all Christians but dont tie that to the band or music, you wouldnt really guess they are christians based on their music in other words.

    So yeah, any other fans?

  10. Not emotional by any means, but if you like footy at all, and like the idea of mental managers, watch the Layton orient doc called 'orient for a fiver' it's a short 2 part doc where a young student gets access to the locker room etc during games. Quite an amusing watch.

  13. If im not watching wrestling or the lass isnt watching tv i usually stick comedy on.

Whats been on in the last couple of weeks, i always stick one of the following on (or something like it) before i go to bed.

    The Thick of It

The Day today (vhs video 1)

Im Alan Partridge (vhs video 2)

    Time Trumpet

    Stewart Lee (stand up comedian)

    Saxondale...

I think you get the picture, generally Armando type stuff.

Me and friends had an all night messy seeion the weekend before last, some of us kept it to booze, the others.. well yeah. Anyway, around 7 in the morning, someone thought it would be a cracking idea to put Irreversible on, stupid nob.

theres a few things i want to see soon, such as 'the way back' or 'the way home'.. something like that, it looks like it could be quite good, anyone seen it? Without spoilers, is it worth a watch?

  14. Well chuffed Keith has been noticed, it not hard to notice him in fairness ;)

A proper top bloke, very good crack with fans (by that i mean me), not only a fountain of knowledge, but a great story teller too. Ive seen 4 or 5 of his matches live, and they were fantastic, full of emotion and made a lot of sense. Even at the last 101 show, he went outside on the balcony and chatted to fans, this is where i met Keith, we talked about my music producing and he gave me some good ideas about who to talk to, anyway, Prince walked past and Keith jumped straight back in to character. Great stuff.
