No surprise they are booing Cody.

Why on earth would you cheer for him when he's up against a character like the Final Boss.

People tend to cheer good guys.

    Insane concept, I know.

I really enjoyed the main event, it felt like a different level. Sami/Gunther was also great stuff. Enjoyed the show overall but the other matches were pretty disappointing.

Forget your dislike for live bands or The Final Boss flares, there was absolutely nothing worse than Johnny Cosplay and his mate coming out looking like DX shrank in the wash. Shit glow stick era DX at that; state of it.

Saturday Night Fever Era Rock AND Poundland DX can both get in the bin tbf.

Wonder if Seth turns heel on The Codester tonight.

This may be common knowledge to everyone else on here but it was a surprise to me; as I was watching RAW Homecoming from 2005 the other day on the network and there's a lad front and centre with a hatful of signs that he shows throughout the night and during the main event (John Cena v Eric Bischoff for the WWE Title) one of his many was CM Punk is the future.

During the Michaels/Angle Iron Man match there was "my myspace name is Nature Brad". That hit home how old the episode was because he was advertising myspace. Ian Rotter = king of hardcore. Matt Sydal of all fucking things. He had plenty of others as well.

    Ok.

I got to ask. What is the big deal with roman reigns. I struggle to really see it. I mean he's not the best wrestler. He's not the best talker. What is so good about him? Or is it just that he's marketable?

Hes a great wrestler and a good talker. And yes, he's marketable.

Fascinated to see the reaction to Cody here, especially night 2. Like initially he was still over like rover, and he is, but he has been getting a few boos recently and he does feel like a lot cooler than last year.

The Rock being how amazing he's been hasn't helped obviously, but when it comes down to it on Sunday night, and if he does win the belt, I really hope the WrestleMania fans are fully unified behind him and it's a proper insane baby face coronation.

It's a good point. Will they turn on him ala Cena or will he be as loved as ever. Time will tell. Hunter loves dominant heel title runs. Can he book a dominant face run? I'm not convinced.

Why has WrestleMania week just been slights at AEW? Rent free indeed. Also just a reminder the champion has had 9 matches since April 2023 and Big Kev and Scott routinely didn’t want to work at WCW and just took time off. What a chump.

Who cares, its hilarious.  Fans want 1997 again but cry when they get it. More of this please. No more "We're all friends and we support eachother" bollocks. Stir the pot, it makes for good tv!!

  7. When did people begin to see that Cena was gonna be THE guy? I wasn't on the newz sites at the time or message boards. Did people see him replacing brock even before brock left?

Zack Ryder getting pushed off the stage in a wheelchair made it all worth it.

Him rocking up in his wheelchair with roses to see his best mate in Cena snogging his mrs was top tier too.

I'm similar, but with an opposite outcome - he doesn't affect me, and it's clearly six of one and half a dozen of the other with him, but, aside from that brief "Best In The World" run in WWE, I've never been particularly bothered about him; I don't like him, and I don't hate him. I'm just not emotionally invested in the guy, and never have been - he was in

Consequently, I'm finding this stuff a bit tiresome. I find people's discussion of the drama interesting, but not the drama itself, odd as that might sound.

THE Blackburn Rovers. This video is a inside joke between me and my mate. We reference this all the time, HBK has a "distant" Relative. Doubt he's been to a Blackburn game in the last 29 years since this.

Agreed, but you can't be all 'talk to me, squash a beef' in a podcast and then drop that pearler. But then again you can, he's a millionaire grouch and I'm just a grouch.

They were best friends for almost twenty years. I'd imagine that falling out hurt way more than whatever The Bucks did to him.

Decent show, predictable, In a good way, end with Cody and then Roman coming back.

The night 2 card looks dreadful compared to night 1. 6 matches and one of them being Lashleys mob against Karrion Cross. Going to be a slog that show.

Always is for Night 2. Night 1 is the banger one, Night 2 is the "Oh ffs, why did I stay up for this?" one.

  12. Give me Phil and his mental ways over The Elite and Jungle Boy anyday. He's not justified to choke him out but Perry sounded like a spoiled Hollywood brat if Phil is to be believed.

I recently bought one for my daughters 12 year old brother, at one point he was collecting all the bottles. I handed it to him in public and he quickly hid it inside his jacket whilst worryingly telling me that Prime is cringe.

The youth are confusing. How is an energy drink cringe

I'm not sure if he would've done better in that JJ push, and I haven't seen much of his work outside WWF/E but I thought his 97 Lightweight work was great, as was his absolute shit heel character work with his Dad during that time period as well.

IMO he wasn't above mid card but he was entertaining enough.

Why didn't jerry like referencing that he had a son for years? Or was that something Mandela effect I'm experiencing.
