So Survivor Series is 2 weeks tomorrow and WWE, even by their lazy standards, have barely promoted the show.

I don't think they even class Survivors as one of the big PPVs anymore.  They were going to drop the whole event a few years back.

In my opinion the last decent Survivor Series was 2002 in MSG with the Elimination Chamber debut.

The only positive from this I can think of is Judy gets a few weeks of peace away from the daft cunt.

I bet she'll be voting for him to do the trials.

You need someone like Madeley in there to stir things up.  Can't be arsed to watch the show when they all get along.

They've sold less than 4,500 tickets for the Smackdown house show in Manchester next week.

Maybe the time has come to reduce ticket prices for the tours here.  Tickets for shows in America are half the price of the shows here sometimes.   I get it's more expensive to run shows here, but the prices are clearly putting people off (as well as the TV shows being poor).

Most fans in the UK probably don't think the price of the ticket is worth it these days because of lack of star power on the tours.

Back in the day some bought tickets for WWE without even keeping up with the TV shows, mainly because it was a good night out with a chance to see one or two big names live in person.

When they brought out the midget wearing Bret's face mask was better. Loads bought into the idea of Bret turning up that night, hot on the heels of Montreal.

I've worked every other Sunday for the past 5 years, and before that every week when I worked in retail. Do you hate retail workers Mab?

    No Sweep

By the way, I hope you get the upvotes that you're obviously trying for with that Mab shite again.

Yeah that whole thing really collapsed at a terrible time for AEW. I know i would've bought PPVs through my telly if they'd been available like they are on Sky Sports Box Office, and I imagine that probably applies for others too.

Just a matter of time before AEW have their own streaming service.

Where did you read that ITV aren't renewing?

There doesn't seem to be any definitive proof about this, but apparently this is the reason for them not airing Rampage.

Well Dynamite has just past the 2 year mark, so maybe ITV had originally signed a 3 yr deal.  As usual the ITV muppets don't seem to acknowledge any posts about AEW on social media.

  8. Just noticed that ITV are also showing the full 2 hour show of Dynamite instead of a highlight version on their main channel a couple of days after it's been on ITV4. It's in a graveyard slot, but still strange scheduling from a broadcaster that said they aren't going to renew their deal with AEW.

That show Outlaws on the iPlayer looks fascinating, but I think I'm only drawn to it because it's got Christopher Walken in it. Anybody watched it?

There's only 2 episodes available on iPlayer. I'll definitely give it a whirl over the weekend.

They can't. Mab probably deleted it himself by mistake.

Well they obviously can and did Sweep. Look it up on social media, seems a few have complained about the same thing.

Sky Cinema has it's own planner for films that you've recorded and downloaded.  Ever since they added the artwork for the films that you've recorded they have done this.  So they clearly know which films you've recorded.

  11. Yes you have to keep your subscription to Sky Cinema in order to watch your recordings from those movie channels, but certain titles have been deleted from the planner even if they've been recorded.   Doctor Sleep for example was deleted from the planner even though it was recorded not downloaded from On Demand.  Downloaded movies always get removed from planner on the date it expires. But now it seems Sky are starting to remove selected movies that's been recorded aswell.

I'm thinking more along the lines of never actually owning the film(despite "purchasing" it digitally), and the risk of the selling platform losing the rights and withdrawing it. I'm not sure if it has actually happened with movies/TV shows, but it has with music and ebooks which work on the same licensing basis.

Obviously, if Seph is happy to sail the pirate seas for his movies then he wouldn't have that issue...

Not sure about that, if you've purchased a movie or boxset it should be yours to keep regardless of rights.  It's a bit like Buy & Keep from Sky, if they no longer have the movie available to purchase, it'll still remain on your box.  Unlike Sky Cinema, once they lose the rights to the movie it automatically deletes from your planner even if you have recorded it.
