Yeah in the good old days the big games would come out on a Friday, but if you'd pre-ordered from Play / Amazon you'd sometimes get lucky and get it on the Wednesday or Thursday before release date.

I've been frantically searching my house for my copy of San Andreas, I completed it before but never 100%'d it. I mean to put this right to keep me occupied until GTA5.

A lack of something worth spending money on has always been a problem in GTA; let's hope what they've said with regards to recognising and fixing this is true.
I always loved buying up businesses and real estate in Vice City, the lack of that aspect has been missing since, although this 'buying expensive toys' comment is interesting, perhaps each character has their own house which you can customize and buy stuff for.

Also, the confirmation of both Mount Chiliad and BMX's frankly scares the crap out of me. Did you shit on these niggaz two times Dr. Hauser?

I feel stupid for not having thought of Adam Sandler when I wrote out my list, his last few movies make him well worthy of a place.
-
It's got to be a strange transition he's going through at the moment though, more so in the next few years. As a 15 year old boy it must have been fucking great to have all these 13, 14 year old girls going mental for him....but now he's what 18? 19? and 99% of his audience appears to still be 13 year old girls.
-
Exactly, for someone on the level of fame that he is you'd think his music, or at least one or two of his songs, would have really broken into popular culture in a huge way. With other currently megastar status pop acts like for example Lady Gaga, Rihanna or even One Direction they have songs that anyone from 5 to 80 would have heard at some point. Bieber fandom seems to live in a bubble that doesn't quite break into social consciousness.I've successfully avoided all his music and ever seeing him on telly and I haven't even really been trying that hard to do so.
-
Bieber is still a strange anomaly to me, like a practical joke that the entire world is playing on me. I'm constantly told he's one of the most famous people in the world, there's merch everywhere and Twitter is basically a Justin Bieber forum that allows other discussion occasionally. Yet I'm pretty sure I'm yet to hear one of his songs, or see him in an interview or on TV at all in fact.

Django Unchained - New Trailer
Â
Really can't wait for this. Di Caprio seems to be pulling off "rich, slave-owning cunt" pretty well. And good to see Sam Jackson in this trailer, don't believe his character was in the first one.

Been watching Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy on Netflix over the last few days.
Â
While Breaking Bad is good, it doesnt seem to have the grab that Sons of Anarchy does. I intend to just watch one episode of SOA but end up still sat there with it on 3 hours later.
Definitely, definitely stick with Breaking Bad. I'm coming towards the end of season 3 now and it's really stepped up a level, nearly into the same league as The Sopranos for me. I agree though that as great as it is, it doesn't have that same "must watch one more episode" feeling of something like 24.

This is good to see about Killing Me Softly. I'm going to see it tomorrow night.
Â
Also, has anyone heard about / tried the Cineworld Unlimited card exploit? I've heard that it can be used in conjunction with the Orange Wednesday offer, meaning someone with an Unlimited Card who is also on Orange can get a friend in for free. Going to try it tomorrow so I'll let you know if it works.

So it is fine and non-controversial for them to use war as entertainment for the young and others, with all the potential impact on their minds and perceptions about war and violenceÂ

those recent Photoshop threads can't be lost to time or server error. They must be backed up, put behind 4" thick glass and grade 2 listed.

Dead Cat turned into Remote Controlled Helicopter by Dutch Artist

I'm not sure what's funnier, the loving way he strokes it before take off, when he divebombs the cows, or when the Airwolf theme kicks in.

Seeing this lovely lady in Cambridge again tonight. Can't wait. I am a little bit in love with her.

Fuck off.

Â
Going to give Parks And Recreation a go today. Last time I tried a new Yank comedy it was It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and it was shit, so this had better be good or I'm going back to Porridge and Cheers.Â
You should probably watch a good show instead, be it American or British.
Â
Fucking hell! This is why I can't be arsed starting a new TV show, because I think I've picked one that is supposed to be great and then a dissenting voice that I more or less trust comes and tells me not to watch that.
Â
EDIT - Fuck it, going with another Butch recommendation and starting Trailer Park Boys.
Â
You were right the first time Gladders, go watch Parks and Rec, it's brilliant. Probably my favourite post Arrested Development comedy, the cast is so likeable. And Ron Swanson is probably the best sitcom character of any recent show.
Â
Also, how good is this series of The Thick of It so far? "What the fuck do you think this is? Tinker, tailer, soldier cunt?" is quite an incredible line.

Anyone watch Citizen Khan? What a load of shit it is.
Oh christ, yeah. I had the misfortune of catching an episode while I was on holiday and only had the 5 channels......makes Two Pints of Lager look well written. So it'll probably run for 10 series'

Without the luxury of elder brothers or sisters, my musical taste was left to fend for itself. Luckily Britpop came and sorted me out from '95 onwards. But my first single and first albums were

I really don't know how Ianucci keeps up the consistency, thought the episode was great, as has virtually the whole season of VEEP which I'm really getting into. As you say Mike, it'll be good to have Tucker back in it (especially seeing him in a different kind of role now) but the episode didn't suffer for not having him there.

It was used for a turn your phone off message. To the wonderful sounds of ELO's 'Telephone Line'

Is anyone else playing Rock Band Blitz? Came out a couple of days ago on PSN and Live Arcade.
Â
Loving it so far, it's nice to have that music game feeling without having to set up any of the instruments and stuff. Plus all the downloaded songs from the other Rock Band games are playable right from the off.
Â
It'll be better when I have a few friends playing it too as it's primarily a high-score driven game. So come on fuckers, go download it and lets Score War

I hate you all.

Stop it everyone! Episode 3 is great. GREAT!

Two shit films I don't care about being screened in a format I don't care about. Winner!
Close your eyes and ears during any 'romantic' scenes between Anakin and Padme, and Episode 3 is awesome. The last hour especially.

Has anyone gotten past the online mission yet where you need to take out police cars, then a riot can and then police motorbikes all in 2 minutes......ridiculously hard. I think that one's going to take some serious planning to have guys set up at different points, probably with need of a headset. Me and some guy had about 6 shots at it today.
