I hear from the WWEDVD.co.uk people that things were bad before the Network, let alone now.

I think thats also a combination of the quality of product and also that the new company aint that great.

 

I bought pretty much every release Silver Vision put out including every PPV. I would put an order through, on a whim, about 5pm and Id get the DVDs next morning. The customer service from you guys was 2nd to none. Silver Vision was always the cheapest place to get DVDs from too.

 

The website was a great place to visit too, you could tell the company was run by wrestling fans, thats why people miss it so much.

Yeah these are pretty much my memories too. Wish I'd have taken more advantage of the company whilst they were here.

Wimbledon is among the events that have to be offered live to channels available in 95% of home, which means anything Freeview now. The Open is category B, where only highlights have to be offered.

When you look at it how long can the BBC fund the Six Nations? That looks most at risk.

There was at one point talk of the Six Nations games involving Wales being protected in Wales.

 

Coming from a Welsh uni I can imagine how much uproar that would cause if those games were lost.

20 minutes in strolls Grandmaster Sexay with Scotty Too Hotty closely following. Major disappointment.

Was that in Live Lounge? I heard they were there tonight.

Yeah it was. Scotty looked really healthy, Lawler Jr. looked like a fucking lobster. Bloke looked like he was about to explode.

Why have they been in Cardiff for the past week? I know they did the appearance Monday in Walkabout but I've been scratching my head as to why else they've been here.

Sucks to hear about Grandmaster but it's easy to see why after the abuse he's put his body through.

It's a tool for downloading videos from streaming sites. Unlike most such tools, it works on subscription sites (those protected by user names and passwords), though only ones it specifically supports, which now includes NJPW World.

 

It's a bit fiddly as it's in a foreign language, but to use it:

 

Put your NJPW World username and password into the LOGIN and PASSWORD boxes.

Change the "Login" drop down menu from "Atresmedia" to "Njpwworld"

Cut and paste the URL from the NJPW World page with the video you want into the URL boxes

Click the magnifying glass button

Wait for it to find the video (there should only be one on NJPW pages) and confirm the download

Wait till its completely finished. It actually downloads dozens of little files (which it puts in a separate folder) and then combines them into a single MP4 file wherever you've set your download location.

 

It also works for WWE Network. This pic gives an idea of the process:

 

How safe and easy is this to use? As in, am I likely to be contacted by the FBI in the near future if I start using it?

You can cancel any time as far as I'm aware. I had it for less than a month.

Was there a particular reason for getting rid so quick? Or did you just want to see a particular show

Umm kind of a combination of things. I really wanted to see their big November show where Galloway faced Jester. But due to time constraints and the fact there is silence during entrances (sshouldn't be a big deal but it was annoying) I got rid of it.

Still an ICW fan though.

Just a quick heads up. I know some, including myself, were after the Bluetista figure that was posted last year. It's available at Smyths Toys for £17.99, part of the Elite 33 series. Just ordered mine, but like I say I know some other people mentioned wanting it

I don't collect anymore but that figure is the best they've released in YEARS.

 

Yeah it looks quite interesting, has a slight feel of The Returned about it. Let us know if it's any good- I'll be watching the Rumble in full at last.

I thought it was really good for an opening episode. It was nearly 2 hours though (minus ads) which I wasn't expecting. The landscape is pretty spectacular and they quickly established the characters, plot and tensions. It didn't move really quickly but it didn't drag either. The first hour passed pretty quickly I thought.

 

And failing that, there's full frontal nudity, male and female.

 

Am I the only one who can't stand the sight of Mick from This is England '86? He was in an episode of New Tricks as a minor character and made my skin crawl after that rape scene.

Got Fortitude recorded and have been really looking forward to it so hopefully it lives up to expectations. Michael Gambon is the man!

Totally agree with you about Mick, makes me feel really weird even thinking about that scene, it has to be one of the most powerful and shocking things I've ever seen on television. Coincidentally I actually bought This is England '86 on DVD the other day... Forgot all about that scene...

The no entrance music thing is what led me to ditch ICW On Demand after a while. They don't have it due to licensing fees. I'd assume NJPW have a huge budget compared to ICW though so its bloody annoying. Amazing how off putting having no entrance themes is.

Anyway, that's the first review I've read of yours! Good stuff, keep it going. I'm really enjoying NJPW at the moment. Looking forward to catching these shows.

The difference between Hart and Michaels is that Bret's reasons for being the way he is was down to the stroke he suffered. Shawn's is all through years of cocaine binges. Infact i've never read anything that suggests that Hart was a user. Bret and Owen always seemed clean cut.

Have you ever read Bret's book? He definitely enjoyed cocaine and boozing, just nowhere near the same scale as Michaels.

Movie 43 is the closest I've ever come to walking out of the cinema. Appalling film.

My girlfriend and mate are creaming over Not Another Teen Movie. I can't be the only person who's sat there in complete silence surely?

Out of curiosity how much do New Japan live events tend to cost?

Anybody have any clues as to how to solve these 2 problems whilst using a PS3 or anyone else had such issues?

 

On booting it up, it's quite common for the initial screen to just stay on the sunflower loading screen.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled it each time and that appears to sort it out, but I don't want to have to do that every day.

 

Also, another issue is, after reinstalling it, when I go on the Sign In page, after I've put my details in and click continue, literally nothing happens, it's almost like the continue link doesn't work. Really frustrating.

 

Any help would be appreciated!

Double check your Unblock US payment has gone through. Also check you're still logged in to Unblock US on your PS3 as this has been the cause for me before.
