You'll be telling me he was Fake Diesel next.

Wasn't he about to get the callup around the time he got his diagnosis?

British Strong Style came out to this a few times this year in places where their WWE UK "Ha! We're mates with Triple H!" association made them comedy bad guys. It was pretty funny.
I saw them at Attack 2 days before Progress Chapter 51 and the contrast was staggering. At Attack, they were comedy faces as you say. Doing his water spit, the Pedigree. You name it. That said, 2 of them are regulars for them. Pete being one of the main ones, so they're bound to go down well. Funny as anything. Then there was Progress and obviously they were despised as anything at the time. It was a huge laugh seeing Trent Seven smugly parading through the chairs after they screwed CCK over for the Tag Titles. They didn't use the theme at Attack though. They came out to Sledgehammer.

They actually had to tape it at the Impact Zone because that year, they focused a lot on travelling for most PPVs and the State Athletic Commision of South Carolina wouldn't let them do it.

They're building new stadiums all the time over there. There's a few over here that are 10-15 years old as well like Emirates, new Wembley, Olympic Stadium, Ethiad which they built for the Commonwealth Games turned 15. What others are in that timeframe?

I had a few albums, though I never was able to complete one when I was young. I did feel a sense of achievement getting at least one per page on the Lilo & Stitch one though. I remember one kid at school had tons of 2002 World Cup stickers, he brought his album with him and it was a carrier bag full because his Mum was able to get the boxes for a bargain or something like that. Can't remember the story, but we in the class spent a few lunch breaks and a seaside trip helping him out and finding the Needs among the Gots. I did help complete the China and Nigeria pages and also took a lot of his spares off his hands for mine which he was cool with. Which is odd since I've never really followed football. Although I watched the World Cup on an "If you can't beat them, join them." Basis. Never got any of the wrestling ones however.
I got last year's WWE one and completed it as a means of keeping me occupied. I set myself a challenge to finish the 2014 World Cup one which I pulled off. But I am never doing that ever again. Particularly that dissapointment you get when you open a packet and the first face that greats you is yet another one of some player from Uruguay you've never heard of. I once went for broke and ordered 10 packets off the rainforest online emporium when I had about 100 to go. Got them in 2 days. A week later however, I got another bit of post and another 10 packets. I let the seller know to be fair as it must have been some error and he said keep them with my compliments. Can't complain about that. The World Cup is going to go up to 48 teams soon enough. So I think people are going to need a second mortgage to finish those ones.
The trick I learned with the Topps albums (they do the WWE ones) is you can only order unlimited stickers once they've officially discontinued it. Just as well for me to do the rest of this year's WWE one as I could never find the stickers anywhere and I still have a load to get. Virtually the only places that sold them was one of the One Stops and both Sainsburys on different sides of town. But both are a fair walk. Whereas last year's, you could get everywhere. At least it'd be quicker, easier and cheaper as I have nowhere near as much as last time before I ordered my last few.

WWE Intermission I believe. I saw that one. Wasn't that London house show last year in September supposed to have been a special or something?

Impressive array of people who've had WWE tryouts in Manchester.

He's had enough stage names to fill a phone book, hasn't he?

Easy to give her something to do, no problem. A little short term feud to get her back into the groove after being out for so long. But beating Asuka just wouldn't work unlike her Post-Mania Raw debut.

Think Jushin Liger said he was calling it in a couple of years as well. He did his last BOSJ this year too.

Saw Spud had quietly left last night. I'll never forget going to Jokers Wild II in Birmingham and him stealing the show with his antics with Bully Ray and Earl Hebner bodyslamming him. One of the funniest things I've ever seen in person. I'm sure he'll find work no problem. He was utterly brilliant that night.

A little late on this one, but tt was front page in the morning, as it was a slow news day - then Catalonia declared independence.
It was also picked up by the Independent, the Telegraph, the NME, and probably a bunch of others.
The BBC one mentioned an allegation he asked a woman for nudes minutes after his statement which I reckon was what was the final nail in that coffin. What's the odds they've got a load of content they already filmed for the channel they'll have to scrap?

Looks like Jeff Jarrett has now checked into rehab. Wasn't his drinking problem why he took a leave of absence in the first place prior to officially going last week?

Hard to say, but i bet its at least some of the guys from 205 live, They have no merch, dont work ppvs much and probably dont have big contracts to begin with. Do they work house shows?
If a wwe superstar gets injured, am i right or wrong in thinking that they still are guaranteed to be paid the downside guarantee?
If so, then its a brave decision as that aint happening on the indys, though i am not sure how it would work should they obtain a TNA, ROH or NJPW contract
They do house shows. Enzo v Neville was billed for the Raw Tour in a couple of weeks, but I guess he'll likely be replaced by Kalisto. Seem to be cursed not to see Neville as he was billed last time I did a house show but then he injured his ankle in that match with Jericho where he shouted at the ref who didn't seem to spot it. And even when they do PPV, it's a Kickoff match most of the time. Be it for the title or a throwaway tag match. A look on CageMatch showed 6 Cruiserweight matches since HIAC last year (Alexander, Dorado & Sin Cara v Daivari, Gulak & Nese) I think Neville was the shot in the arm 205 Live needed, but does it seem every UK guy they have do at least one heel run? I can't think if they ever had a single Brit who was a consistent face in their time there.

Seems the word online going round is it's personal reasons. So that could be any number of issues there.

Could be that they where just looking for a good excuse to get rid of him and they found one with this incident. Its a shame as he came up with the List of jericho gimmick and im sure the pay was probably good too, hopefully he can make a killing on the indys
Puts me in mind of when they released Brad Maddox for saying "cocky pricks" in a house show or dark match promo. He seemed to go long periods without being used by that point anyway and that seemed an excuse to get rid of him.

I don't think it helps that they outsource their web admin to India. They had trouble in the past getting back control after it got hacked once.
-
Well. Hats off to them. The fact they sold this year's one on Weekend Tickets alone speaks volumes. I think this is going to be an interesting first day sale. First Wembley, now this. Certainly had the demand to need a bigger room.

Which Dr Death figure is it?
If it's Harold Shipman, I can only assume action figures of serial killers aren't a big market.

Bit of a WWE baby boom in process it seems. Maryse is expecting and Reby Hardy Tweeted she's expecting No.3 as well.

I have to admit, I do love that sort of piss-taking.
@Jon-Carr_92 - when was this?
After Bound For Glory 2015. It was stuff taped through the summer beforehand. Here's the Wikipedia entry to fill you in.

Remember the World Title Series tournament they cobbled together from old matches after Matt Hardy vacated the title after winning it due to an EC3 injunction due to Jeff getting involved in the match as guest ref and they had Austin Aries in it even though he'd left a while before that and Josh Matthews was on about "net nerds" questioning his status or something like that? This has sprung that to mind.

My Godfather was actually at that show. He didn't realise obviously, you don't hear the commentary. He was on the hard cam side, so didn't see him on it. Just another reminder for me that 90s kids will no longer be kids by the end of the year. Which is crazy to think about.

Those were £15 in the EuroStore. The only ones I ever got on there was a Dixie Carter one and Robbie E which was a random selection as part of a promotion they were doing with a shirt (your choice) I got the Gail Kim one, though I imagine it was a sneaky clearance sale while they were at it considering the limited range and an Impact cap. That was how much they sold them at the tours as well.
