Night Music is amazing; there's a ton of it on YouTube. Some of the craziest line-ups to ever grace a TV live music show; one episode in series two has Debbie Harry, Pere Ubu, Phillip Glass and Loudon Wainwright III, one has The Pixies and Sun Ra, and one has Conway Twitty performing next to The Residents. It's incredible.Â
Can't imagine how many times I've watched this.

Sanborn hosted Night Music, a great show that didn't last too long.

I'm a yank now, so that might color this:
1 — Amendment to the US constitution to clarify and modernize the 2nd Amendment, so people can't just go wandering around with guns every which way. I'm a bit more "pragmatic" now, I live in the countryside, so let farmers have their shotguns. Everyone else can go swivel, no handguns and automatic weapons for them.
2 — Borders become checkpoints. I think they're a good way for catching criminals, and that should be their only real function.
3 — Get gasoline burning vehicles off the road. Pour a ludicrous amount of money into electric vehicle development, and then ban the sales of gasoline vehicles.
4 — UBI. AI is going to put so many people out a job long term.
5 — Make it 1993 again, footballwise. That's the last time I was really, truly interested in the footer.

Had the day off on Tuesday, and took the opportunity to go try this little lunch spot, which I've driven past dozens of times. You know it's good, as it's part of a bunch of shops that include a dodgy convenience store, a tire place, and a smoke shop. Also, the parking lot is completely gravel, and it was packed.Â
Got the lunch special; fries, a drink, and a "fried chicken sandwich." I don't know who could make a sandwich of this, it was a massive fried chicken breast on a cob. I'll be going back.

Just had a "fight" with Hiccup. He's a big rawboned bastard of a cat, and loves to have a bit of a go. We were worried at first, because he starts huffing and puffing, but apparently that's a sound they make when they're absolutely having the best time.

Of course, I don't think that The Disco Song would have taken over the world.

Cheap 70s compilations absolutely knackered me in the 90s — I can't listen to the originals of some Badfinger/Marmalad/Dobie Gray songs, as they're far superior in quality, but they just don't give me that cheap nostalgia hit that I'm after.Â
For example, I can hear that this is inferior in every way to his original version in pretty much every way, but it just takes me back to listening to a 99p tape from the newsagents, playing Rings of Power on the Megadrive, and having not a care in the world.

It's just a mini album, but we had Twice's "Taste of Love" on in the car, and I was amazed by how shit this looks.

That chicken looks amazing.
It was absolutely blinding. I might get the chicken breader, and some of the BBQ sauce.
I might also get some apparel, so I can be a full kit wanker, but it's for a BBQ restaurant.
EDIT — just noticed they don't sell the breading online. They do have it in the store.

I went to that place in Brighton a couple of times, pre and post Gordon. Food the first time around was loads better.
Also met Cliff Richard outside of it - the friend I was with had been going on for years about how her uncle was in Cliff's touring band or something, and had shown me his wedding video. Cliff was there, and he told her off (she was about six years old) for being too shy to dance on the video. She told him "You were at my uncle Gary's wedding, you told me off for being shy!" and he looked at her, totally blank. Probably scared. I reckon she was never the same after that.

Had a knackering day, went to return our rental car, get our old number plate, and put a down payment on our new car, so we rewarded ourselves with barbecue at a local chain called Smithfield.
lovely hush puppies, tasty coleslaw (bit sweet tho), good bbq, amazing chicken. Potato salad was a bit too much like a dessert, weirdly.
