No. It isn't. Some things are really shit and ruins the rest of it.
Â
That's absurd. It's just like when a band does a cover of another bands song, and the fans of the original are going "OH MA GAWD, THEY RUINED THE SAWNG!".
Â
Bullshit. The original song is still there, not going anywhere. All your records and digital files of the song didn't all just turn into the newer version.
-
Undertaker and Kane used to set people/sets on fire and magically teleport everywhere. But that is more ridiculous than that gif.
Â
Â
Â
Totally seething with sarcasm of course. Nothing wrong with that spot when seen within the context of the match itself.
Â
But I've argued the toss with similar things on here so i'll just accept the flaming for standing up for these guys.
Â
Now Ted DiBiase's double rope rebound clothesline is truly something to discuss disust with.
-
Eddie Edwards has really florished over the past 18 months. In fact, ever since gaining his "Hi Eddie..." catchphrase on Kevin Steen's YouTube show, he has become even more entertaining. And he was trained by Killer Kowalski, so Trips will be all over him.

Incased the following in spoilers in regards to the Bret Hart book...
Â
Â
<-- click on 'spoiler' to show/hide the spoiler
A tad weird considering he ends the book stating his hatred for Shawn Michaels and how he will never forgive him. Look at him now. Makes Bret appear more shady in hindsight. Did he do the whole RAW angle with Shawn just for the money/exposure, or has he actually, genuinely forgiven Shawn? Makes the whole thing very grainy and kinda blurs Bret's integrity just a bit, regardless of the reasons for forgiving Shawn in the first place.

Went to a screening of The Room last night at Birmingham's Electric Cinema. It was the most fun i've ever had at a cinema. I highly recommend going to a screening near you, its a fantastic experience. I was in fits of laughter all 99 minutes due to the brilliant atmosphere, witty banter and all the shout-along lines. Definitely exceeds the hype.
-
I think I'm the only person that thought Batman and Robin was ace. But it was just so fucking silly, it was awesome!
Â
Â
Â
DEM NIPS.

Sami vs Antonio beat all of their previous indy encounters by far. The high spots were spaced out so the moments had time to breathe and settle in. Also you had a crowd who went from lukewarm in the opening fall to fucking nuclear by the third fall. Fucking awesome.
Â
This lived up to all the hype. Astounding.

Fun lil' ladder match between HBK and t'Dust. Fancam quality at its peak.

Cheers fella! Thats my payday sorted out!

I know this is a bit of a sprawling question but as a beginner (used to buy comics as a kid but stopped keeping up) what are some of the absolute must have graphic novels for Marvel and DC?
Â
I too would like in on this privvy information! I have a sudden yearning to explore graphic novels and the like. I've been told that Watchmen, V For Vendetta and The Dark Knight are must haves. I've also heard that there is a real good X-Men story as well, but all i know is that it heavily involves Jean Grey.
Â
Also, where are the best places to buy graphic novels? The prices at Waterstones and Forbidden Planet made my testicles twitch and my searches on Amazon and eBay are have yearned no better results. Any tips? Or am i just too tight with money?
-
Eh, i like him. His matches are never boring and he brings a 'big fight' atmosphere. He has his bad points and good points (like any wrestler), puts over anybody without question and enjoys the business. I've never really faulted the guy, at least not to the extent that some of you folks do.
-
Davey usually lands the move on the opponent's chest and uses the top rope to hault the majority of his momentum. However, London was sweating buckets so Davey slipped right off London's chest and jetted across his head. It wasn't Davey being wreckless; just an unfortunate accident.
-
Kyle O'Reilly and Davey Richards being shit
Â
Â
Taken out of context, it looks awful.
Â
However, the DDT is O'Reily's signature move that he then usually transitions into his front face lock submission finisher. Richards is simply avoiding/reversing O'Reily's attempt into one of his own signature moves (in this case, the Falcon Arrow into an armbar). Perfectly plausible, perfectly acceptable.

Watching the 'Best Of Raw & Smackdown 2011' DVD set and, whilst i'm thoroughly enjoying it, Micheal Cole's commentary is fucking atrocious during this period.
Â
Case in point, Alberto Del Rio vs Daniel Bryan, right after Alberto had won the title and Bryan had won MITB. The match is great but is fucked by Cole practically shouting over everyone else at the booth; shouting about how 'nerdy' Bryan is, shouting about how 'boring' Bryan is, shouting about how he doesn't support the good guys, calling out Booker T, using terms like 'babyface' and other insider lingo, never actually talking about the match in progress...just a highly annoying brat. And not in a 'heel' way but in an 'I genuinely dislike this man and want him off my screen' way.
-
If possible, both times. Or whichever is the most scandalous...
-
What was the deal with 1PW closing up shop? Was it the result of bad management or is their underlying drama to it all? I've seen snippets of things here and there but nothing substantial. I ask because i've came across a few DVD's going cheap and its made me a wee bit curious as to why it all ended so suddenly.
-
Awesome to see so much Chris Masters love! I thought he was fantastic and was on the A-line to do some good things. All they had to do was MAYBE (because what do i know) give him a better finisher (i.e. a move that isn't one of the starter holds in the WWF Attitude games). Even keep the 'Masterlock' and transition it into a full-nelson slam or a full-nelson face buster or a full-nelson suplex. The world's your fucking oyster, take ye pick.
Â
Carbomb is right; TNA are really missing out here. Christ, WWE is really missing out.
-
Making my way through the Elimination Chamber DVD set and i'm onto the '06 chamber. By fucking God, Chris Masters' entrance is all kinds of awesome. It's a shame he was on the juice and got himself outed; he could of really been something given the proper seasoning.

They let Generico keep his gimmick. Fuckin' A.
Â
I'd continue to keep fingers crossed, if I were you. It's not uncommon for developmental guys to make their first FCW/NXT house show appearances under either their old/real name, and in their usual gear, before changing by their 2nd/3rd. Ones that spring to mind are Paige first appearing as Saraya, and Xavier Woods in his Consequences Creed gear as Austin Watson (his real name, which led people to report he was going to be rushed to TV [well, NXT Redemption...] Percy Watson's brother).
Â
Not saying it's 100% certain he'll be repackaged, but I do think it's often a case of "Let's put this guy out there with something they're used to & see what they've got up close, then we can think about where we're going to go with them."
Â
Ah, now that makes sense. I originally thought that they were re-packaged straight away for their first NXT appearence. Apparently, Generico was only out there to accompany Brodus Clay to the ring which does offer more evidence for them just checking out how he reacts and interacts with a live audience.
-
They let Generico keep his gimmick. Fuckin' A.
-
What was Trent Acid's appeal? He seemed to have a following on the net in a decade ago, but I seem to remember him being sloppy as fuck and generally quite shit. But that was about 2005/06. Was he ever any good?
Â
He wasn't too bad in his 2001-2003 heyday. Solid indy guy with an actual gimmick and he looked like he'd seen the inside of a gym.

Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon Ladder Match from a house show a few months before WrestleMania X. Pretty awesome match, using a few of the same spots as the Mania one. Interestingly, Shawn and Razor are actually taller than the ladder.
Â
Great find, that was excellent. About 10 years ago (probably more), I saw a photo of these two fighting with a blue ladder in an issue of PowerSlam and i've always wondered what, and where, it was from.
