I wouldn't say fans didn't except Jericho as a main eventer / being world champion. When he "won" in April 2000 or whenever it was on Raw, the place went ape shit. Jericho was fresh and over back then. Then he had that blinding match with Rock at No Mercy a year or so later for the WCW world title which was a cluster fuck time when that "World" title meant very little. They promoted it as "Jericho winning the big one" which was damp at best. When he won the Undisputed title it came out of nowhere shortly after a heel turn and far removed from that episode of Raw, he had lost a tonne of momentum. His Wrestlemania was damp as fuck because he was a guy scooping up dog shit for the build whilst Hunter feuded with his wife. The fact that he and HHH then had a boring match in front of a burnt out crowd didn't help, especially when they had some brilliant matches a couple of years earlier.Â
Â
So in short: Jericho was booked like shit as Undisputed champ, and the fact that he wasn't performing at his best (and that he was roided to the gills probably didn't help, that and his shitty "fire" shirts which even by then had to be a year removed from the fashion senses of an idiot) didn't go well for him.

That looks well odd. Good luck to the bloke, he has balls to chase this goal.Â

I hate it when they mess with great music. Same with Bret Hart when he came back in 2010.Â
-
No, but you've gone on about him in the same manner a lot over the last few months so figured you probably did.Â
-
No what I meant was why do you listen to his podcast in general considering you state on page 2 you hate him, think he's a  hack etc. I think Kevin Smith is a cunt and he annoys me, therefore I don't listen to his podcast at all, never mind every week. Not having a pop, just interested.Â
-
Doesn't it?Â
-
On his interview with Paul Stanley, Jericho actually read out a tweet from Paul Stanley in the intro about Jericho. A full on mark out job.
Â
Why do you listen to his podcast if you think he's such a cunt?Â

At the end of the day he is a bit of a salesman. He hypes himself up too much at times. But as above, he does seem to have a good soul. If anything I'd say it's a case that he has over exposed himself lately what with all of the podcasts, books, wrestling returns, music shows... He does PR for all of this leaving us with a lot of Jericho. Perhaps too much. But he'd still be somebody I imagine you could neck a beer at a bar with and it be super fucking cool.

Fucking hell is Foley's daughter wooden in those Countdown shows she's done.
-
That Survivor Series was brilliant at the time, a great show from start to finish. Will have to watch it again now.Â
-
It actually does look like some form of cardboard / wooden belt. This all makes me respect the bloke a little more for what he was able to do with his life. Hats off.Â

Likes Pepsi, doesn't like Nazi's. Fair.Â

Yeah, he was doing the whole "def not Hurricane" thing.Â

Really? Now you mention it, I totally see the vibe. I lived the original Raid SO MUCH. The second not so much. I knew the Blair Witch director did one (or so I was told) and thought that may have been that one due to the ending shot, I thought it might have been a throw back of sorts.

VHS2 last night. Absolutely loved it. I liked the original and thought this was even better. The "cult" short was brilliant.Â

Just watched Stand by Me, one of my favourite films ever and easily one of the most re watchable IMO.Â

Reminds me of a less good version of...

Just noticed on tonight's Take Me Out one of the morons was coming down the lift to HBK's theme music. Surely ITV would've paid WWE for the use of it.
Â
And Shawn is actually trending on twitter just because of it.
Â
I'd love it if it were some sort of rights exchange to get some WOS on the NetworkÂ

Maybe he's taking about Rocky V.

Not enough talking robot.Â

No, I'm quite fond of Pictos.Â

When was the last time TNA or WWE ran their shows without either A) A main event stable and B) A heel authority figure? 1995 for WWE? TNA I don't think has ever gone without one or the other.Â
Â
For WWE, it'd be just before the Hart Foundation formed in 1997 wouldn't it? There may well have been points since then, but not many. Was there a time when the tweener laptop/babyface hosts were running Raw and Teddy Long was running Smackdown? Although probably Nexus or Legacy or something would have been about.
Â
Actually, when Foley was GM in 2000 might be it, after DX split up.
Â
Â
I had NOD down for 1996 and Camp Cornette. And Foley in 2000 had the McMahon / Helmsley era faction kicking around.Â

I like watching the early Raw's for the costumes and characters more than anything.Â
Crud is Jericho?

Has Jericho ever talked about his 2012 return and what he thinks of it? Looking back, it was confusing as fuck. I remember being excited the day he came back as a mute and intrigued to see where it was heading. But it didn't go anywhere. He talked about the end of the world at the Rumble and then he morphed into feuding with Punk over claims of copy catting. So why was he a mute for a month or so?Â
