  1. I think they should go back to the Houston Astrodome, and run with Taker challenging Cena for the belt. The atmosphere I imagine for Houston's favourite son going after one last reign while defending the streak against the top star of the last decade would be nuclear. Sod it, Austin as guest ref. I'd jizz in my pants for that one.

The only reason Austin should be ref is if both Taker and Cena are leaving the company following the match, and the fans decide to shit on the match. Austin's little reluctant smile is adorable.

  2. Tyson Kidd is a difficult one really. They've gave him a few pushes which haven't been that bad in all honesty. But is the bloke marketable?

The thing about being marketable is... you need to be marketed. Give him a catch phrase, slap it on a T-Shirt, give him a push, and his stuff will sell. When he qualified for MITB and he came out in that "Bank on the Kidd" shirt, for example. If he had won and was pushed - that shirt would be seen in crowds right now.

  3. Not sure how big a reaction she'd get though, unless she brought a bin to the ring with her with the old women's belt inside it and they decided to go back to that title.

Why would anyone give two fucks of a monkey's uncle's shit if she did that?

To appease three posters on Wrestling Classic board, maybe.

  4.

Matt Hardy calls in to Byte This with Lita on, a couple of days after that first time he ran in Raw and said "Adam" and "ROH" and all that. It's all just worked shooting at this point, but it's a fun listen anyway. Even in these (presumably pre-planned) circumstances, Hardy comes across as a loser.

Matt should have played the sympathy card, but he wasn't capable of pulling it off, and just came across as some sort of emo bitch. Instead of being like Bret Hart losing to Ted Dibiase at the end of the Survivor match where your heart went out to Bret and you wanted him to get back on his horse, you just felt uncomfortable with Matt, picturing writing ballads in his bedroom.

  5. Not exactly on topic but I thought it worth putting in here as it may apply to Xbox also in the future.

New Sony Patent Blocks Second Hand Games

What are peoples thoughts on this? I can understand from a developers point of view that they are losing money on second games, but, and this is purely speculation, they would be losing more money by pricing the end user out of purchasing the games.

Personally speaking I cannot afford to pay for brand new games. I rely on trade in to be able to buy the games that I want. As it stands it certainly looks like I won't be getting the new consoles when they arrive purely for this reason. People are going to be left with a shit ton of games they will never play. It seems a ridiculous idea.

It's been going this way for a while and I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner to be honest. The gaming industry for consoles is reaching a very odd era where you buy (as an Xbox owner, say) your XBLA to go on the Net you pay for, then you buy your game, you buy the new packs etc, it's all very expensive compared to getting Street Fighter 2 out of Argos for

  6. "Word is that besides special appearances on RAW and at live events, "Road Dogg" BG James and Billy Gunn as The New Age Outlaws will not be a regular team on WWE TV. James will continue to work as an agent while Gunn is likely headed to developmental to work with the new talents there." F4Wonline.com

That's not very good. I was thinking they may get another mini run.

That's what I was hoping for - but realistically - they would get themselves more over in a couple of weeks than any other team on the roster which I doubt they want.
