  1. The major visual with Trump from Mania 23 wasn't with Lashley, though. It was Austin stunning Trump at the end. If they show that, loads of Americans wil think it's either awesome that Trump got stunned, Trump supporters will be pissed off that he comes off looking weak. I'm just amazed Putin hasn't got it into a propaganda montage somewhere, whilst editing himself into the Hogan-at-Mania-3 role, bodyslamming Andre.

  2. As a few people on here know, I work at a University, and we've been having our Graduation ceremonies over the past few days. We have a noted Chancellor of my university, an incredibly well-known actor (for professional reasons, I can't name him - sorry!, but suffice to say he's a Hollywood, Oscar-winning chap), and he attends a handful of ceremonies each year, meets graduands and delivers a speech. So far, so good.

However, this year, he's been somewhat 'unique' in his behaviour. In no particular order, he has...:

Stood on a stage in a white linen suit and made a very big deal of putting on a pair of black gloves to shake people's hand.

In his speech, made an even bigger deal of removing said gloves, telling the congregation he was 'going to have a Michael Jackson moment' and threw to gloves into the audience, to no reaction other than mild revulsion at a pair of very sweaty gloves being hurled at them.

Introduced his speech by declaring that the graduands were 'the most beautiful graduates I've ever seen' and followed it up with 'If only I wasn't almost 70 and married!' to an audible gasp of horror, from the watching fathers and husbands who've just heard this.

Told the congregation that due to Brexit, we were 'going to have to trade with America and we'll all end up eating their ghastly food'.

Brought his dog with him, expecting it to be allowed to sit on the platform, despite this being rather an important day and definitely not 'Bring your dog to work day'

When a graduate of a different ethnic background than he crossed the stage, decided to go for a high-five rather than a handshake. Graduate ignored the five and just held his hand out for the shake.

I wish I were joking, I really do...

  3. With Exeter, who knows what will happen? We got rid of Paul Tisdale after 12 years of increasingly awful football and watched him flounce off to MK, taking our captain with him on a free, due to a questionable clause in his contract agreed by Paul Tisdale. We've replaced him with Matt Taylor, a club legend who's made some damned good signings. On paper, we have one of the strongest starting elevens in League 2. Massive feeling of transition going into this season, I'd be happy with a tilt at the play-offs again and avoiding the bottom half of the table.

On the plus side, we have more kids who are great coming through (Jack Sparkes is the next one) plus money from Brentford hopefully selling Ollie Watkins and Chelsea playing the God like genius that is Ethan Ampadu.. Who knows how we'll do this year?

I've seen in The Entertainer they have The New Day Booty-O's boxset they did where they're in their WrestleMania XXXII outfits minus the Dragonball Z armour. They had a sale on and they had them for £14:99 reduced from £34:99. I got one there and then. Very good deal. Worth having a check if you're near one.

Bit late to the party here, but my wife bought this very set for my birthday a few weeks back. The first wrestling action figures ever bought explicitly for me, aside from my Bossy from the UKFF Rumble earlier this year. Mrs Grecian has also banned me from buying any for myself, which is a bit of a shame as a vintage Tatanka off eBay looks very reasonbly priced...

  5. If I can chuck in a couple of recommendations...

American War by Omar El Akkad is worth reading. It's set in the future at the end of the second American Civil War, the level of intricate details in it are great.

Aravind Adiga's White Tiger. I only read it a couple of years ago, but it's stuck with me. Just brilliant.

  6. It's done on a case by case, depending on the medical condition and circumstances. My place usually goes in three month blocks, to take you through to the next exam board, but each university has their own criteria. Speak to your tutor or Student Support team, they can advise what happens at your institution.

  7. @SpursRiot2012 as someone who doesn't suffer from anxiety or depression but does know uni stuff, I apologise in advance if this comes across as me being flippant or belittling the condition in any way, it's not intended as such...

I suspect that wording is more aimed the people who do not have anxiety or depression, have delayed doing their work and now realise they're going to miss deadlines to hand stuff in. If you've not been to a doctor and have no medical evidence to support the claim of anxiety, it's difficult to prove or disprove that you have it, or have suffered to the extent it's affected your ability to do your work. My uni tends to give the benefit of the doubt in such cases, but if your uni has had a lot of people all claiming the same condition without any medical evidence, then the uni will clamp down on it. Such wording is it aimed at the people genuinely suffering, its aimed at deterring the people trying to get an easy extension.

Mark Rocco is allegedly a fourth generation wrestler, which is pretty mental considering the time period he was competing in, and that there are only a handful of other fourth generation wrestlers now that I can think of - one of the Rougeaus, and Dave Finlay Jr are the only two that come to mind, though I assume there must be one or two in Lucha, at least.

Isn't Shane O'Mac fourth generation too? Or would he not count as his family tree is more promoters than actual wrestlers?

  9. My tolerance to stuff has decreased as I've got older. The scene in Jackass where Tony Hawks (I think it was him) got one of the regular crew to drink horse spunk for money was the cue for me to turn it off.

Also City of God, and the sheer terror in the eyes of the little kid gang when one got shot in the foot, the crying... There's no way that was being acted, couldn't watch it.

  10. I like Kofi. He's got an innate likeability that most guys on the roster would absolutely kill for, and he's usually good fun to watch. I really liked him as a heel in New Day (something I didn't think he could actually pull off), he's done some pretty cool stuff, and he's one of my favourite guys to watch. He'll never pull of a Meltzer ***** match, but he's fun to watch, and I much prefer him to most of the WWE midcard.

  11. A guy in my office is known for talking utter gibberish. To amuse myself, I've been noting down some stuff he's said today, taken completely out of context. For no good reason, here's a few examples...:

If someone asked me how many windows are on my house, I’ve got no idea

In the evening, he eats a whole roast beef, with custard on it, before going to bed with an unappealing wife and having rubbish sex. There you go, that’s the English for you.

All I wanted to know was what the time was, and I had a school chair chucked at me

As long as the hair is theatrical…

But you have to know, in constructive terms, what makes a successful business, and not necessarily just turn up, state the bleeding obvious, and just wander off

Being anxious means to be human.

I spent over 800 quid on a coat. I’ve never worn it. It’s in a bag in my wardrobe.

His dad was the go-to guy if you wanted a fat, useless, chump.

It’s a party, just for him. He’s sat on a toadstool, with a member of staff dressed as a clown, prodding him

It’s got yogurt in its feet

I took my boy to a Build-a-Bear party. You build the bear. And then you just go home. That was it.

Opera. It’s just poncing about in Italian

  12. No micro transactions that I can remember, but you can buy extra dlc with new cars and tracks though. The base game is pretty good, and gets harder as you go. There is online multiplayer, I can't remember if there's local or not.
