Man, Paul Bearer really loves WOW.

Not an idiot at work...anymore...but it's actually my girlfriend who I used to work with a couple of years ago, she comes out with some real crackers.

 

Watching UFC one time and Stitch comes onto the screen:

On holiday in Egypt we walk past a shop called ''Africa Mini-Mart'' with three local guys sat outside it, she looks at the shop, looks at me, looks back at the shop then back at me with a smug look on her face and goes;

 

''Africa Mini-Mart?....clearly not when they're all Egyptian!''

 

Just the other night after me teasing her about her funny comments she was laughing at herself but jokingly said...

 

''you better be careful else you're gonna get T-K-F-O!''

 

Her reaction to me suggesting we took a drive down to Loch Lomond then had some lunch;

 

Her: ''yeah that sounds good, I just hope the monster doesn't have me for lunch''

Me: ''what monster?''

Her: ''errrrr....the Loch Ness Monster stupid!''

Me: ''what, in Loch Lomond?''

Her: ''yeah, is that not where he lives?''

 

 

She has said a million more but that's the main ones that I can think of just now.

The ones that I can remember that stick in my mind would be:

 

Steve Ogrizovic the ex Coventry City goalkeeper that someone else mentioned before, I played in one of the end of season games at The Ricoh Arena as my mate worked at the stadium and ''Oggy'' was playing centre back in the opposite team from me. About 20 minutes into the first half I had ghosted past him a few times as I was playing upfront then just outside the box I dropped my shoulder to go past him and he just swiped my two legs from underneath me....it was a friendly game and I was about 20 at time so I thought it was a bit shit then he never even bothered to apologise. Bit of a twat.

 

Johnny Vaughan, I was massive fan of The Big Breakfast when I was a kid and watched it every morning getting ready for school then I saw him in the airport waiting for a flight to LA and was very reluctant to go and say hello just incase he was a dick because I thought he seemed like the nicest bloke ever on TV and didn't really want that to not be true...but I went over and he was sound as fuck. Happy to have a chat with me and posed for a photo, went outside whilst my mate was having a fag later on and he was there chatting away to a couple of the airport staff, really friendly guy.

 

Carlito, I was in LA for WM21 and also went to PWG Allstar Weekend - the original and Carlito was at the show in a suit and tie just hanging around outside, when I went outside during the interval I spoke to him and asked for a photo but I had left my phone inside, I said to him what had happened and he said he would wait outside while I went back in to get it, so I thought he would probably have fucked off by the time I came back but soon as I came back out he excused himself from speaking to the guys around him and came back over to pose for a photo with me, top bloke.

 

Steve Corino, someone else who I was really worried would be a cock but he was fucking quality, just a really nice bloke and very appreciative of the fans.

 

Colt Cabana, I don't think anyone could ever fault him, legend.

I heard a rumour that the new Doctor was going to be Paterson Joseph, who plays the excellent Alan Johnson in Peep Show.

 

One of my all time favourite characters from anything, up there with Apollo Creed.

The interview is cringe worthy but Bosh is great and has an awesome finisher. It was quite a moment when he won the BOLA.

Never actually been in a fight I dont think. I've been in a fighting "atmosphere" twice, both times I didn't touch the other guy, I just stood there, taking punches Don't know why, I just dont hit back unless I'm angry.

Stories like that always confuse me, a kid at work was telling me how one time at school he got nutted and just laughed at the kid and licked the blood, i was thinking, 'am i supposed to be impressed by you being a numptey?' in my opinion if someone hits you fucking bash their head in, else somebody else is going to hit you, i can never understand people who don't fight back.
