I love the feeling that the walls are closing in on The Elite. They've got Page, Kingston, Moxley, Kazarian, Penta and the Dark Order gunning for them and their cheating and shenanigans will only keep them safe for so long.

A member of Dark Order definitely needs to be sacrificed though. Evil Uno is the mouthpiece, I'd have The Elite absolutely murder him one week.

I've also been quite surprised as well so far that there's only mainly been the good brothers show up from impact considering there's the "forbidden door"

Callahan has shown up at dailys place but that was an impact match.

I'm surprised that a Moose or Callahan or anyone else from impact hasn't shown up to try and get revenge on omega and the elite at all as of yet

I don't think Kenny going to lose to anybody until after he drops the AEW belt to Page. Bound For Glory would be a good call, either to Moose or Josh Alexander? If imagine it'll be Elite nonsense at Slammiversary.

Agreed I've thought all along that aew wouldn't want their champion losing a belt while he is still their champion, I would love for Sammy to being it back but don't think he's the man for it, I still believe it will be moose who eventually beats him for it.

I think Deonnas opponent will be Laurel Van Ness. But I am very curious to who else they have signed too. I love how firing day for WWE becomes hiring day 90 days later for Impact, to be fair though I think that was also a similar theme back in the old TNA asylum days too.

This came up on one of those crappy adverts on FB:

Wrestling Character Collage Art | Hawaiian Shirt

I could quite happily purchase one of them, wouldn't have a clue when an appropriate time to wear it would be but still happily would get one.

How long ago was this week's impact taped? Omega was clean shaven "one night" after he was rocking his muttonstache on Dynamite.

Moose still feels like the biggest deal on the roster and a guy they should be building the company around.

Still some nice angles being built towards Slammiversary. Kimber Lee trying to get Susan to channel Su Young while she has no idea who she's talking about is interesting. Presumably it means Su Young Vs Deonna Purazzo at Slammiversary.

I'm still half expecting a Jordynne Grace heel turn?

Looks like we get an eight man tag either next week or on the go home show to set up for Ultimate X.

I just finished watching it and my first thought was how long ago it was filmed with omegas HHH handlebars

I would like to see su young make a return and it was nice the way Susan was confused to who su young was, hopefully it does pan out as su young v deonna

I thought that grace was gonna level out jazz if I'm honest, I was surprised when it was just the hug and that was it

I am looking forward to ultimate X, I want Alexander to keep the title, but I got a bad feeling they are going to put it on someone random just so they can make it seem like a big time title change, I feel that Alexander still has a lot to give the X division going forward and I think there's some classic matches there that Alexander could give us going forward.

A part of me would also like havoc and rosemary to have the knockout tag titles even if they lose them quickly I just wanna see them win it.

  5. Really enjoyed the show, thought it was a nice solid end to their run in dailys place

As stated above the video at the end was very well put together and showed how even though the company is new making a lot of mistakes at the start of the pandemic how far they have come and how the roster has changed in that time minus some of the regular faces a lot of the divisions have had lots of comings and goings for one reason or another, I'm hoping that they will be looking forward for their new chapter and build one what they have already done.

I would love a hangman feud with omega, but I'm wondering if it maybe a little soon, I always had in my head that Hangman would be the one to take the belt off omega.

  6. R.I.P Del Wilkes

Always felt like mentioned above the gimmick would have worked better in a slightly different era, always seemed solid enough in the ring.

Thoughts go out to his friends and family

I like how she acts when Scott D'Amore or anybody called her Su or Suzie. It's always going to be bubbling underneath the surface. I wonder whether she's going to snap at some point and end up wrestling Deonna Purazzo at Slammiversary.

I do like the sound of that, after the split from Deonna and the way that she was treated recently on impact that Su Young returns to fight Deonna.

Deonna is someone's work who i have thoroughly enjoyed through lockdown too, whenever shes competing i really enjoy her string technical and scientific style and feel that she is a good fit with the womens belt going forward, i would love for some cross over matches with her and britt or her and thunder rosa, never know maybe one day

After watching this week's Impact Wrestling I don't think Susan gets enough credit for the act that she manages to pull off.

Riggs has managed to create three completely different personalities in Su Yung, Suzie and Susan.

Such a gem to watch on TV each and every week. Will we ever see a return of Susie or The Undead Bride? I'd like to see it.

I have been thinking this for a while actually, she does amazing character work and seems to switch them very seamlessly she is definitely and interesting watch each week.

  9. I seen the video and honestly really wish i didnt, its so upsetting to see what this awful condition is doing to him and his surrounding family, awful thing for him and his family to go through, as stated above though it is nice to remember the better and more positive times too, he always seemed very solid in ring and someone who could always be depended upon and there can only ever be 1 main event for the first wrestlemania and to be fair he was there and that can never be taken away from him.

My thoughts are with him and his family and friends at this difficult and awful time

I’ve been rocking these bad boys now that they’ve finally dropped…………..in price. And by dropped in price I mean they’re not £300 on Stockx. I’ve also taken to wearing cut off’s and throwing packets of nuts at people.

Snap they are the exact same ones same colours also that I been wearing for the last few months, I love them and find them very comfy to be in, definatley makes being on my feet in work a lot so much easier.

If we leave tomorrow! That's a fine result for us though, we played several of our second string players in that fucking awful 343 false nine that Page likes when he doesn't start Moore and we kept the best team in the tournament (granted, they made 8 changes themselves) to one nil. It would have been worth taking HRK just for games like this to play as a stronger proper 9.

Touch wood, I'm hoping for the Quarters as we've nothing to fear from Finland and Russia. Denmark tend to fuck us though

Totally agree i think HRK would have been perfect for this game and in other matches to even come on later as a sub to offer us something different too,

  12. I enjoyed this past weeks edition of impact, wasnt expecting sabin to be the one to interrupt moose, i thought that it was another fine display by Josh alexander again, i really enjoy his work.

What did everyone think of Maclins debut?

agree above though that dreamer should not have been the one to come out as the "representative of anthem" but i did enjoy callous' reaction to be being fired

You'd have to have Dark Order members involved or there'd be no point in having it. See whether Erick Redbeard and TAFKA Braun Strowman are available. Cody and his lads exclusively contesting it would be a slap in the face.

I wouldn't mind seeing them do a tournament there in his honour, would love to see erick redbeard in it and winning it, however as stated above if it were to happen cody would be all over it

Not sure if thats it in the picture, i assume it is. No real issuen with it though, if you wrestled with real barbed wire wrapped around you, you wouldnt be getting much done.

Sandman's run in WCW was quality though. Some of the most entertaining mainstream promotion hardcore matches ever.

Fair play not as bad as I first imagined, thanks for sending the image in @Egg Shen

Fair point aswell, you wouldn't be getting much done with real barbed wire wrapped around you, feels like there's always something about WCW to find out for better or worse.

  15. The iron match was brilliant. I really am enjoying Josh Alexander's work at the minute and think he makes a brilliant X division champion.

Rohit has been improving lately aswell, at first I couldn't stand him and didn't see much in him but as soon as he won the X title a little while back he's been impressing me More and more each week, him and Jake something had a good match I thought.

I'm really interested to see how against all odds will play out they have built it up really well and I'm hoping they won't disappoint.

Also sign me up for some of the impact wrestling trading cards

Rumour is that NBC are looking to buy the whole thing for between 2-4 billion dollars. At least that's what the Cultaholic folks are reporting.

If NBC did purchase it and Vince cashed out, I wonder what the WWE would like going forward, despite his faults and borderline insanity Vince always put endless time and effort in the WWE from day one and built it to what it is, I do not see anyone from another background or even a wrestling background ever putting in half the time he does, would the people who purchased just see it as joke and something which is not taken seriously?

Think Hak was wrapped around in plastic barbed wire during his first few matches, usually on Thunder.

Wow I'm definatley gonna have to look this up, how bad did it look?
