Don’t know about anyone else, but it can’t be a coincidence that the run of four great shows following and including Slammiversary coincides with the return of a pretty hot live crowd.

I enjoyed Homecoming for what it was, exactly what an Impact Plus special should be really and felt like a change of pace from the weekly TV. Yet it still put the right people over.

That said, I don’t think it would have worked half as well in an empty arena, but the live crowd loved it and you can tell the wrestlers fed off that.

It almost had a house show feel, but that’s no bad thing for these quasi PPVs.

I’ve been more critical than anyone of Impact tapings in the past which made it look like the fans were bored shitless and sitting on their hands, but even 180 people in a Nashville studio is like night and day if they’re loud and engaged.

Cracking match between Josh Alexander and Black Taurus btw.

Completely agree and i loved the alexander and taurus match, i also thought that the right choice was made for the "homecoming king and queen"

overall an enjoyable and fun show

Impact being in front of fans was good. That piped in noise in a dead arena was starting to get a bit much.

Will Chris Bey get a finesse club t-shirt if he joins the Bullet Club? A team with Phantasmo if he's in town could make for some good matches on Impact as well.

Matt Striker looks an absolute state. Come back Josh.

Mixed tag tournament sounds like it could be fun.

They did a lot of promoting other companies' shows.

Josh Vs Kenny could be a heck of a match. I love when Don just steered Omega away from him.

Some decent tag matches. I don't know who's going to be challenging Dekay going forward. Do they wrestle Jordynne & Rachael now?

Not a bad episode. Some interesting matches next week.

Sign me up to looking forward to Josh v Kenny and the way Don pushed him on as if to say to mess with him

Impact is continuing to deliver consistent and enjoyable show week after week after week

The only part I'm gutted with is that the good brothers got the belts back from VBD I really wished they would have kept them for longer.

  9. The two themes that i used in the past when I used to be on shows were:

    Clash - London calling

    Genesis - land of confusion

Can't listen to the songs in the same way again now 😂

I wonder how it's going to go when he has an opponent that isn't an enhancement guy.

Would be good if they had him starting to face people like Sam Beale etc to start with and him just go through him, could lead to fun a stare down with Myers and even Myers trying to train Beale up to take him down, but I do think he should start with going through the lower card and then the lower mid card, they can have an interesting prospect with him if they push him right.....

That Steve Maclin's a bloody big bloke isn't he?! Proper company of hosses this Impact lark!

I think he has some potential there dependant on what they decide to do with him, I love how he has been destroying jobbers and angrily talking smack during it, I hope they keep strong victories on him and start pushing him quite a bit, be good to see how far he could go.

  12. Fair play I loved and enjoyed that ppv

The crowd did make a huge difference and added to all of the matches

Do we think that omega will hold onto the belt until bound for glory and then they build up a challenger to finally take it off him in the main event?

With Bound for Glory at Vegas (Probably at the 1,200 capacity Sam's Town Casino), surely they need to try and induct Mike Tenay into the Hall of Fame?

If they do have omega to lose the belt in the main event I would love Tenay to be inducted and to call the main event, I would love Tenay just calling the new champion who finally dethrones omega, would feel huge for impact wrestling

I really loved the show though and big shout out to Rohit in the ultimate X match loved his attempts of climbing to be fair

  13. I'm looking forward to it tonight

What's everyone's predictions and who does everyone think may be showing up?

I think omega for the win

    Alexander winning

    Moose winning

Deonna winning but I'm absolutely clueless who will face her, would be nice being Britt baker

VBD keeping the belts hopefully with doering getting the win

Havoc and rosemary winning the women's tag

    W Morrissey winning

Cardona and the mystery I think will be Chelsea green and they will win I think

I have no idea who may show up as per their the world is changing ads but I'm sure they will add to an already entertaining roster

    I love Trent.

    Trents amazing fair play

I like Pillman Jr, and even think that Julia Hart adds to the look of the team, however there is something about Griff Garrison that i just cannot stand and get behind, im probably completely wrong but i keep feeling like hes attaching himself to Pillman Jr as a way to get himself in AEW. Theres just a vibe about him that i do not like at all.

Sure they couldn't time the show to save their lives. But take a bow Halloween Havoc 1998. What a beauty.

My first thought reading the topic title was this entrance set, absolutely loved it

everything from the pumpkin to the small graves either side and the large graves with the screens on, my idea of the best entrance set.

  16. Same as mentioned above they have been very consistent and decent shows and matches and angles going forward, i think they have a done a good job of building slammiversary, everything from the whole our world will change, to the x division match, to Deonna's surprise opponent (gutted i bought into the gail kim tease) and callahan and omega has a decent build too, genuinely looking forward to slammiversary

  17. Ive never played this before, but funnily enough me and a friend are looking to do a booking game on the same computer local coop as it were

We are looking to use todays rosters but do our own draft using todays talent and create our own companies, belts etc without any of the big companies being active in "our world"

Would this be a good game to do that with and if not would there be any recommendations what would be best for it?
