  1. Planet Hulk is being shown on Sky premiere at the moment. Only caught the last half hour. Seems to follow the comic series quite closely. Not overly keen on the art style used. Seems a little too much of a Manga influence in the art. Much preferred the look of Ultimate Avengers. Who does the animation and artwork for these Marvel animated films?

Quite enjoying Avengers:Earths Mightiest Heroes on Disney XD too. Hulk needs to be louder though.

  2. I'm thinking of getting a smart phone to replace my Razr. Want good battery life and web browsing. I'd rather not have an I phone. I have been impressed by the HTC range. The hero seems good and the HD2 looks and works fantastic. Anyone have any tips or suggestions. Not to keen on Nokias.

  3. Aside from that, Daytona USA has aged badly to be honest, although I'm sure the Japanese version is a more accurate arcade conversion anyway but the sound is just brilliantly Sega. Sega Rally pretty much same result as Daytona.

You couldn't be more wrong with that, Sega Rally is one of the greatest games ever and still stands up well today.

  4. I've just read Dark Regin: Hercules. Over a bit too quick. Enjoyed it though. Those Greek gods are strange beings. Eating their own children! Madness.

Have also read World War Hulk. Didn't feel the need to read Planet Hulk. Thought everything was covered quite well in World War Hulk.

  5. Playing Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen at the moment. Enjoying. IronHide is the most fun to play with. Love the Special ability he has. Allowing him to deploy remote turret gun that picks enemies off for you. Breakaway the Arielbot I find frustrating to play with. The otheres Prime , Bublebee and Ratchet are ok. Haven't tried the Decepticon missons yet.

  6. I've been reading HULK. The last two issues. Enjoying it. However there are two Hulk's a red one and the one we know and love. Some weird experiment created the red one. He's going around killing and hurting B-level heroes. Even broke hulk's arm. Can someone bring me up to speed on the back story please. I've just read the issue when Red Hulk slaps Thor around. Thanks in advance.

  7. This is probably a question that only Lister and a few others here have a chance of answering but does anyone remember a WWF game that was relaeased in 1990(?) which seemed more of a strategy game than the usual 'beat-em-up' wrestling games that are out there? I have no idea what format it was released on but I just remember the advert in WWF magazine where you seemed to book the matches and then watch 'play-by-play' commentary and screenshot images of the matches. I was totally fascinated by the whole concept but never got to play, or even see, it.

If anything it sounds like one of those VHS board games that were popular in the early 90's where you had to press play whenever someone landed on a certain square. Never heard of a WWF one but there seemed to be very little they didn't release back then, so it's more than possible.
No, it definitely was a 'computer' game. Like I said I have no idea what format that it was released on (PC? - too early?) but I am certain that it was never available in this country. I just recall the advert in WWF magaizine around the time of WrestleMania VI.
I seem to recall a PC game like this. Or perhaps it was Amstrad. I believe it was something to do with cards?Edit: It may be this bad boy.
I remember the ad in WWF magazine... I'm sure it was a PC game (or maybe it was an Amiga or Atari ST game).
I played this. On the Amiga. You had options either side of a central video screen. The options were various moves. When it was your turn you would select a move. Then the computer would decide whether or not you would gain the advantage in the match. Then a prerecorde bit of grainy video would play. I remember it being a match between Macho and Dibiase. Sound's rubbish and it was. Back then however it was fantastic to see video on the computer.
  8. Cheer'sWonder if we'll get a game for that? I'll never undersatnd why they sell machine's without games. Aside from the obvious money thing. Just seem's to make more sense for the machine to come with a game. Even if it's not AAA standard. At that price I will definetly get one. Will be annoyed of I am forced to fork out for a game aswell.I'd rather a second controller be my first purchase.

  9. A little off topic.Friday. Nintendo release the details of price for the Wii.Any inside info about? With PS3 not out until March I believe this will be Nintendo's christmas. I am definetly looking to get one. It look's so much fun. Rather than the standard fare we seem to be getting on the 360 and PS3. Nice graphics . However they do not seem to be much fun. The 360 has left me cold so far.
