The website says that Aston debuted a car today.

SS2 are showing the preview show at 1900 on Saturday.

Sundays live coverage begins at 1500 on SS3. In 3D too.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is this weekend. Sky are covering it live ,1500 SS3, and possibly ITV too. It's snuck up on me this year. Has anyone been before? From watching it on TV it looks an amazing event. Three days of Motorsport Nirvana. I really must book tickets for next year.

Would anyone reccomend going down at this late stage?

Really enjoyed most of that. That Seth Rollins reminded me of early CM Punk. Couldn't really take all that "I'm unique" stuff seriously. Still looking forward to his debut though.

The design and look of the venue was refreshing too. A mix of old school studio and house show, with a bit of Raw thrown in.

Ascension promo looked cool. I initially thought it was a Manager protege deal. Was surprised when they came out as a tag team. The roar that Ken does is cool. He must get through some Lockets.Will be interesting to see them develop.

Will definitely be watching again.

Sky Arts Ch 244 just showed an orchestral production called Video games live. Well worth keeping an eye out for. I only caught the last ten minutes or so.

My HTC Desire HD on Orange. Is doing a very weird thing. It refuses to send texts to certain people unless they are sent as part of a group text. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Have you got the latest firmware? As in the one which was released a month or so back? A lot of people complained about GPS issues (I didn't have any myself) but claim it was fixed by the most recent firmware.

It's running Android 2.3.3. If anything the GPS worked better before the recent update.

Did some checking online. Downloaded an app called GPS status. Ran it. Navigation seems to be working fine now. Gets a GPS lock within a minute.

All the GPS status app seems to do is find the available satellites. Not quite sure what it has done to fix the problem.

I've got a Desire HD on Orange. Love the phone. Was trying to use the sat nav function the other day. Trying to get from Cov City Centre to Stoneleigh. The phone refused to get a GPS lock. Even when it did get one it lost it fairly quickly. This seems to be a recurring problem.

Anyone else experienced similar?

1707: The BBC apologises for a live interview on its news channel - broadcast on Tuesday - in which presenter Fiona Armstrong accused guest Darcus Howe of taking part in riots. The Corporation said it had not intended to show him any disrespect.

 

Here's the exchange between Mr Howe - a writer and presenter - and Ms Armstrong:

 

Armstrong: "You are not a stranger to riots yourself I understand, are you? You have taken part in them yourself."

 

Howe: "I have never taken part in a single riot. I've been part of demonstrations that ended up in a conflict. Stop accusing me of being a rioter and have some respect for an old West Indian Negro, because you wanted for me to get abusive. You just sound idiotic - have some respect."

I was watching that live. The presenter was totally taken to school by Mr Howe. She seemed to have no idea who she was dealing with. He certainly didn't make it easy for her though. He wasn't really interested in answering her questions. Was pushing his reading of the situation. Laying the blame at the feet of the poor relationship between the authorities and youth.

It was quite painful watching the presenter being crushed by Mr Howe.

Ok. That hardly means it's EDL territory. I'd imagine there is similar in every town and city. Which would make the whole of the country EDL territory. From the posts it seems they are about looking after the streets.

It only seems to be on the Sky platform. They are driving around Wolverhampton now. Got blanked by the police there.

On Sky News they were on and at least one of them had a sword even my Mum noted that.

I've not seen that. It's a little silly on that persons part. I can only imagine that brandishing a weapon like that could spoil the good intension.

There are groups of Sikhs doing their civic duty by protecting temples in Birmingham. I believe in Smethwick and West Brom. Footage has popped up on Sky News. More extensive footage can be seen on Sangat TV on ch 847. I don't believe anyone is wandering around with swords though. The footage certainly doesn't support that claim.

They only seem to be showing the season premier. Which was, what: 5 or 6 episodes? Disney XD just keep showing those episodes. It's a pain seeing as it's the closest a super hero cartoon has gotten to the sheer majesty of justice league unlimited

Been noticing a few issues with my Desire HD. Anyone having issues with the charging plug falling out a little too easily? Also the page that shoews your text messages in a flickable gallery. Seems to have gotten smaller all of a sudden. I'm sure it filled the screen more than it does now.

Similar thing seems to have happened with the bookmarks page. It only takes up half the screen. Ive not changed any settings.

These issues seem to have rectified themselves.
