  1. Sounds like a decent show.

TRIBUTE COUNT - Spiderman. And 'Brooklyn Brawler' Julio Torres is now just Brooklyn Brawler

I don't see how you call call either of those a tribute. Which wrestler is Spiderman a tribute to? And The Brooklyn Brawler just shares a name, he doesn't dress or act or wrestle like the WWE Brooklyn Brawler. I'm sure it's no coinicidence that they share a name, but if you look around you'll find loads of wrestlers share names throughout the world. And Spiderman was definetly not Jonny Storm, I'll assure you that. The 7 Foot Texas Monster you refer to may be Tiger Steele, who has been an AllStar regular for years.
  2. The Dart might be able to shed more light on Premier attendances - going up, or down?

Might I?????I've only ever been to 2 Premier shows, but they were both at the same venue, and there were less people there the 2nd time, about 150 in May, and about 130 in October....but in the same town last year and years before Premier ran an 800 seat venue which used to sell out, but then the attendance went down big time, so they moved to the smaller 175(ish?) capacity venue, and now they are not selling that out they have moved to a town just down the road which apparently is even smaller, but I won't found out until February.
  3. I too get very bored with Moj's perpetual problem with Allstar. Sure they do some things which may not have the fans best interests, but your beloved FWA didn't exactly make a good showing by announcing they would have an Xmas event, and then leave the line "big announcement coming soon" on their website for about 5 weeks. No one seemed to worry about that cos FWA can do no wrong in your eyes.It is a shame the attendance at most of Allstar's regular shows is down from what it was years ago, but that is not Dixon's entire fault. It is true that most of the time they don't really give the fans much reason to come back the next month, but their shows are 85% of the time better than FWA shows, as they have more variety and don't rely on "spot fests", and the wrestlers actually wrestle instead of doing ballet. The FWA may seem like the saviours of UK wrestling with cos they sell out 500 seat venues once every 6 or so weeks, I'd like to see them run 500 seat venues 3 or 4 times a week all year and see how much success they have then.Obviously I seem to be comparing FWA to Allstar for no reason, but it is cos Moj seems to think FWA can do no wrong, and it seems everytime "allstar" or "brian dixon" gets mentioned on here we get the same crap from him. Also:

I do agree with some of the crticism levelled at All Star in that it is rolling out the same sort of show it has done for numerous years without much new or exciting, as seph said no real way to connect with any of the wrestlers exvept those guys like Doug and Jonny who are nationally famous through FWA etc...

I can't see how you can say Doug and Jonny are nationally famous through the FWA when they work for Allstar all over the country all through the year and have been for longer than they have been for FWA. FWA on the other hand has done a handful of shows in the North in their 4 year history, and never done a show in Scotland or Northern Ireland like Allstar have.
