  1. QUOTE (MackemMan via PM) I'm surprised you haven't you heard of me; I write for wrestlenet.org, slamview.geocities.com and I do DVD reviews for spinneroony.tk, as well as my personal blog which gets over 15 hits per day. That made me laugh so much inside.

    That is hilarious!
  2. Once again this guy shows he just can't hack criticism. Just don't advertise your shows on a public discussion board if you're gonna cry everytime someone bad mouths your event or promotion. It happens to every promoter who uses this board as a promotional device and you don't see them having fanny attacks all the time. Get over it, and don't bother coming back!

  3. Sadly I don't have time to read through all of this. What I have read is interesting though, including what i wrote earlier about hoping teh FWA show fails miserably. That's not true, I hope it's a success, as long as British Wrestling is on TV there is hope, but I still think this is rubbish. For everyone saying "the FWA is the only UK promotion ready for TV"....that's not true at all, it's just the only company you know of that is.Less than 2 months ago there was one promotion that has been around for a few years now, who contacted the Wrestling Channel. The channel apparently told the company they were interested in showing their product on the television and to send them a tape of a TV quality show. Next week, the company spent 2 days recording shows and the next 6 weeks turning them into a TV show, only to read this. That is bollocks, and the blame is on the channel not the FWA.Apparently the guy running the channel doesn't have much experience in TV production and all that stuff, and I'm guessing he's just a rich kid who thought starting a channel would be the best way to get free tapes from all his favourite promotions.Let's now hope X Wrestling is a success and their show on Overload TV is decent and goes well, as many more people just casually flicking through the channels are gonna stop and watch something on channel 208 than 432.

  4. I can understand the FWA wanting to be Number One, but them signing a deal to be the only British fed on the channel for at least five years is complete bollocks. I had heard a rumour about this a few weeks ago and hoped it wasn't true. It's pretty much screwing any other promotion in the UK, and they are many who are as good as or better than the FWA, and the Wrestling Channel would have been the one thing they needed to go up to the next level, but this has screwed them all. I suppose "FWA Unsigned" (stupidest name for a show ever, on so many levels) might give non FWA wrestlers the chance to be on TV, but still.

  5. If this counts as an angle - Shane McMahon being able to do "coast to coast" but RVD not being allowed to, then Shane breaking Test's foot doing it in a match with RVD on his team.If that don't count then - Raj Ghosh joining the Family, very predictable, altho once he'd joined, it's alright.

  6. Without a doubt...Bradshaw.This thing he does with his hand that is supposed to represent drinking. A can isn't shaped like that, and you don't hold it like that either. What a twat shaped loser. And, all this I'm American and proud of it shit that he comes up with, maybe he should just threaten to rape (deliverence style) all French people then they wouldn't be a problem anymore.

  7. Now maybe you can stop the ridiculous 'MOJ just criticises everything about All Star because it's All Star' stuff, and just accept that:a - I watch pro wrestling.b - I then give my frank, unbiased opinions on the pro wrestling, both the positive and the negative aspects.c - Sometimes, said opinions conflict with yours.

There's a difference between going to a pro wrestling event and then giving your frank and honest (and informed) opinion on what you saw and replying to a post informing the readers of this forum about a major event that is coming up and repeating the same negative crap you always come out with for no reason other than you have some personal issues with Dixon (I think he probably bullied your dad at school or something). There's no need for it, although it does usually go into a great argument, which is always fun, which by the way......

Erm, I had a picture of myself in my .sig for six months last year, whilst I was winning big huge arguments with you much like this one.

You definetly did not win THIS argument. I've read the whole thing, and Whizzkid has made more sensible, knowledgable and most importantly factual points than you, which are not based around some personal vendetta. You have made one or two good points though, but the 90% of your other points have been proven wrong by not only Whizzkid, but others who actually know what they are talking about too.
  8. Sounds like a decent show.

TRIBUTE COUNT - Spiderman. And 'Brooklyn Brawler' Julio Torres is now just Brooklyn Brawler

I don't see how you call call either of those a tribute. Which wrestler is Spiderman a tribute to? And The Brooklyn Brawler just shares a name, he doesn't dress or act or wrestle like the WWE Brooklyn Brawler. I'm sure it's no coinicidence that they share a name, but if you look around you'll find loads of wrestlers share names throughout the world. And Spiderman was definetly not Jonny Storm, I'll assure you that. The 7 Foot Texas Monster you refer to may be Tiger Steele, who has been an AllStar regular for years.
