Doug is undoubtedly in my mind the better wrestler, but the whole "Pukka" gimmick has gone mental, especially in 1PW. If you look at the T-Shirts in a 1PW crowd there is a whole swathe of orange mother pukka's. I think Doug is the better wrestler but on the whole for entertainment this year I would have to go for Darren Burridge.

Well shit in a bag and punch it! As much as a like Spud I would never have rated him that highly. Don't get me wrong I am not knocking him at all, I really enjoy his work, but number 4 is a suprise to me.By my reckoning that means the 3 guys left are Storm, Burridge, and Williams. Lets see if I can get my bets wrong again. I think the top 3 will be:1. Darren Burridge2. Doug Williams3. Johnny Storm

If Jody is number 5 I bet Johnny Storm is number 4, because everyone seems to think of them together.

I respect your point and your opinion Dart, but how are the majority of UKFFers to judge them without seeing them work for other people than All Star? They are hardly encouraged to put on fantastic wrestling matches for ASW because the point of ASW is to sell merchandise, the wrestling is secondary. I have seen all of them work for ASW and they look like they all could be good wrestlers, but how would I know? It's because Mason, 2 Xtreme, Dynamite, Whiplash etc almost exclusively work only for ASW, and don't do many matches for internet type promotions. But anyone who knows anything knows that Mason, Dynamite, Whiplash and 2 Xtreme are in the Top 10 or 15 in the country, and because they aren't in the UKFF Top 50, doesn't mean anything. It's the UKFF 50, not the UK 50 !

I don't think Steve Grey is on the list of 50, so he would be unlikely.

Cake as a weapon you say, I don't find that suprising in the slightest. Cake has been used as a weapon against me for most of the last 30 years, and it seems to be winning.
He's done a couple of Playhouse Wrestlefests~! as well, including a murderific hardcore match with the UKP that used CAKE as a weapon!!, so I'd have voted for SOS had I actually got round to votingIf you mean wrestled for more promotions then look at the promotions SOS wrestled for. All Star, where the actual wrestling is of secondary importance to the number of foam fingers sold. MEW which is a joke, and BCW who it appears to me are the only promotion actually interested in the wrestling.

Didn't Devitt wrestle in Japan? I don't think Wales is further away than Japan, so how could SOS be the most travelled? If you mean wrestled for more promotions then look at the promotions SOS wrestled for. All Star, where the actual wrestling is of secondary importance to the number of foam fingers sold. MEW which is a joke, and BCW who it appears to me are the only promotion actually interested in the wrestling. But as our north of the border brethren seem to have voted quite a lot in this it does not suprise me that a bit of celtic solidarity has shone through with the voting for SOS.I think it's the fact the SOS is probably the most travelled Irish wrestler, having did AllStar, MEW, BCW, and am I right in saying he did Wales recently??So therefore he is the one that people who voted.. have seen more of than any other Irish wrestler?

If any british woman deserves a mention in the list it would have to be Sweet Saraya.

Pictured left.

A fantastic wrestler who knows more about working the crowd than the majority of the list.
Â
So I would disagree that Knox deserves a mention.

Have you lost the final 33 somewhere UKHG?
-
Don't you always find thats the way it goes. If you go for any multiple bet you always fall that vital one short. I had 2 place pots last wednesday and I placed 10 horses out of 12, 5 on each placepot. One was pulled up on one selection and 1 came 3rd when only the top 2 counted. Bummer.I've had 3 winners on yankees the past 2 days, why is it that the 4th winner is seemingly impossible to get?

A couple of things about Bubblegum UKHG. First its Hubbabubbaville not land as far as I know, and I have said it enough times to know, and the northern part of RBW is now NBW and has been for a while. 'Gum is also one half of the NBW tag champs with Stixx and [$hill] You can see them defend the titles on 29th July at Notts County football ground against James Tighe and Kris Travis, doors 6pm start 6.30 [$hill] Sorry abou the $hill Anyway 'Gum is a great babyface and definately one of my favourite guys to watch live.

Someone went into the bookies in Stirling where my friend works yesterday and out

I have 50 quid on Sir Percy in the Derby tomorrow. Had it ante post before the 2000 Guineas at 12-1. Looked ok back then but biting my nails somewhat now.
-
Had the place pot up at Catterick today.
-
You may get a nice little shortlist but there are to many variables in the national. To much can go wrong over that distance with that many fences and horses.
-
It's more of a lottery than a horse race, don't bet on it.
-
Just one winner today. Hazeljack in the 2.55 at Fontwell. The bookies I was in had someone tricast that race and win just over 5 grand for a 50p tricast. Jammy bastard
-
I didn't include the draw.Three horse race if you want to include the draw.
-
Had Discreet Cat to win at 2's but that wasn't that difficult to pick to be honest. Didn't really fancy anything else but as I read through the races at work it seemed to me that a lot of horses with Jack in the name were running. So I had Fisherman Jack, Jack's Craic, and Jack The Giant in a 50p round robin. Fisherman Jack won at 15-2, Jack's Craic won at 4-1, and Jack The Giant was a non runner. So my

A great way for the turf flat racing season to begin. A 1-6 favourite getting beat in the first race.
-
Had a cheeky little win on Haloo Baloo in the 2.50 at Exeter at 14-1. Not a bad day again.
-
Went to Uttoxeter races yesterday as part of a stag do. First three races nothing and 80 quid down. Anyway 4th race there is a horse running called Simon, and as that is the name of the stag 20 pounds to win at 16-1 was wagered. It then promptly came in so bingo 240 quid up. Thank god his mum and dad didn't call him Terry.

Not today mate.Ruby Walsh had the first winner of the meeting on Tuesday and has had the last on Desert Quest. A good day for the Irish apart from Beef or Salmonspudmaster in the last race-5/1 show be a good showing from the lad

Good work HG. An entertaining and informative read. I don't suppose you have last years 50 anywhere for comparison do you?
