  1. I know I bring them up all the time, and I will again but I think the Celtics might just nab him now. The RealGm Celtics board which normally is depressingly negative seems to be in with the idea we could do it.

    Few factors to consider:

    - KD supposedly loves Brady, thinks hes a guy he genuinely looks up to, has a huge admiration for. Us bringing him in, supposedly having him on the meeting telling KD he can come and be the next biggest all time great in Boston could be huge. He also loves the Bird to...

    - There's also exactly that last point, KD can go to GS and be a star, but is he gonna be the man? Idk but at the Celtics he's gonna be 'the guy.' It's gonna be his team.

    - The east is easier to get into the finals than the West, if KD comes were arguably the 2nd best team in the East and could give the Cavs a run for there money, we've also got those Nets picks and a solid core of young developing players that KD/Horford could easily help develop, guys like Crowder/Jerebko/Hunter.

    - Plus it's Boston, one of the greatest sports teams for fans ever.

Probably Jinxed it mind now, I'd love KD here, last thing I want is him going to GS though. That'd just be unfair.

I reckon he moves though, to us or elsewhere, I just can't see him doing another round at this crazy meetings of 4 hours business next summer.

  2. Knicks making some good moves for the next two years, I'd say, Lee's another good addition, but there only getting these deals done on the basis of overpaid, lengthy contract and that kinda goes back to what we were saying earlier though, it really doesn't bode well for building a team in the future either capable of bringing home a championship or leaving you with valuable assets to make plays with in the trade market.

KDs decision coming by tomorrow night supposedly, Clippers have been told he's not signing with them, Miami meeting is tonight but leaves very little time if he plans on making a decision tomorrow.

  3. I dont think it will change KDs direction but thats exactly the sort off move they need

I'm not to sure now, if I was a betting man it'd be sticking with OKC, but the fact we pulled out all the stops during the interview in Brady etc and the timing of this being announced literally minutes after our meeting with KD took place leaves things open IMO.

  4. Pretty much looks like the Hawks are moving Horford or Millsap off to accommodate the alternate via cap space. Supposedly the Celtics meeting with Horford went well last night and we laid out a 4 year max deal to him, here's hoping it's not been announced yet as he's off on the plane with Danny trying to convince KD to come to the land of the Green. Who knows there though.

    The other deals then;

-Noah on four years is crazy to me. Especially at that money.

-Jeff Green/Orlando is completely unexplainable didn't they just get rid of someone miles better in that position Green plays? For what?

-Motivated non-argumentative Rondo is still super. I still rate Rondo if he could just quit moaning he'd still be a sought after player IMO. Guy can still go, could work at Chicago I guess, there a good but not great team.

  5. Do we think Bosh will be back? I'm guessing they are waiting for further medical opinions? It's all been strangely quiet and it's odd since he's tying up so much of their cap at the moment.

Regarding the Lakers...I think it's telling that they are not big players anymore...at the moment, anyway. I don't think it's an attractive destination anymore. It's going to be a process for them. They'll be better this year, so hopefully they can make some good moves next off-season.

    PM'd you about SC.

Think the stuff you spoke about LA is telling, the clippers are tempting KD with being "the man in LA" now Kobes done and Lakers aren't signing big names. Although there was some glimpses of the Lakers showing some nice early development signs throughout this season, no matter how small they may be.

  6.

Hope the C's stay away from Dwight unless it's a 1 year deal and we're not getting Horford/Durant.

I kinda hope they do sign him, purely to stick it to Bill Simmons after he ripped the Knicks this week! :D

Shouldn't be bitter about Bill preaching the truth Art!

Watching Sports Centre for the past few hours on and off, I really love this KD deal, it's so intriguing. To a point there's a few teams each with there own pros and cons for him to sign that really could potentially throw a spanner.

  7. Nets doing whatever they can to get out of there rut mind. Theres been a fair few suggestions floating about there looking to bolster there teams in a similar Manor to the Knicks. Bringing in mostly Veterans. I'm all for watching those teams when I'm not watching mine mind, it's like watching your United's/Chelsea's in football here. You do it because of the names.

  8. Yeah Whiteside seemed to have a few options available to.

Is that Knicks team good enough to take you guys to the playoffs realistically? Even if all four of those rarely play together, I'm struggling to see what your plans are. They're certainly not gonna win you a championship and it isn't building towards the future.. Then again that's pretty much what you just summed up!

  9. Supposedly has a meeting with the same day Celtics meet KD. So gonna be interesting to see what comes there.

Wizards are a really funny team IMO I actually really enjoy watching them. Gonna be interesting to see how they come out post summer. Could be a fair bit of stalling there if plans fall.

  10.

Anyone on here plan on catching summer league games?

Yup! Got the new Apple TV (4th gen) and the League Pass update has been given an awesome update today. Can't wait for Summer League!

Quite a few of the games are on at respectable times live here to which is always nice, seeing as other than my Magic and Celtics I sparsely watch other teams, any particular recommendation of teams to watch during summer league?

  11. As others have stated, depends what he wants to do. He has two rebuild options in Celtics and Lawers. The celtics have a better foundation IMO out the two if that's the route KD wants. Also can bring in Horford potentially if the rumors KD wants to go somewhere with him are true.

Anyone on here plan on catching summer league games?

  12. There was fairly strong rumors KD was interested in the Celtics option on the Celtics forums for what it's worth. Solid foundation of a team who are young and hungry but lack the experience and all star calibre player he'd bring. Also has some relations to the city I believe.

  13. Aj looked normal for the first time in his Pro career tonight. At least to me anyway. Opponent was incredibly durable but again poised very little danger. Anyone else find the fight a bit dull? Not sure why but the hype of seeing him KO unknowns relatively easy is becoming a bore to me.

  14. Had heard multiple sources claiming they'd seen Tyson out rather enjoying himself on the drinks side of things in the past few weeks, building up to the fight. Whether there true or not I don't know, but sounds plausible and would effect training.
