They're giving away tickets for free for Newcastle (well, there's a £2ish processing fee).

The same thing happened when Slayer played here a few years ago. That was good, I watched Obituary and Anthrax and was back in the pub by about 8pm.

I can see Yuta taking the pin but I'd be shocked and disappointed to see him removed from the group, he plays his role well. 

In primary and junior school we did a few trips to local Roman sites but nothing beyond that. At GCSE level it was all WW1/2 and America post-war. Definitely didn't cover the Troubles or anything else British.

I think Discipline Matthews used to tag with Punishment Martinez.

I saw Fozzy at a festival a few years ago and he mimed most of the set so I wouldn't be surprised if he did it again.

That rant has absolutely made my day. I used to work with a cunt like him, I swear my first thought when I got made redundant was "at least I'll never have to listen to that prick again".

Coronation chicken is great, but I got some coronation coleslaw from Aldi at the weekend and it went through me in no time. Another reason to abolish the monarchy.

Section 221. I can't see myself going to any other events of this scale this year so paid a bit more than I was intending.

Manorfest has gone tits up too, apparently announcing the cancellation publicly before telling any of the bands. Good week for UK festivals...

Sadly it has indeed gone. My pals in Byker Grave Bookings are currently working to put as many of the bands as possible on in Newcastle over the weekend so it's not a total loss!

I've never understood how Winterfylleth managed to get to the level they have without more people dredging up shit on them. They've covered their tracks pretty well, having friends in the press helps too I guess.

To balance it out Panopticon, Havukruunu and Nemorous are all left-far left leaning bands. @WyattSheepMask I'd recommend checking out those three and Ninkharsag, Wode and Abduction in particular.

Cosmic Void looks decent but I'm at another fest in Edinburgh that weekend!

There was an Ortiz promo on Rampage that indicated the spat with Eddie is still ongoing. Hopefully it leads to the return of Santana and either a tag or trios run.

Echoing the sentiment that that Dynamite was naff, I wasn't invested in any of it. This is the coldest AEW has felt to me.

I'm amazed Hammerfest/HRH have lasted this long, they've been shady as fuck since day one. I did enjoy the one fest of theirs that I went to though, Doom/Stoner in 2019.

They did still include that storyline, Ortiz ran in and ended up brawling to the back with Black, King and Sting.
