I too got hold of the new Maiden album. Surely they have done everything possible with tehir music now. Personally, I don't think they'll never top 'Brave New World'
-
Has anyone got a complete Brock Lesnar on WWE PPV compilation that they could do for me
-
if anyone caught Holy Grail at Download last month, their new album, 'Crisis In Utopia', is out later this year on Prosthetic Records
-
Ozzy has definately sill got it, and I've been a mark for Gus G for years, so its great to see them working together

It's a fuck-you-in-the-face trailer for Jericho's new game show "Downfall" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=td41c0Gk1Xg...player_embedded

The voiceover man reminds me of Black Snow.
Â
is it just me or does the voiceover sound like he should be doing the Powerthirst videos

Louis Theroux visits WCW (Part 1)
Â
never seen this before, so figured i'd post it for anyone else who hasn't

I've always thought the MK universe and awesome cornball mythology were wasted on the mediocre games, so a decent movie would be nice.
But they're not even using the mythology here, are they? Reptile's not a stealth warrior from a dying race, he's a harlequin baby... Baraka's not a general from an interdimensional army, he's a doctor who's stuck knives in his wrists... They're rewriting it all to be more "realistic," with seemingly no Outworld, no mystic powers or warring factions. They've stripped the MK mythology of everything beyond the most basic "someone called Scorpion hates someone called Sub-Zero" acknowledgements.
Â
kind of like with the Street fighter movie were they just skimed over the source material and turned into a story about one of the American charaters, who they then cast a Belgian to play the role. EPIC FAIL!

these people get on your bad side tiger?
Â
Reel is a shit cinema, screens are poxey
-
no, we go to either Cineworld or Vue
-
me and the misses went to see Death At A Funeral the other day, and we both loved it which is rare as its usually one of us likes and the other doesnt. James Marsden and Danny Glover are both great in it.
Â
I've heard alot of hype about Sons Of Anarchy, but have never seen it. Is it worth catching?
-
i seem to remeber the crowd popped megastyle when there was a takedown executed with about 4 seconds to go. that fight makes Anderson Silva's at UFC 112 look like a masterpiece in comparison
-
Put it this way I'd rather watch Saku-Gracie once a week for the rest of my life than have to sit through Shamrock-Gracie 2,Shamrock-Severn 2 or Severn-Kimo once ever again
Â
is that the fight from Pride 1? Worst fight ever!
-
The unedited version of Royce & Saku is a loooooong viewing my friend haha. I've only ever sat through the whole fight once. I dunno how the fans in attendance managed to do so. The result of the fight being so bloody long was despite Saku winning he could not go through in the tournament.
Â
Is it full fights on the best of? If so I'm guessing the reason they'd leave off Couture-Sylvia*Besides the obvious* would be that the fight went 25 minutes?
Â
the Rampage Jackson vs. Dan Henderson fight on that set goes for the full 25 minutes, so it could have just been a timme thing. The Couture/Sylvia fight is on the Ultimate 100 Greatest Fights set, which i recomend to everyone, its worth every penny

Gotta agree with you Steveo, Oldboy is truly amazing

Download has a great lineup but it's pretty weird, the whole main stage is basically old school bands, or new bands who play old school music...it works for me, but i can see why a lot of people who just like new stuff would be a bit pissed.
Â
all the new/scene bands are tucked away on the 2nd and 3rd stages...the fact that the 2nd stage is outdoor means that i wouldn't complain about it either way, ive never been a fan of watching bands in tents at festivals.
Â
its just down to wanting to represent the 30 years of rock at Donnington, and some people are having a bitch about it for no real reason.
As soon as AC/DC were confirmed i was there. they are the last major rock act for to tick off my list to see, and seeing Aerosmith again is going to great.
Â
If people just want to se the here and now, Sonisphere have still got plenty of tickets left.
Â
Actually, having said that, that seems a little harsh, as i'd probably go to that too if i could afford both. Download just seems to have a wider varity of big names and relative unknowns. There are a lot of bands that I have not heard of and am looking forward to seeing to try and find something new thats mabye going to blow me away.
Whereas Sonisphere are just throwing money around and getting the big names, you can't help but feel that they could end up 1PW-ing themselves.
Â
I used to go to Bloodstock but have stopped just becasue of the people that you get going their, i.e. snobby 'real' metal fans

Dont get me wrong, both 'Dance Of Death' and 'A Matter Of Life And Death' are both very good albums, but for me, 'Brave New World' is top to bottom perfect. It was when they started to flirt with prog elements, which did more on 'Dance Of Death' and again on this new album.
Â
Go check Blaze out live. He's got a great band with him now, and get the 'Silicon Messish' and 'Tenth Dimension' albums. Truely under-rated, excellent metal albums
