I look forward to seeing Tyler on NXT, I always thought he was great back when he got used on the old FCW shows.

Is Jack Gallagher always this good ? I don't know shit about him but I just watched him vs Mikey Whiplash (Scottish Wrestling Alliance) and he's brilliant in it, proper entertaining (so is Whilplash, natch).
Lovely chain wrestling, World Of Sport style comedy spots and a great story of him being a cheeky bastard that constantly one-ups Whiplash only to get outsmarted when it counts. Great match.
Yeah, I've only seen a limited amount of him but every time I have, he looks easily like one of the best in the UK. I remember really enjoying this match with
, and this recent match from Japan is really good, mostly in part to Jack. -
Congrats Maxwell, all the best to you and t'family!
-
Its mainly Saint doing his trademark spots but there's also a nice little story that builds about the Japanese fella resorting to the more high impact style of wrestling because he can't handle Saint's more technical style. 4FW should book Saint for their Michinoku show. And then they should book Negro Navarro as the lucha guy and put them in a match and bill it as Mexico vs. Michioku/England.
Â
Okay, maybe it doesn't quite fit, but somebody should book it.
Pretty sure Johnny Saint has well and truly retired now, though that would have been a cool match. I'd love to see someone like Navarro, Black Terry, Negro Casas, Blue Panther or Virus over here.

He had already done some heel work in the USWA..."Ingrate"I wonder if Vince had thought about becoming a heel authority figure before or if it was just a spur of the moment thing after the Montreal fallout.
-
Bumped in to this fella yesterday.

Pretty sure it was an NXT live event, it definitely wasn't tv.In googling Sami Zayn, I've just seen he had a match with Evan Bourne at the end of March! Was that on the NXT show or was it a dark/live event match? I didn't think Bourne was ring-ready yet.

I imagine it's taking a break - Season 1 lasted about three week given that they showed two episodes each time, so they pretty much had to follow it up with the next Season straight away. I'd like to wait, but I think I'm going to have to dive in to Season 3 on Netflix. Those who know about these things - is there any update on Parks And Recreation for BBC4? Season 2 finished tonight and I can't see it in the listings next week.

I'm sure Katie Lea has said in interviews that any planned incest implications were dropped before it was even insinuated on TV. Sponsor related, I think was her summation as to why it was dropped.
-
I can't stand Kurt Angle (at least not in his epic, 20+ minute main event style matches), so no, that wouldn't be something I'd want to see.
-
It was a Premier Promotions guest match I believe, the Chip Shop guy was Lee Darren, wrestling Jace The Ace. Shame neither got used again, they were both great. Some british exhibition match chanting chip shop guy at some wrestler, who was that?
-
I really like RHLSTP too, going to see the one he's filming this Monday with Stephen Fry, which I'm stupidly excited for.
-
They weren't really heels in the match though, they were just teamed up with the Bellas - they were still yelling "Us" to the crowd and whatnot. It seemed like there was going to be some love interest deal between Naomi and one of the Usos, but that could easily be dropped by the next episode.
Â
I've only watched a few minutes of it on YouTube, but the one Uso constantly leering at Naomi seemed pretty heelish. And mental, when Cameron's there.
Ah I didn't pay too much attention to the match, just afterwards Naomi seemed upset that one of the Uso's got beat. And yeah, Cameron's *right* there.

Did Eddie have any stand out matches in 04 - 05 though? I remember the ones with Rey being nothing on their WCW stuff.
They had a Smackdown match in June of 2005 that was probably better than any of their WCW stuff, including Halloween Havoc. I seem to remember the match revolving at least partially around Eddie having a massive bruise on his side. One of the best Smackdown matches ever, I'm pretty sure it's on Eddie's big DVD set.

I've got some lucha on my list, need to get round to writing that up at some point soon. That Virus vs Panther match is great too, I'm hoping it leads to a rematch which isn't bound by a ten minute time limit.
-
Not sure about the other guys but Sami Callihan is fucking dreadful. He's as bad as Davey Richards.
Not even close.
-
Jesus Christ. Considering that was clearly an accident, what exactly was Richards going for with that move?
Double stomp to the chest, I assume.

Matt Morgan isn't too fond of internet fans.

"I have more athleticism in my cock than they do in their entire body". Ha!
Only watched a little bit, but it seems like he was doing it in character. Bit of an dick if not.

I liked the Bryan/Ryback match a whole bunch, but I wouldn't say it's one of the best matches in WWE this year -I'd definitely rate Kofi vs Cesaro from this week's Main Event above it, that was a fantastic match.

Seeing the former Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson in a WWE ring at the same time would make me a ridiculously happy man so I'd love that. I certainly hope to see a Kings of Wrestling reformation. Complete with their wonderful spinning-while-linking-arms-while-waving-to-the-crowd celebration. I guess it's not totally outside the realms of possibility.
Â
Initially I would have said 'No way' as Cesaro was getting a great push and looked to be going places on his own in WWE.
Â
Sadly, they seem to have tired of him and he's now jobbing to Zack Ryder on house shows, so maybe a tag team with Kassius Ohno might be something to consider.
Doesn't mean anything really. Jack Swagger was jobbing left right and centre on Superstars, and then he won the ladder match at Mania a few years ago and became the World Champ. They jobbed Sheamus out like crazy too when he became King of the Ring, now look at him. It's just what they do these days.

Anyone else see the similarities, both in looks and characters?

It's arguably great news, since that means he probably wont be wrestling.
