  1. vs the 2 shit Wyatts

That Harper's had a lot of good matches lately for being shit.

Against Punk and Bryan, with Jamie Noble as the agent. His shite matches far outweigh the good stuff. Luger and Sting had great matches against Flair. They didn't have to many with each other, though.

His tag against the Prime Time Players was better than the Bryan match, same with the Kassius Ohno match on NXT. Hardly seen anything bad out of him at all, there's been a bunch of four minute matches of no consequence, but I can't think of a single time in the last few months where he's looked bad at all.

  2. Seemed like there was a lot of good stuff on the show, from a live perspective, but the three hour format means that you're gonna burn out eventually. The ending to the show was really got though, which is the most important thing, and I bet the Real Americans vs Cena was really good on TV too.

A loud "this is awesome" chant broke out during the divas tag on Superstars, which made me laugh nearly as much as Zeb ripping on Mr Bean. Though the latter was a total babyface move in my eyes.

  3. That Zeb one is amazing. Seriously, one of the better likenesses they've managed to do for a while, and just really cool in general to see him get a toy released. Even if it will likely be bundled in with a Jack Swagger doll.

  4. Early 2004 Raw was great, lots of Evolution tags and the like. They did an eight man on Raw around WrestleMania time which was loaded with talent, and there were a couple of Benoit vs Michaels matches that were real choice too. I swear they made a big deal of Tajiri early on in the year too, pretty sure he had a match with HHH that was lots of fun, and ended up with Trips doing wacky backstage skits whilst blinded by the green mist.

Going back to my original point, this week on TV we've had an eight man with The Shield and Orton vs DB/Goldy/Cody/Big-E, Goldust vs Rollins, Ambrose vs Bryan and The Shield vs The Usos - all bloody good. Not quite on that level, but there was also Neville vs Graves, Sandow vs Ziggler, Ziggler vs Orton and a really fun (if very short) Wyatts vs Usos tag. When they get to releasing the "Best of Raw and Smackdown 2013" blu ray, it's really going to be worth watching (even if it won't have all the amazing stuff we got in the early part of the year on Main Event).

  5. I know the year isn't out yet, but has there ever been a better year in WWE for free TV matches? There rarely seems to be a week go by these days where we don't get something awesome on at least one of Raw, Smackdown, NXT or Main Event. There have been years where one show has had a real hot streak, but all four of the "main" shows seem to regularly put out some really good stuff.

  6. It wasn't the best episode of the show, but it was a pretty perfect ending. After all the shit he's gone through, Jesse finally got out. Walt's dead, which had to happen, but he pretty much took himself out whilst he was completing the last part of his mission. And yeah, Jesse choking out Todd was one of the greatest things I've seen in ages. So visceral and cathartic.

  7. It's less that there's blurred lines, and more that people rarely have clear-cut turns these days. Punk certainly didn't, Bryan didn't, the Prime Time Players just showed up as faces one week. It definitely hurt Punk, especially since he was initially fueding with Cena, Triple H, Vince and Nash (all of whom most people like).

  8. Yeah, I don't see that there's anyway of a fuck finish like that. Walt's likely done for, there's like no way if ending it with him alive where the majority of the audience doesn't go "so then what happens?". Gilligan's pretty much promised a clear cut ending that won't disappoint, so I don't see a major plot point being left up in the air.

  9. With all the talk of a spin off series at least we know Saul wont bite it.

    Not if it's a prequel.

Yeah, Vince Gilligan mentioned that as a possibility when he was on the Nerdist a few weeks back. Either way, I just hope it comes to fruition as Saul's one of my favourite TV characters in years.
