Does Johnny Saint still work shows, or has he quietly re-retired? I've not seen his name crop up in many months.

"Its just another over-educated, middle class man getting pointlessly angry about a lot of things that aren't very important in the great scheme of things....' Tristran Fabriana, bbc.co.uk
Â
Surely that is a made up name. No one is called Tristran Fabriana
So you're saying it's Tristran Fabri-cated?

Edit:
On topic, I love Stewart Lee. Been to see him three times, and each time have ached through laughing so much. He was also a ridiculously nice guy when I met him.

This is Jerry Lawler and a local doctor vs. Bill Dundee and another local doctor, from 2011! It's actually really fun stuff, and the heel doctor is a pretty tidy worker for someone who, well, isn't a worker. Dundee looks good in particular, and really lays in some of his strikes.

Maybe a third of the way through Jericho's book, and it's pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the amount of Fozzy stuff, but so far there is some great stuff about his relationship with Triple H and Vince.

I picked up The Rock and Hogan's first biogs today for

If Sting were to sign, he should really wrestle Taker at next years WrestleMania. As it is, practically any match of his is going to be interesting, so a match against Dolph Ziggler would be fun. Cena and Orton matches could have great build behind them, but they seem to have potential Mania matches already sewn up.
-
I could see a one year deal, much like Goldberg did. Bret only had so much mileage as he couldn't wrestle "properly", whereas Sting has enough potential opponents to have a good match on each PPV if needs be.

I like the sound of the Corino angle, hopefully he's at the Atlanta shows.

La Parka and Octagon go to Burger King.

Cheers for that, hopefully I'll be able to get in.

Anyone here been to TNA in Orlando? Do you have to have a ticket to Universal Studios to get in?

I pretty much just do wrestling photos, but here's a few of my favourites:

The Spanish show was ok; the German one pretty gate; and the UK Invasion was a cracking event.
Open The Pretty Gate!

I think from now on DJ Kris and Freaky should be renamed Poll Patrol.
Is that like State Patrol? Which one's James Earl Wright, and who's Buddy Lee Parker?

Is anyone on UKFF ever going to come up with a play on Staniforth's name that isn't completely awful?
Â
And furthermore, which is worse - this one or dangerously420's classic 'Stainontrouserforth'?
John Chapman's "Peter Cumstainforth" is the original and best.

Had to work till 8 so just ordered my tickets now. Gone for rows F-J on both nights. The hall looks brilliant for wrestling, cant wait.
Ditto, same seating for me. Hopefully if Dragon Gate have a show this year, they don't clash.

If people can't take some critisism, then maybe they shouldn't be putting themselves in positions that opens them up to it. I've never heard of this guy before, so I dunno if he's good or not, but if he is legitimately considering quitting over this then he's either a bit of a wally, or agrees that he's shit beyond all help.

Speaking of the USWA, here is a particularly great promo from PG-13:
-
Saw him at the FWA show, and there's got to be far more than 20 people in this country much worse than him?
Here in lies the issue though - someone shit (not saying Shane is, I've met him once or twice but never seen him work) will naturally stand out more on a show like FWA, All Star, LDN or IPW where the talent level is, for the most part, of a high standard. These are also the kind of shows that people on here are likely to go to, more so in the case of FWA and IPW as they have a more Internet-geared promotion drive. It's possible that there would be twenty worse people on a single PTW (for example) show, let alone in the entire country on throughout the course of a year, it's just shows like that will have less people going to see them, and a particularly bad wrestler on a show like that might not stand out quite as much.
-
I'd say so, if fans are paying money to see shows that they are on, then they should be fair game.
-
I totally forget the order now, but Whiplash and Dynamite were both in my top three, they're both amazing wrestlers.

Kathy Najimy - voice of Peggy Hill from King of the Hill.

Seconded.
And Lee met her yesterday! Grr, Lee!

She's about fifty in that photo from a couple of years back, and she looks stunning.

British wrestling related question - does anyone know when Reslo started, and the year it ended? I know it finished after World of Sport, as there's a Kojima/Finlay match from 95 on Youtube.

Edit: Regarding Skip Sheffield, I met him about a month ago in Florida, and it looked like his hand was playing him up a lot still. He posed for photos with a bunch of kids, but said that he couldn't physically sign autographs.
