Both are 13 year old girls, and they put on a very decent effort. A Japanese version of the Norfolk Dolls, perhaps.

These were the same journalists that hyped Benoit as one of the best ever, and in general were big advocates of the influx of junior heavyweights in the mid nineties, so it's unsurprising that Benoit would talk to guys like Alverez. When Benoit died Brian Alvarez from F4Weekly wrote about Benoit being a subscriber and that they would chat every few months, which amazed me. I always thought Benoit would be an old school guy that would kill a sheetwriter if he saw one in the street.

I believe he still owns and trains people at OVW. He was a wrestler for most of his career, part of the Nightmares tag team with Ken Wayne. He's related to one of the Bashams, I think Doug.Whatever happened to the referee Danny Davis? Anybody know? Thanks.

I'm thinking it'll go Pac - Doug - Martin, from 3rd to 1st. Doug is more experienced than Stone, but Stone's had a much better year IMO.

I would have never pegged that either Bubblegum or El Ligero (or perhaps both) would be in the top 5. That being said, Ligero is about alot and has improved as well.

Does anyone know if/where Drew McDonald is wrestling at the moment? I'm a huge fan, and personally think that he's still one of the best wrestlers in Britain, but the only time I've seen him this year was at Croydon I believe. I'd really like to see him wrestle again at some point, so any info would be appreciated. Also, beside the Uprising shows and FOH, are any of the FWA shows from it's beginning - mid 2004 available on tape/DVD. I have Goldrush from 2004, anything before then would be great.

It is. Only goes about 5-6 minutes, but it's terrific stuff indeed.
Hi.Was that William Regal - Duggan match any good? I think it might be a closet stonker.Sunday Night Heat Next episode: August 3, 20071.William Regal vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan 2.Snitsky vs. Jeff Michaels 3.Lance Cade, Trevor Murdoch, Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin vs. The Highlanders, Paul London & Brian Kendrickcould this be the 8-man tag coach was talking aboutfound it on www.tv.com

Swanley's a fucking hole.Edit: Further explanation - the venue had terrible acoustics, never got full up, front row was miles away from the ring, and the Swanley shows always seemed to be really sub-par compared to the Orpington offerings. Also, what's with the 'Swanley (boo)' references?

Ah right, cheers. Forgot that it was an extension of the Family vs. Paul Travell fued.Edit:Does anyone have an MP3 of Jack Xavier's old FWA music? I used to have it and must have downloaded from here or the FWA website, so someone might be able to help me out.

What was the storyline that lead to Raj Ghosh teaming with Thunder and Drew McDonald at FWA British Uprising 3?
-
That video is what I miss in British wrestling. That actually got me excited for a show, and hyped enough that I managed to convince a casual fan to go to the show as well. Strong storylines put across well in a video, we need more of this.
You're sort of visible in this video, about 1.40, as Doug forearms Corino. Best I can do!Hmmm.Odd request this one.Does anyone have any matches with me reffing that can either be sent to me or stuck somewhere (but not advertised please I don't want that happening ) that I can grab?Reason is my new work collegues don't believe I was a referee for a proper wrestling fed and I want to prove them wrong! :DAnd since I find it hard to watch myself on TV I didn't get any copies for myself! Duh :DAnyway. Yeah I know it's the questions thread but hey, better here than starting a new thread about me lol.I'm thinking:Doug Vs Steve Corino 2004would be my first pick! :DOOooo, or actually...CM Punk Vs Colt CabanaAs they might recognise Punk :DFeck sake, at this point I'd take a Picture lol...."Come on, you're telling me 3 years working in a wrestling federation and there's not one picture you can find...."Gah!!!

Nice to see Adam Shame still hanging in, not seen too much of his stuff, but what I have was very good indeed.

Back off Brussels!OI!!! NO FRENCH!!!
-
He was on the first main WAW show I saw, breaking Red Hellion in half with a spear. I'm pretty sure that was before he branched out to other feds.

Destiny beat Saraya at RQW, not t'other way round.

Just Googled this pic of her, as I had no idea who you were talking about. Few years old, this pic, but I think I'm in loveI must confess, the second Tonks came on screen in the new Potter film I was a bit taken aback! Some rack on it!

Does anyone have a current UK scenario on EWR?
-
Being serious, if Mike Quakenbush does draw 50 extra people then he is well worth a main event slot for that show.
So that's an extra 50 people then.
The August 11th show is in Philadelphia - this match is almost certainly an effort to draw CHIKARA fans across, as the June Philly show drew less than the February one.Bryan Danielson vs Mike Quackenbush august 11 cant wait to see this one
-
I think we've waited long enough.
Does this mean we can start?Do you think when the Cops arrived at the scene and found the bodies they lifted each of their arms three times to make sure they were really out?

Like when it happened during Shannon Moore vs. Sonjay Dutt a couple of years back!
