  1. So the guy just happens to be walking down the road, filming nothing, takes the time to make sure we see a bunch of people watching the sky and only THEN does he show us...ok.

To be fair though, you consider the amount of people walking about in London on a daily basis, there's bound to be one or two people walking about fucking with the camera on their phone. Whether it's real or not I don't know, but it can't just be explained away with "guy walking around with his camera phone? I call bullshit"

  2. I do hope it's not the last we see of Kingston. The chemistry between her and Smith is amazing and one of the great parts of this series. I'd looked up the spoilers (I'm a bit of a drag like that) but it still gave me chills when watching it. Brilliantly done.

  3. I've finally watched Saturday's episode after missing it and then I've had internet issues with iPlayer which have been a bit of a pain. So am I right in thinking that The Doctor deliberately took them to this building so he could learn about The Flesh, knowing full well that Amy was one of them? Bit confusing, but it's slowly making sense now.

I'm not too sure on the idea of having a mid-season finale. I know this series is being shown in the States at the same time and mid-season breaks are fairly popular over there, but after the six episodes we've had so far, I don't want to have to wait a couple of months to finish this current series off. I'd much rather get my full dose from The Doctor (and Amy Pond) in one go. We'll see how it pans out on Saturday though. The trailer/prequel on the website make it look like it's going to be a pretty huge episode and I can't see us not getting left with another gigantic cliffhanger. I wonder if it'll be the reveal on River Song's big secret or something...

I like the split into two halves as it will give less of a wait between the end of this series in the winter, and the start of the newest series next year.

The rumours floating around about Amy are interesting, and I cannot wait to see what happens with that, and to finally learn who River is.

  4. Usually with TV shows, this type of discussion would be considered as looking way too deeply into what is going on, but only with Doctor Who can you really expect the story to get this complex. Some interesting theories, and I'd like to see Captain Jack return in the future, and I hope it's in the latter half of this series. What are people's thoughts on the regenerating girl at the end of episode 2, I think it was?

With Doctor Who it could literally turn out to be anything and still be genius, but just wondered what you all thought as you have some pretty interesting ideas about what's to come next week.

  5. I am currently going through all Michael Connelly books. Currently on Chasing The Dime which i think is 1 of his best. Got to love Harry Bosch though.

I've had a kindle a few months now and it's well worth the buy. Mainly use it for the papers, but let go of all your apprehensions and just get one to try yourself. Some will love it, others will hate it. You really have to experience it for yourself though.

  6. What is the general view of Amy here? I think she's fantastic; and in addition I think she's fit as fuck

I don't like her TBH my least favorite since the return hoping this is her last series

She was good in the first series, but getting a bit tired of her and hope this'll be her last series too.

Really enjoying Smith. Such an incredible actor and plays the Doctor exactly how you would expect him to be. There's a lot more depth to the character than with the Tennant years, even with the silly and witty lines and action sequences, there's a darkness to Smith's Doctor that's constant and recognisable which I think makes him perfect in the role.

Wasn't too keen on the latest episode, because it came across as a bit too rushed, but looking forward to next weeks.

  7. I love the fact people like Steveo and Duane will have been on the internet losing their shit about that video and now it comes out its a viral ad for a movie. Amazing.

    "losing their shit"

Interesting analysis you've drawn from me simply posting a video.

"People like", as in the slightly madcap internet population who go nuts over these things.

    I bet you did though.

If I'm honest I did find it kind of cool, but that's totally not the point.

  8. I don't understand what Duane is hoping to achieve posting this shit endlessly on here. No-one, aside from that idiot Steveo2007, is in the slightest agreement with anything that he ever posts.

Plus, he never EVER addresses any of the quite often intelligent points, in-between the justified "You tinfoil hat spacker!" insults he regularly gets, that counter the stuff he raises.

Also, once again, he's 35 years old.

Although I don't recall expressly stating "yes I 100% agree with Duane" (though I'm sure I may have said something similar in the past) I would call it more like keeping an open mind. Fair enough if people enjoy making themselves feel big on a message board, that's great. They should keep at it, because it certainly works for them. But, apart from the crazy and embarrassing stuff like the David Icke nonsense and this numbers business, this thread can be a good one for open discussion of the paranormal and conspiracies, once the dickheads get bored.

  9. Apparently young offenders don't get their sentences cut for good behaviour. So someone said on another forum anyway. So he should serve the full 2 years 8 months.

It was on Sky News earlier that he was only going to serve half of that sentence anyway, whether he gets out earlier than that for good behaviour, we'll just have to wait and see.
