I blame Taker for that. There’s so many things they did with him as a supernatural character, like the lights going out, his music playing. And that could all be kinda explained because he was supernatural. They heard the pops it got and started doing it with other wrestlers, but without the get out of “he’s got special powers” then the only explanation is they are telling the sound guy they are about to run out.

The top comment on Elias/Ezekiels debut on YouTube is saying how this is like repackaging Bray Wyatt as Husky Harris. 

I think also a lot of people watch additional football content like analysis, news, pundits, phone ins etc to see what they think. It doesn’t work with WWE as such as it’s all kayfaybe. Probably why shoot interviews and podcasts for wrestling are so popular. also WWE is so separate to AEW unlike football. 
 

Now if they had shows where Vince McMahon did post RAW interviews talking about how well the show went and what didn’t work and where he needs to improve, I’d be all over that. Jeff Stelling is available isn’t he?

It defo feels slightly different. You feel more like you’re in the action as opposed to watching from far away. And the models seem a bit more exaggerated are cartoony than usual. Kind of like edging towards All Stars territory but not quite. Just most of the roster I don’t know. Wish they did a vintage year and replicated the roster from then. I think I’d go:

Career mode would be all about Hogan and Zeus and No Holds Barred. Plus would love to see a game with Hercules and Akeem.

Is it just not that Rosa didn’t apply it properly. I think if someone properly pulls ur jaw down you can’t bite as your jaw is the one bit that can bite the top teeth don’t move (if that makes sense)

Doesn’t Duggan bleed from the mouth when Yokozuna Banzai drops him after Duggan became the first person to knock him down. And he also does the blood from the mouth when Andre chokes him with his singlet. Maybe Hacksaw just has receding gums. 

It’s a shame he didn’t have a blowoff or exit feud on AEW. Be good for someone to take credit for him leaving

I think everyone should have to wear Bossman attire. Just 30 Bossmans 

Rules made the heels look better as nobody would touch an official through fear of fine or suspension. Then when some heel did do it, like Vader to Monsoon, it was shocking. Heels were great as they were cowards, even Mene Gean would tell them off. If Mene Gene was interviewing now he would be scared of everyone and F5’d every other week 

Once Covid is well and truly done we just going to have the UKFF Royal Rumble in person? I’ll hire the ring 

Yeah thanks again. Must take a lot of effort. Love seeing where I came. I’d love to say I chose the numbers myself and can claim the victory but my mate Ray Traylor actually picked for me. 

I agree with what everyone has said here. You should only be able to be eliminated by people “IN” the rumble. However like with Jake scaring Andre out or Hogan pulling Sid, you can have debate over should it stand or not (technically did Andre eliminate himself and Flair eliminate Sid). That way when it stands it leads to controversy and and further storylines. Otherwise if you are in a stable why not all come to the ring and eliminate everyone. Needs to be some sort of rules 

Chops as well. When punches were banned a bit more it made sense. A chop is there purely because a loud one “actually hurts” and to me it just highlights them saying none of the other moves or strikes are actually hitting

Shooting star or moonsaults. How would they impact anymore than just a normal splash, so added risk for no added reward. 
 

Someone doing a finisher in a Rumble or tag match which just so happens the person springs back up to be eliminated or face the tag partners finisher.

Like everyone has said the lack of star power was obvious. Also they are reaping the non rewards of having everyone fight everyone else and trade wins. It used to be that in the Rumble two people could face off who you had never seen face off before. You’d get excited about what possible combinations of people in the ring there could be. Now it matters less, only with celebrities can they create something new. 

Hope you realise how much more exciting it makes a dull rumble waiting for your numbers to come out. Thanks for doing this
