  1. Looking to get a few new games, can anyone recommend me some RPGs that are similar to Oblivion, Fallout:NV etc not fussed about the world it's set in just looking for something that includes plenty of exploration, quests, choices etc that can effect the outcome of the game. Not a massive gamer but i'm a sucker for RPGs like The Elder Scrolls series.

  2. Having read his second (excellent) book that talked about his struggles with heavy input from his therapist it's not surprising things always end up this way for the bloke. He has so many issues that go far beyond the drink from ocd to drugs to a variety of other mental health afflictions. If anything the football probably kept him right for a period in his life and now it's gone all his problems have just gotten worse and worse. Feel for the bloke and his family, nobody should end up looking like he does up there.

  3. James Garner has died. Don't know if he'd have many fans on here but most of you have probably seen him in The Great Escape or The Notebook. I was an absolutely massive fan. Was great in The Rockford Files and Maverick and a host of films over the years. Guy made any role he played (often similar ones admittedly) look easy.

  4. Deadwood is immense, have turned alot of people onto it and the consensus is always positive. I have a question, is the pilot of Mad Men generally considered to be very good? I watched it and can't say I enjoyed it very much, even Jon Hamm who iv'e enjoyed in everything iv'e seen him in didn't do anything for me. Obviously it's a huge critical success so was just wondering whether to persevere or tap out if it really isn't going to be for me.

  5. The Lanny Poffo BK was pretty good I thought, something about Lanny is endearing. Can't help but like the guy, he seems honest enough too, would totally believe him on the family going in the HOF thing. Sounds like something crazy Savage would want.

  6. I have played Skyrim and while I enjoyed it very much I enjoyed Oblivion about 10x more. I know that's an unpopular opinion but I just thought Oblivion had much more character and was generally alot more fun. I wasn't a big fan of the dragons or the civil war storyline in Skyrim though I think it's usually the fun side quests that make these games. Fallout 3 is on to get list, the thing I love so much about NV is how you can take many different paths to the same goal, iv'e put about 40 hours in and still have alot left to do. Thanks for the heads up about completing the sidequests before the main one. Had no idea that would happen so i'll be sure to leave that out.

  7. I'm currently working my way through Fallout:New Vegas and it's one of the most fun gaming experiences iv'e ever had. Never really saw myself as much of a gamer, especially an RPG guy but this and Oblivion have easily been my two favorite ever games.
